Foreign welcome to campus to corporate transformation Short VIDEO series video number 8 Interesting thing. Professionalism is what we are going to talk about today when we talk about professionalism in campus. Usually it is confined to dress code or certain rules, maybe of your attendance or a little bit of other things. Most of the time there is limited or no professionalism on campus. Why? Because it is a casual attitude, you know. So the manner in which you communicate with your peers, your friends, even with the staff and teachers is little casual. There is no discipline, there is no professionalism in a behavior as such, okay? It is casual, casual and casual everything and everywhere. However, when you get into corporates, please understand professionalism defines corporate world. You need to be professional here. You cannot take the leverage of being casual here at any cost, okay? No matter what kind of a culture you are in, still professionalism is required. Not particularly with respect to just your dress code. It could be a casual dress code, but professionalism is most importantly seen in the way you conduct yourself, your professionalism in behavior, in your communication skills and your interpersonal skills in connecting with people, in, you know, in conducting yourself, your etiquette, your manners. All these things must be professional. It is about punctuality, it is about, you know, managing your time respectively other people's time. So professionalism has to be shown in variety of ways in community in your corporates which you have not learned here in campus. So people you know struggle once they come in corporate because there is so much to learn and so much you feel restricted, you know, and people, you find people who are cold and distant here because they are not mingling with you, just your. Just like your friends have done it here, you know, in campus. So life is going to be different. Let me alert you once again. So I don't want you to become professional with your friends here once you are in campus. But be prepared that this is what you are going to expect. You have to show a lot of professionalism in your attitude and in the way you conduct yourself or behave, okay? So that is about professionalism. I will see you around in another interesting topic. Thank you so much.
