Hi! Hi! Hi everybody! My name is Sarah Spencer and I'm a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. I write country music, I write Americana music, I write pop music. So what is this? What is this place? This is called Patreon. It's kind of like a combination of like if Kickstarter and like a music subscription service had a baby. They had a baby and it was beautiful and it's called Patreon. Patreon is an amazing platform for musicians, creatives, indie artists, people like myself who are constantly making things. The world. So how does this work? Here's how it works. On a platform like Kickstarter, usually bands ask their fans to pledge them a large amount of money one time for one project. Patreon is different in that fans are asked to pledge a small amount for an ongoing project. In my case, I'm releasing music videos of my original music. If you sign up to be a patron and you pledge, say, $1 per video that I release, and I release like 3 videos in a month, then you'll be giving me anywhere between $1 and $3. And you're awesome! And that is super cool! Thank you forever! As a patron, you also also get access to exclusive rewards for your patronage. Just a way of saying thank you for supporting me and my art. So check out the rewards below, message me if you have any questions at all, I'm on Twitter all the time, probably too much, @heysarahspencer, and I look forward to getting to know you! Bye! Thanks for stopping by my Patreon page! We're going in and out of focus! This camera is having a hard time with life right now! Bye!
