Hi everyone, this is, uh, Scott Levin, Chief Peacekeeper. I am a mediation attorney in California. I am here today with Jill Barnett Kaufman. How are you, Jill?
I'm great, Scott. Thanks for having me.
Of course. So Jill and I want to make you aware of a workshop that we're putting on. It's called Mediating a Divorce with a Narcissist, and we're going to have a program where basically we talk about tips for communication and negotiation with a narcissist in mediation. So it is possible to mediate a divorce with that scenario and to capture all of the benefits that mediation offers— a timely end, a fair outcome, you know, an amicable process. Obviously, there can be, you know, some pitfalls or issues when you're working with a narcissist, but it is possible to form a team to get through this process with a narcissist. And that's what we're going to be talking about. Jill, what are your thoughts?
Yeah, I'm so excited about it. Um, we're going to be doing it live on Thursday, August 31st at 6 PM Eastern, 3 PM Pacific. And, um, this comes up so often, and I know that the, the word narcissist gets thrown around, but it's for high conflict or difficult or narcissistic people. And I think people can really benefit from getting some tips on how to communicate with them. And it's going to be really worth your time.
So we're going to post a link in the description here, and you can click on that to register. There is no charge, right, Jill?
Yeah, it's free.
We're giving away our time, but, you know, Jill and I have worked in this world for a long time. Jill is based in New York, New Jersey part of the year, but working all over the country. I work throughout California. We've known each other for going on, I think, over 5 years now and referred back and forth. And we just think that we have a lot to bring to this topic to help people. And we hope that you'll join us and you'll just click on that, on that link in the description to register.
We'll see you soon.
All right, y'all, talk soon.
