Three banded hamstring exercises to build strength and mobility. Start with a straight-leg raise, toes pulled toward your nose. Then bend the knee toward your chest and kick the heel up. Finally, lock the knee, rotate the hip inward, and sweep the leg across your body to hit the outer hamstrings and glutes.

Today we're going to go through the 3 banded hamstring movements that we do on a pretty regular basis here, really targeting our lower body chain and posterior side of the leg. Okay, so we've got 3 movements again that we're going to go through. First is our straight leg raise. So as Phoebe is showing here, wrapping that band around the bottom of the foot, bringing that leg as high up as we can while we keep that knee locked out. And as an added stretch, we're going to pull those toes down towards your nose here. Awesome. Let's get one more rep there. Good. And then we're going to our second movement. Okay, so starting with that leg as high as we can bring it with that knee staying locked out, we're going to bend that knee towards your chest. Don't drop that foot. Good. And then we're going to kick that heel as straight up towards the ceiling as we can go here. Okay, helps to keep that band together on the inside of the leg so we've got room to kick out. And we can let that knee fall towards the side a little bit, open up that hip some more. Good. Let that knee fall out to the side. Awesome. Okay, and then we're going to go into that 3rd movement here, working that across the body stretch. So again, making sure this knee stays locked out. Okay, we're going to internally rotate that hip, keep that foot nice and flat, and we're going to work across the body here. We should be feeling this down the outside of the hamstrings, outside of the glutes, and sometimes even in the calf depending on how tight we are. Biggest focus on this last stretch Okay, so again, that was our straight leg kick stretch, our banded hamstring kick outs.
