A running drill that pulls your heel toward your buttocks into a figure-4 position, activating your hamstrings while keeping your stance leg soft and balanced. It's not a butt-kick or knee-drive, but a controlled movement that improves cadence when done smoothly on each leg.

The major thing that we're going to focus on with Pose Running is our pull-to-pose. So that means going from our base of support into this pose figure 4 position and keeping our base over our stance leg. Okay, so that's a pull with the heel to the butt, not a butt kick, not a knee drive, but somewhere in the middle. From the side, you're going to see that figure 4 position. So we're just going to focus on pulling our heel right to our butt. You should feel that hamstring activation. We're just going to go heel pull into that pose position, and you see how my foot is not hitting the wall. We're just going up and down, and so we're going to stay nice soft on the stance leg. I'm just here and alternate, and we can go here. We can also work on now picking up the cadence a little bit and just staying balanced on that stance leg and repeating the process.
