A coordination drill called pull-pull-pose teaches runners to land softly by pulling the heel up, then holding a light stance. It's designed for runners who land heavily or grip their ankles, improving foot strike and running efficiency.

One of the tougher drills we'll do that requires a little bit of coordination but still incorporates a lot of the concepts that we're trying to build on here is the pull-pull-pose. So we're going to focus on just getting into that heel-pull positioning, again nice and soft through the ankles, knees, and hips, okay, but we're going to work on sticking our landing. So we're going to go pull-pull-pose, pull-pull-pose, pull-pull-pose, pull-pull-pose, pull-pull-pose, okay. So you're just gonna, as you see, as you go through the reps, pull-pull-pose, Hold pose. We're going to alternate sides and just focus on sticking that landing and being nice and soft through the foot. This is a great drill to use if we tend to be really heavy and really holding tension through the ankle as we're running. Okay, so great warm-up exercise for that.
