Welcome to Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy with me, your host, Sean Clayton. So this is going to be the first of many. We're going to work to pump these things out daily, and they're going to be just short snippets that really talk about ways that you can alchemize your life. Um, different tactics and tricks that I've seen, I guess we call them hacks, maybe not tricks, but that I've seen in my journey. Some of them work for me, some of them don't work for me, but at the end of the day, it's just how we actually position ourselves best in life, to be able to really, what I call, ride that divine roller coaster that was meant for you. Some of this is going to be through experimentation. Some of this is going to be through things that I've actually done for myself. But choose your own adventure, you know, learn what feels good to you. And through that process, what we'll do is ride this wave together. So, one just tell you a little bit about me. My background has been riddled with trauma and something that I have fallen in love with over time, because I can see that it's not necessarily a linear thing. The cause and effect traps that we get stuck in aren't necessarily like, hey, this is the thing that led to that. But it's all of the things that are combined, that drama drive us to becoming the most beautiful versions of ourselves. But it doesn't necessarily mean that it was that thing that caused the effect of this. It's actually maybe this is the thing that caused for that to exist. So I could appreciate it. We'll get into time bending alchemy and how we look into that in some future episodes. But we're going to start out today is just really about the law of mentalism. So all of this practice that I'm into or that I'm going to walk us through is around these seven laws of the universe. There's these books called Kabylan Emerald Tablets. There's hermetic principles, whatever you want to call them. But if you look across religious texts, what you'll find is that all of these different laws kind of live across those religious texts. You have seven hermetic laws, you have seven days of creation, you have seven days of the week. So this kind of magic number seven lives really in everything through that process of understanding that the number of seven and these laws that actually created the universe, it all starts with the law of mentalism. So when we think of the law of mentalism, it's the universe is mental in the mind of the all. What that means, simply put, is that thoughts become things. If you've heard of Wayne Dyer, maybe you have, and he has a whole amazing talk track on this. So I encourage you, if you haven't listened to it or read about it or YouTubed it, there's some great things in it. So what you think, you get out of it, when you think beautiful things, beautiful things come out of it. You approach a situation out of frustration, you get frustration out of it. You approach it in love, you get love out of it. It's pretty simple. But the thing is that oftentimes we get trapped in the illusion of the mind that we have to suffer or we have to go through this, what I call, like, linear timeline, and get stuck in these kind of tricks or patterns of the past or what we've been taught is a way of being. And in that aspect of mentalism, we're constantly putting out kind of in our subconscious, without awareness, this lack of purpose. And so most of us don't find our purpose really in our life, which is kind of sad. And we're always on the quest, like, what's the meaning of life? What's this and that? And the meaning of life is actually probably more simple than we've actually made it out to be. And it really sits with love. What created us is us, right? And so what created us, you can call it God, you can call it source, you can call it all, but that is what we are. And what were we created out of it was the love of exploring self. And when we ever we start to like wake up to ourselves, we recognize that there is just this journey within. And that journey within is a pretty deep space that we have to go into. But we have to go through so much unpacking of self, through experiences of others, through addictions, through trauma, through sometimes like good trauma. Like the things life is just too good. You wake up and you're like, there has to be more than this. But either path that we go down, the real key of it is that when we start establishing ourselves off of being able to sit and really find, I call our purpose, then it allows us to actually start creating that seed of mentalism in our life. And a seed of intentional mentalism. It's not a seed of unconscious mentalism or unaware mentalism. It's a seed of conscious and aware mentalism that allows you to create a ripple effect in your life out of very firm intention. So with that, what we actually want to understand is that there is a very focused purpose of your life. In this first episode, we're going to talk about what it's like to find your purpose. What processes that I've gone through and that I found for other individuals that I coach and that I work with, how they find their purpose as well. Now it's one thing to find your purpose, it's another thing to live in your purpose. So in future episodes, we're going to talk a little bit about how you ground your purpose, how you remember your purpose, how you chant it into life, how you make it a non negotiable in everything that you do every single day. But for the purposes of this, it'll be a quick exercise that we go through. But how do you find your purpose? What is it that we need to go through and how do you establish it? So an exercise that I do and that I've worked with individuals in is that we have to understand the polarity of how we actually view life. How we look at the things that we love and the things that we fear. Simply put, if you know about David Hawking's scale of consciousness, he's like everything on this grand scale. And so, you know, all the way up to pure Tao and love, all the way down at shame. And if you understand all of the things that encompass, that you can actually ground yourself in what makes you and understand how to overcome the things that you have suffered in or that you've been fearful of. So if you quickly jot down and this is something you can even do right now, what are five things you love and five things you fear? Right. The number five, you could pick three, you can pick five, you can pick seven. The five just seems like a nice round number to start with. And if you talk about the five things you love and the five things you fear and you look at those, the what you love, you'll want to expand. What you fear, you'll want to overcome. I use the word want carefully, but let's back it up a little bit. What you love, you will expand, and what you fear, you will love. If I ever start using words like want or try in these episodes, you guys write me if I don't course correct it, because it's all about changing those words too, which we'll also talk about in future episodes as well. So find what you love. Find what you fear. Remember what you love, remember what you fear, and put that on a list. Then what you'll do is you say, okay, if I know that I was created out of love, and that is really the seed of my purpose. And there have been things in my life that have kept me off balance either in the aspect of being overly loving in these things. And I've become addicted to looking at things that validate me outside of that. And I'm not super centered in the things that I love in my life. And then on the other side, I'm actually overly fearful. And I haven't stepped through the windows of fear in my life. You can get trapped in the extensions of polarity of both of those. Now in order to find your purpose in this process, what we want to do is basically say, okay, the five things that I love. And I'll use myself as an example. The five things I love. I love solving problems. I love talking to individuals about this knowledge that drops into my head. I totally enjoy being around others and experiencing others and having a great time with friends and family. I love the woman of my life. Her name is Sophia, and she's absolutely fantastic. Enjoy spending time with her and really, you know, sinking in and being still on top of all that, I love giving. So within those frameworks, you can actually see that there's things that I love. Now, on the other side, what do I fear Now? I've overcome a lot of this fear, but I'm going to go backward a couple of years and talk about what I fear. I fear not being affirmed. I used to fear not being accepted by my kid. I feared rejection from my family. I feared that I would be seen and judged for the trauma of my past. Those are Some aspects of things that I feared. So if I turn back around and I say the things that I fear, I need to learn how to transmute those. And so how do I love the trauma of my past? How do I love being able to not be always accepted by my son? How can I love the windows of my parents maybe rejecting me, which at times they did when I was on the spiritual journey? And how can I go through the process of actually expanding the love of all the things that I talked about that I loved at first? So now I've got these beautiful things that I love, right? And then I can expand from those. So how do I expand thinking about things? Well, I'm doing it right now, so I'm actually stepping into that abundant framework of myself now. What I'm doing is I'm actually starting to fall in love with the trauma of my past. Because what I've done is I've now connected the fact that it's not on a linear timeline. I can look at it a little bit differently and I can start to choose infinite possibilities around why that trauma was created for me to love myself more than I can also say, okay, when it comes down to my son, what I'm actually doing is setting myself and being a better role model, not only from within, but for him, so he can see me differently. But because I show up differently, I can also say I'm going to stand my ground. When it comes down to establishing boundaries of how I actually show up with my mother and my father within that, it required me to actually understand that I had to step into true vulnerability within my weaknesses. And I also had to step into full truth and. And be able to accept all the things around me. So my purpose statement started to come out around these themes of vulnerability and truth. And also that all of these other things that I was involved with had to do with solving human problems. So now it's basically saying, so when I started pulling my purpose statement together, it was essentially falling in love with my human condition through truth and vulnerability while embracing the divinity and all that I perceive. And so the divinity that I perceived was like all these things were defined and. And I perceived them to be divine because they were intended for me. I had to become truthful and vulnerable in all these other frameworks of my life. And I had to embrace the humanity that was standing in front of me. Now this is kind of a general statement. And then what I do then is I say, okay, how do I actually talent that out? I have a skill set that I was Given when I came into this world, I didn't know what that was when I was born. But as I've grown up, what you start to see is that people say, hey, you do this really well. You do that really well. And it almost is one of those things that you're really fluent with. Some. Some of you guys that are listening to this might be amazing artists, some of you might be amazing writers, some of you might be amazing speakers. There's a talent that's tied to the senses of yourself. You might be great with your hands. You might be, you know, amazing athlete. You might be this brilliant intellect that can be wildly mathematical. You think about all these things that we call disorders, right? You know, so if you have adhd, your mind might be on, like, hyperdrive and you have like all of this amazing way to pay attention to everything all at once. Well, that's a gift, right? And so you might have something that somebody has considered a disorder that you actually have. That's a gift of your life that you can take your purpose and actually stretch it into that that allows you to do really abundant things in your life. So these are the steps that we go through in order to find our purpose. What I'll actually do in future episodes, and I'd love to get some feedback, you can definitely go on my social it's abundance 10,000 and actually ask any questions that will help you ground this out. And I can work with you on some of those things or post some different quick snippets about what this process looks like. I'll also stand up a worksheet that I use in my coaching practice that'll allow you to understand how to actually write those things down. And then in that purpose statement, you want to refine it to be your own so it really feels good to you. And then from there, what we'll do is we'll ground that purpose in your talent. How we actually go through that. So in the next episode, tune in. We're going to keep these snippets from a daily dose perspective at about six to 10 minutes each. But absolutely grateful for you all to be here. I'm going to use a ho' opono pono statement that's about thank you and I love you and I just appreciate you all for tuning in and looking forward to the next one coming. Thank you so much.
