Sean Clayton argues that past lives aren't sequential but different aspects of one unified consciousness, since time is an illusion. He weaves his own trauma and healing into a case for integrating both pain and pleasure across generations, using hermetic principles and quantum perspective to show how to avoid ego-identification with past-life identities.

Welcome to the Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy podcast. I'm your host, Sean Clayton, and my story's pretty interesting. Went through a ton of trauma, former incarceration, suicide attempts, sexual abuse in my life. And one of the things that's happened in my life is I've actually used hermetic principles, alchemy, all these really cool tools that we hear and we talk about the Illuminati, whatever you want to call it, and develop practices in order to change and affect my lives differently. So within this podcast, I will be giving tidbits and bites for individuals to be able to bite into on a daily basis. That will allow you to take baby steps to change your life. But at some point you'll find the door that starts to change the effect of how you show up on a daily basis. Enjoy this, give feedback, come to my Instagram comment, whatever it might be, always open because we wouldn't be here without each other. Please enjoy and thank you and I love you. We're back on another awesome episode of Daily Alchemy. And on this one, before we start going into numerology, which will round out the rest of the series for season two, we're going to talk a little bit about past lives. And I get a lot of questions about this in my comments on ig and a couple of other individuals have asked me questions about it. And I have a probably different take than most individuals. It's always one of those topics that kind of like the church has rubbed me not the wrong way, but it's just something feels like out of balance about the concept of a past life doesn't mean they don't exist. It doesn't mean there's not a concept of the past or anything along those lines. But when you start thinking about everything from a quantum or unified field perspective, there is no past, there is no present. There's only now. But then that now has all expansiveness in it. And you're constantly living in this non linear timeline and there's the illusion of the linearness. And in that illusion is where we have heaven and hell. In that illusion is where we have polarity and duality and all the things that actually cause for the beautiful thing that we call pleasure and the thing that we call pain. If there was none of that, then we wouldn't have pleasure. So we have to have this concept of duality. We have to have this concept of the past and the future. When you start thinking about it and really get into the unified field dynamics and things around the quantum and Go a little bit deeper into it. What ends up being really integrated for me personally, and once again, all this stuff is just half truth, is that if you take the concept of past lives and you look at everything in the concept of we're all one big unified entity and time is an illusion, that means there's no past lives. That means that there's just one big life. There's one big entity. And so, you know, I used to have these visions around. I was in the time of Christ, or I would do these astral travel things where I would end up, like in the body of some Buddha thing or living in some days of slavery and channeling my great grandfather or whatever it might be. He stepped into my father's body or my mother's body. And the great thing about the mind is that it's a radio receiver and it can pull in signal from anywhere. It can pull in signal not only from the world that we're in now, which, you know, a lot of psychics are good at that and individuals that do remote viewing, but it can pull in, if time is an illusion, things from any given time. So you'll have people out there that are like, hey, I was once Cleopatra, or I was once Moses, or you name some character. And what's interesting about that is that we end up reading about these characters, and then you all of a sudden, you have this recognition of the character. Well, if everything in our life is something that we create, then what I'm reading is my creation. And therefore I was already tied to it at some point. So there's these beings that exist that we start to throw into our aperture, into our view on a daily basis. And you can call worship or remembering or whatever you want to call it, the repeated cycle of paying attention to that individual or to that being or that entity. When we start to pay attention to that being or that entity, then we start to gather information from a time that they existed or from a consciousness that is bridged. The greatness or the failures that they were or that they are. Because there is no were, right? If we take the principle that time's an illusion. So if you're like, oh, hey, I was Jesus or Mary Magdalene or Mary or Joseph or anybody in those time frames or even, hey, I was one of the. You know, if we humbly take, I wasn't Jesus, and I was walking with Jesus, I was one of his disciples, or I was there as one of the individuals that he did something to. Yes, you were all of those things. We are just as much Christ as we are, Judas as we are, Buddha as we are, Yadisara as we are, Gandhi as we are, Dr. Martin Luther King as we are, John F. Kennedy as we are, even Donald Trump. We're everything. And when we recognize that we're everything, it puts us in a space where we can start to have compassion and experiences through not only our perspective of viewing them and witnessing them and observing them. And when you zoom out enough, then you have perspectives as they are now. Are we going to actually ever be the embodiment of that individual? No. But what will happen is that there will be lives or experiences that you start to recognize from your past that assist you in becoming your whole beautiful you. And then at some point, once we start to really create that rhythm or that expansion and then that vibration within ourselves based on that rhythm, we will be able to then send messages or information to those individuals and then start to have an aspect of co creation. One of the things that I've seen is that in my experience, and I'm going to use Jesus as an example because pretty well recognized figure, is that for the longest time Jesus had a very specific story. To me, Jesus was a person who lived in a very specific time. There was this lost window that I didn't understand about him, between 30 and 33, had this amazing walk on earth and then crucified himself. And then what that was, was a saving grace for all of humanity. That's all I knew what was in the book, what was in those chapters. And then I went a little bit deeper and I read this Gospel of the Holy 12. Where did that come from? Because it just wasn't in natural reach at any point or anywhere that I could get to. Then you start reading some Dead Sea Scrolls and you start reading a few other books and then you start reading certain people that channel them. And then that channeling then matches back with the other books. And you're like, well, how is that even there? If the person channeled it before or after this book was written, and there was no way that they would have had any recognition that these two things existed. And you're like, oh, okay, well there's more story to this. And the more that we go through the process of observing the consciousness, and this is what I'm going to call a past life is just the observation of consciousness that we have created the recognition on from some remembrance through an experience that we've created in this linear timeline that we're on. So sometimes we have to create the experience by picking it up in a book. Sometimes we create the experience in our dreams. Sometimes we create the experience in just a conversation with another. Sometimes we have it through a meditation, sometimes go to a psychic, and they open a door for you based on the way that you're showing up in life and certain aspects or traits about you. And then you go down that path. None of it's wrong. All of it is divinely created for you. Now, the trick is, is that when we get stuck and we say, you know what? I'm the next coming of something, and your ego gets into it, and you start to create separation off of it, that's when you've lost it. That's when you've lost the connection with whatever that life is that is informing you and allowing you to remember where you are now. So when we start to grab ego or to place ego on that past life, and that past life is now starting to define the person that we are in the fullness of ourselves. And we're no longer Sean, but we are that former Jesus or Buddha or whatever it might be. We are one not only desecrating the separateness that existed in order for us to unify, because you have to have the separateness, to have a recognition, to even unify in the first place, right? But you're also discounting who you are. You're discounting your whole self. And when you discount your whole self and you start to place that other entity as the better version of you, create a worse version of you, and then all that happens is the Shan version of me or the you version of you is now sitting in an inferior spot to something that we really don't know everything about. We have an intuition on it. We have a feeling. But the intuition and the feeling isn't the integration. You are the integrator here. Now your physical form, which you're experiencing is the integrator. So what that means is that you have to go through the process of a constant cycling and a constant integration to go deep. Love yourself. And in that depth, when you have this recognition of the other, the recognition of that being that is an awesome being that is a reflection of you, and that is your creation that also created you. And you build a relationship in unity and understanding and oneness. What will happen is you'll start to pull in a very beautiful knowing that is historically bound, that is tied to a very high vibration out of love. And that information will start to flow into you, and you'll be able to then start to integrate it in the physical form into the body that you're In. But don't get trapped in saying, okay, well, that's the only thing. Because every life on this earth is a connection to us. Every past life is a past life of ours. Every existence in humanity all the way back to Adam and Eve, all the way back into the creation of the universe is our creation. And so when we look at it from a full perspective of unification, but respect the fact that there is separation and that unification and the journey back into oneness is where the pleasure is built. The separation from that oneness is where a little bit of the pain comes. And it doesn't mean that the pain isn't necessary. The pain has to happen for the pleasure to exist. Otherwise you wouldn't want to know one out the other. Kind of, as we said earlier in this. But it's not getting trapped on one side or the other. It's creating that full balance and seeing all of the pain and the pleasure and the unity of it all as all of it. So if we can see the pain, the pleasure and the unity of it all, the heaven, the hell, and the unity of it all as the oneness, then we can say, well, the past lives, the future lives, and the present lives and all the trauma and all the pleasure and everything that existed in it is all also part of that oneness. And I'm gonna go down one more little lane in this complicated street and maze that we call life. When we get into the space of, like, past lives, most of us deal with it in, like, two different categories. There's one in this doorway of, like, generational trauma. And we're like, oh, I've got all this generational trauma, this family trauma, and I gotta deal with that. And that's my thing. You got an infinite amount of human existence trauma that comes along with that. It's like infinite. Whack a mole. Because everything is interconnected, right? So, like, the trauma that I have that's tied back to segregation, slavery, and being a black man and all this other stuff. Well, on the other side of that, there's a white man that has trauma that's tied to that side of it that actually created trauma with the black man that was my great grandfather on the other side and dealt with some. Who knows? And once you deal with one, then all of a sudden you get connected to another. You got to deal with that one. We never talk about past lives or pleasure. We never talk about, man, my generational pleasure was so damn good. We don't talk about that. I'm curious as to why. Why we don't go deep into this generational pleasure. We talk about generational trauma. We talk about the generational suffering. It's like the focus on that is so, like, unique. But we don't talk about, man, there's a lot of generational pleasure. Look how many kids you have in your family. We all are existing. There was a lot of sex that was going on. There was a lot of beauty that was going on. There was a lot of dancing. There was a lot of entertainment. There was a lot of joy. There were a lot of experiences that we just discount. And all that sunshine that has shined on our generations, all that sunshine that has shined on past lives. If we get into the past life trauma, we don't focus on that. We focus on the trauma. It's kind of nuts. I know we need to heal the trauma in order for the now to become present. But if we just focus on that in the other, what ends up happening? You see the whole package, and then you love the whole package because you're like, man, I wouldn't have the trauma without the pleasure. Because you couldn't have had the trauma if the pleasure didn't exist. So if we focus on both, or we love on both, then what ends up happening is you see this entire beauty of unity. And then on the other side of it, we never go into is our Future Life Trauma 1 or our future life pleasure. And we are doing a better job of that nowadays with this whole concept around manifesting and throwing things out there, because we know that we're becoming pretty much these awesome beings that can create anything. And we're remembering the God force that we are, but we're also not resolving the trauma before it comes, and then creating more expansive aspects of pleasure. And then even within that, seeing it all as this beautiful unity. And then you ask yourself, okay, well, if the trauma is going to come and the pain is going to come and the pleasure is going to come and all the other things, what's the point if I'm just going to be doing this anyway? Well, the point is, is not to get caught in the rhythm of the trauma. The the point is, is to evolve and elevate and increase the vibration into the rhythm of the pleasure. And it's not to be lost in the bliss, but it's to be able to integrate. Because the trauma's always going to be there, comes all the time. All right? You get somebody that remembers something about you, and then they just want to bring it to you and they want to kick your ass over it. And it's how you hold that state. It's how you love yourself. And you see it as this really beautiful unity. And you're able to not only hug them, but hug yourself, because you probably were the cause of some pretty shitty stuff. And when you're the cause of some pretty shitty stuff, but you can love it anyway, and then you can also show care and not indifference and love to the person that's bringing it to you. Then, at which point they might not like it because they want you to react the way that you're reacting. When you don't mirror that, it becomes frustrating. But when you're able to really surrender into that and you start to see the sunshine and you move through it in an elegant way, life becomes a lot more still and it becomes a lot more peaceful. And there's a massive shift in the hearts, in the minds, in the body, and the integration. And there's a ripple effect through time to where all the past lives, all the recognition that we have, starts to become unified in the way that we love ourselves. So I'd encourage you guys to never run away from your past lives. Don't get caught in the ego of it. But know that when you start to see them, you're on a path. You're on a path of remembrance. You're on a path to remember your wholeness of yourself and know that you right now are as great as that, that you are remembering. That's when these doors and these floodgates of blessings start to open up for you. Thank you again, and I love.
