Welcome to the Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy podcast. I'm your host, Sean Clayton, and my story's pretty interesting. Went through a ton of trauma, former incarceration, suicide attempts, sexual abuse in my life. And one of the things that's happened in my life is I've actually used hermetic principles, alchemy, all these really cool tools that we hear and we talk about the Illuminati, whatever you want to call it, and develop practices in order to change and affect my lives differently. So within this podcast, I will be giving tidbits and bites for individuals to be able to bite into on a daily basis. That will allow you to take baby steps to change your life. But at some point, you'll find the.
Door that starts to change the effect.
Of how you show up on a daily basis. Enjoy this, give feedback, come to my Instagram comment, whatever it might be, always open because we wouldn't be here without each other. Please enjoy and thank you, and I love you.
Thank you for joining me on Science of Abundance Daily Alchemy. And we're now in Weekly Alchemy. So I probably should change the name of this. This is gonna be a really interesting podcast going deeper on the concept of racism and spirituality. And last night I was watching this movie called Origins. Um, there was a. A lady on there, Isabel Wilkerson, I believe I'm getting the name right, wrote this book around the caste system, and she was given a project to. Well offered a project, Pulitzer Prize winning author and whatnot, on writing about the Trayvon Martin case. Listen to the tapes. And what was interesting about the case, it was a Hispanic man that ended up killing Trayvon because of some fear that he had around him being in the neighborhood. Right. I'm sure there's deeper aspects of it. And what that got me into, of course, for those of you that know me or that are getting to know me is I went really deeper within the aspect of how do I, Sean, fight and take total responsibility for these experiences. And as I was consuming this movie and going through it, and I, I was sitting with two amazing people, my fiance and a good friend of mine named Brian. Um, and it was like two blacks and a Jew go to a movie. It's what I call it. And the entry thing in the movie was this whole Hail Hitler thing. And I'm like, I didn't know what this movie was about when I went into it. And then it went into the Trayvon Martin deal, which really touched my fiance, Sophia, in an interesting way. And she was sad Then all of a sudden, Isabel's husband passes away. And as I was going through the process of witnessing all of this, you start to get these feelings, like, the empathy of you starts to roll through, and you're like, why is this happening? You know, you start to want to pull into those aspects of tears and sadness. And then in that, it's like, how do you. How do you contextualize that and find the beauty in it? Because she lost her mother in the same year, she lost her husband in the same year that she lost her cousin, while also going on this chase. And there were about three really deep messages in this film, but I'm gonna talk about one today, which was around how we learn to stand alone and understand the cast within ourselves in order to understand why we've created the caste system outside of us. So what she ended up finding out, or discovering not finding out, but discovering her unpacking, was that when you look at what happened in Germany around the Holocaust and whatnot, it wasn't racism. They called the Jews a different race, but they're all the same race. They're all literally, you know, the same color. They look very similar. It's interesting, you know, having to then go and figure out who was and wasn't, you know, type of thing. And then you go to India, and all the Indians are the same race. But then they kind of like, figured out ways to sit individuals in these lower. These lower tiers. And through that process of the caste system, she figured out that there were ways to construct this legally to where you would put individuals not as a lesser version of humanity, but just more so in this tiered structure, so that legally they couldn't get to the same state that other individuals were at. And it's almost like first mover advantage. Uh, and we did the same thing here in America with many different races, but predominantly the African American race and the black race, we call it race because it's very clear distinctions and lines of the way that it shows up. Um, but even if you look at the white communities, they've cast certain individuals that talk a specific way. Um, they set them in trailer parks. There's ways that they work to keep certain aspects of inbreeding in a very specific way so that those with disabilities don't really have the same rights or opportunities. Even where a parent would send their student around, these aspects of disabilities would end up being in, like, a very specific community. So therefore, they created the communities that created these pockets and opportunities for individuals to go to that drafted the more with that disability into that group, therefore creating these different environments. So if you look at that within the lens of spirituality and you say, okay, well, there really is really not a racist thing. It's more of a cast thing to be able to then take individuals and then kind of cast them through different aspects of this structure that's being built. And what we've done as humans, especially here in America, is we've sensationalized the concept of racism. We've taken racism and made it this, like, really big, massive, kind of, like, scary thing. And in making it this, like, really big, massive, scary thing, we forgot that there's this really delicate legal structure that once you break that legal structure, the entire caste system falls apart. But it's being able to look back at the past with true objectivity of, like, why it was created. The cause of the creation, not the effect of the creation. So now we get into the aspect here we go with the spiritual walk into karma around cause and effect, right? So then we get into the world of cause and effect, and we start looking at it through this very specific lens of what was the cause of racism, what was the cause of, you know, what was happening in India, or the cause of the Holocaust or anything along those lines. What you end up looking at is the fact that it had nothing to do with the actual effect, which looks like a bunch of fear and anxiety and greed. And there is fear associated with why it was even created. But the cause of it is this legal structure that ends up setting individuals into these buckets or these pockets to where they couldn't move out of them. So you look at the black communities and the things around, you know, gerrymandering and the way that the political system is structured and how individuals show up in that, it's very much so architected. So people have to, like, learn a different way, think a different way, feed a different way. Their food is different. Everything is different. They did the same thing with the Jewish community in. In Germany. And when they did the same thing, they started to stratify them. And then one of the things they did is they just said, okay, now you're going to go to these camps. And in those camps, we're going to make sure that you're very much so outlined and shave your heads and do the whole night. So now you've got these different apparatuses and structures that are built so that the first mover advantage and those that can, like, take that initial leap end up creating these apparatuses around it. What Isabel figured out inside of this structure was that the like. Like these initial laws that were all written in order to keep slaves enslaved here in America was the same structure that was built over in Germany, you know, for the Holocaust. And then they built that same structure in other areas of the world so that people would sit at these lower levels. So now how does that relate? From a total responsibility within cell within self. What is a part of you that you have set in a lower tier within self that you're not paying attention to, that you say, you know, it's really not that important. I was looking at my feet yesterday, just as a simple example. I don't take the same care of my feet as I do my face. I don't take the same care of, you know, other parts of my body. It's like the guys that work out the upper body and don't work out the legs. There's an imbalance there. So if you're not taking care of those, what ends up happening? And I even had a thing with my teeth recently where I was just taking my teeth for granted. And in that, what ended up happening is they started to had to get some teeth worked and had a couple cavities and a couple other things. And it's not paying attention to that which is serving you in a way that makes you whole. So all of my teeth, my feet, the whole thing is the thing that makes me whole. I see so many individuals in my family specifically that have really bad feet. I'm like, okay, I really gotta start thinking about this differently. And I have to put a similar time and attention and effort toward all the different aspects of my body that are showing up differently in the world. So we've even created these caste systems within ourselves where we don't think about, like, our gut health, we don't think about our heart health. We don't think about what we're breathing. We don't think about, you know, little things, you know, like your eyes. And making sure that those things are taken care of. It doesn't mean that you ever go to the doctor all the time. It's just placing an intention on preventative maintenance, preventative care. Making sure that you're thinking about what those areas of your body look like. Then when you take that little bit further into an aspect of the esoteric world, is that as above, so below, as what's within? So without, what I start to recognize is the more that I take care of me, the world more, the world will show up differently. And there's a magic in that because it's not necessarily A linear process. And what we get caught in as human beings is the fact that we look at it and we say, okay, everything has to be linear and everything has to be on the straight line. What is the true, like, one to one, cause and effect. The cause and effect is not a linear process. The cause and effect is many different possibilities off of that initial intention that was set. But it's how you feel about the intention that you set. So now, when you think about that, how do I feel about when I start taking care of certain aspects of my body? Am I doing it out of guilt or am I doing it out of love? How do I feel when I start to do something for myself? Am I doing it out of guilt or out of fear because I see somebody else doing it? Am I in the whole FOMO land? Like, we've created these sensational terms so that we start to chase after these aspects of fear. But it should be something within yourself that it's like, hey, I'm doing this very much so specifically out of love of me and to benefit others. So one of the exercises that I go through is that anytime that I look at how something benefits myself, is it benefiting other individuals? Am I doing it because I'm afraid that I'm going to lose out on something, or am I doing it because I am really sitting here in a state of wholeness and worthiness of me that is also going to transcend to the wholeness, holiness, and worthiness of others. There's going to be times that you slip up. There's going to be times that you make a mistake. It's catching that mistake going back and then applying gratitude and love toward it that allows those aspects to shift. Now, take that back into what Isabel was talking about. What she was saying is that there's a lot of history that we have, and most of us, like, over in Germany, they've, like, paved over, really, any recognition of what took place within that space. Right? Like there was a scene in the movie where it's talking about, you know, you can't have a swastika out. You can't have all these other areas show up. You get criminally fined or in prison because of it. Now, here in America, it's a total opposite. We actually have the Confederate flag on a flag in one of our 50 states, right? We have statues and memorials and this. That free speech, so people can do whatever they want. And it has created a space to where we continue to show it until we start to love it. And those individuals that show up in those spaces that say, hey, I'm going to be in some kind of racist group, or I'm going to go and do a civil war reenactment and go down that path. It's okay. It's when we, as the. I guess we call it opposite of that, or the people that were impacted by that back then start to react as if we were still back then. We now bring that trauma into the now. And instead of us going and healing it, and the person that has to heal it is the one that has to receive it. So the only reason that you were ever hurt is the sort of simple fact for you to be able to receive what's coming at you and to become an alchemist in your life, to take that experience, move it through your heart. So start to feel the feeling that you feel. Understand that feeling is an illusion. Understand that that feeling is something that's mapping you back into some other version that has been historically concretized as sickness or sadness or whatever it might be, but now accelerating it into a space of saying, you know, I don't have to feel that way about it anymore. If I feel it in my stomach, it means something. If I feel it in my sacral, it means something. If I feel it in my throat, it means something. If I'm not feeling it in my heart, it also means something. It. How can I move those feelings into my heart? How can I start to shift that feeling and not put a name to it, but start to put a feeling to it and then start to create the opportunity to move it into those areas? There's a reason that somatic therapy, it's really starting to kick off. It's where are you feeling it? Where are you storing it? Because the body does keep score, but the score that it's keeping, what we've done is we've created a linear understanding of that score to say it means this specific thing because the world's told me it means that. No, it doesn't mean that specific thing. What now has to happen is, is that we can look at that specific scorekeeping that we've been doing and say, okay, what are all of the other possibilities? Because we're going to move this into a curve instead of moving it into a straight line. And so they say the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. This is somewhat true, but it's also a trap. Because the shortest point doesn't necessarily mean that it's the point that's most intentful of your heart. You have to be able to explore and you have to be able to figure out, is that what it means? Is that what it means? And then once you don't overthink it, but you start feeling healing, what it means, and you find that resonance and that rhythm that is truly within your heart, it starts to balance out. Because we are the thing that's going to change the world, then what will start to happen is the output that will happen on the other side of that or the healing that will happen in that instant. State of wholeness and worthiness will start to shift the dynamic of how things continue to show up in life. I use one of one other example. This is a really simple one. You know, back in school when you used to get bullied, you know, and I used to get bullied a lot. Whenever I'd fight back, it'd make it worse, right? Whenever I kind of like surrendered to it or played dead or whatever it might be is what I called it and got away from it, they left me alone. Nobody wants to pick on something that isn't responding. They only pick on it responding because there's something in them that they're looking to try to, like, figure out for themselves. And so when we start to go through the process, which is why they call surrendering, when you back away from it. And the thing, it's not about giving the person the power, even though the illusion of it is that they do have the power, they're going to start to course correct themselves. But you apply a loving energy on it. So it means to be aware and be strong, and it means to create boundaries and protections for yourself. But it also means that you don't fight. This world wasn't meant to go through the process of fighting. What it was meant to go through the process of is being able to accept, receive, stand in an aspect of peace, but then move that into an area where you can then be so intentional with the energy in your body of your field, of how that shows up in life that you don't have to move into a state of violence or frustration or any of those things. You move into a state of wholeness so that you can create that safety from within. And then it. And then what ends up happening is the illusion shows up outside of you. So this is how to understand the cast within ourselves, the things that we haven't paid attention to within us. Now, what I'm going to do on future episodes is talk a little bit more about the other areas of the cast that she was talking about in the book, Isabel. And once we have the understanding of what that specifically looks like, we can start to break through those different areas because really, what she gave us is a map of how it shows up within us. And once we have the ability to love those different aspects of ourselves and start to create that healing and that wholeness off of this very delicate structure that society is used in order to push toward the agenda of racism or caste systems, we can then obviously start to use it as a recognition or reflection of how we start loving ourselves differently. I appreciate you guys for tuning in. Thank you so much for listening and I love you.
