Fights don't strengthen relationships. Mature couples have calm discussions instead, even when emotions run high, by avoiding yelling and blame. Frequent fights signal an immature communication style.
Misconception, especially in the relationship world, is that people think that fights are normal. They're normalized on social media, through movies, etc. Fights are not normal. Fights mean that you are immature in your ability to communicate with a person. And so what mature couples do is they have discussions. They might be hard, you might be sweating, you might be nervous, you might be pissed, but they're discussions. They're not fights. You don't raise your voice, you don't yell and scream, you don't point the blame. You take responsibility for your side and then you have a productive discussion because fights don't strengthen the relationship, discussions do.
