In this video, Shanli Liu, CPA, CTP explains a sales tactic that combines handwritten invitation cards with in‑person or virtual customer events. The speaker advises sending a personalized handwritten card to each client, inviting them to a quarterly or semi‑annual event. A crucial element is a postscript (P.S.) that asks the recipient to photograph the card and text it to a friend, allowing that friend to attend as a plus‑one. Optionally, a three‑way text with the host can pre‑identify the guest. This approach consistently generates a high proportion (30‑50%) of attendees who are friends or plus‑ones, turning them into warm leads who are far more likely to engage and purchase after meeting the host in person.
