Comfort is what stops you from the life you actually want. The gap between where you are and where you want to be exists because comfort feels safer than the discomfort of learning, failing, and feeling inadequate. Real growth means paying that price.
Comfort is the silent killer. Every big decision in life comes down to it. The life you want versus the comfort you have. And the painful reality of it is that that discomfort never ends as long as you're continually challenging yourself. And so as long as you want to keep growing, you have to get comfortable in the fact that you will always feel like you're losing. You will always feel like you're not enough, and you will always feel like you have skills that you lack because you do. And so most people pick comfort, but your dreams live on the other side of discomfort if you're willing to pay that price and go through it.
