Your Family Survival Guide: Your family isn’t changing—but your experience can.

In this 30‑40 minute live masterclass, Jefferson Fisher walks participants through a step‑by‑step framework for navigating holiday family gatherings without emotional burnout. He begins by urging attendees to set realistic expectations: surface‑level conversations are fine, you won’t fix decades of family dysfunction in one evening, and you’ll inevitably encounter triggering remarks. He then guides participants to prepare before the event by writing down non‑negotiable topics, identifying the two family members most likely to provoke strong reactions, establishing time boundaries, and planning concrete exit strategies (both physical and conversational). During the gathering, Fisher teaches three core communication tactics: (1) “acknowledge without agreeing” – reflect the other person’s underlying value (“I can tell security is important to you”) to defuse conflict; (2) “be a broken record” – calmly repeat your boundary; (3) “strategic neutral responses” – short, non‑committal phrases like “noted” or “thanks for sharing.” He applies these tactics to common holiday challenges such as sensitive topics (politics, religion, personal life decisions), passive‑aggressive remarks, unwanted advice, and grief. He emphasizes self‑care: using breath, stepping outside, and maintaining perspective that you are an individual separate from the family drama. Finally, Fisher promotes his supporting resources – a downloadable PDF workbook, a companion book, and a custom AI assistant (jefferson.ai) that can provide real‑time advice based on his entire body of work. He closes by offering a replay, free AI trial, and invites participants to join his membership for ongoing practice.

Hey everybody, hello! Welcome to the Holiday Family Survival Guide Masterclass. I am so thrilled to have you, uh, because believe it or not, I do get out of my car every once in a while. And so this chance to say something that's going to help your holiday conversations is very meaningful to me. So I It's not lost on me that you have chosen to spend a little bit of time with me. And I want you to just take a second to appreciate what you're doing. And that is you are choosing to invest in your communication. You're choosing to invest in a better peace of mind, a better reframe for how you're going to handle yourself. This holiday season. If you would, in the comments section, just tell me where you're from. Just tell me where you're from. Tell me where you're from. Okay, I see a lot of California. I saw somebody— Oklahoma, Israel, all over the place. Luxembourg, UK. That's incredible. Sweden. All right, appreciate that everybody in here. And just keep reading the comments of where everybody is from. We are way more similar than we are different. It doesn't matter what continent, it doesn't matter what country, we are all dealing with the same type of struggles, the same thing, right? So if you're like me and you have some coffee— I have some coffee right here— just enjoy a hot beverage and settle in with me because we're going on about 30-40 minutes of something that's going to really make a difference. And that makes me really excited. I want to go ahead and share my screen with you. Also, anytime something resonates with you, put it in the chat because I promise you it resonates with somebody else. And when we can see and remind ourselves that, hey, we're not alone in this little bubble, this time that we have together, we're not alone. Powerful things can happen. So this is not one of those where, hey, this is a class, you have to be quiet. No, no, I encourage you, use the chat. It's there for a reason. All right, look at this, look at these slides. That's some wonderful help by Kelly making these slides. Uh, shout out to Kelly, she's amazing and fantastic. All right, let me make sure. I want to see if this is going to look better. Yeah, I think this is what I'm going to go with. Yeah, I'm really live. I wonder, you thought I wasn't gonna be live? This is as live as can be. Okay, holiday family survival guide. I want to tell you where we are headed. Number one, I'm going to be talking about what to do before you walk in the door, while you're with them, like when you're, when you're there at the gathering, at the dinner, at the thing, And 3, I want to address some specific scenarios. And if you also want the chance to talk with me one-on-one, I encourage you to stay for the end. I have some exciting stuff to announce. Also, give me a second. This is how live it is. I'm freezing in here. I'm going to turn on my heater. Thank you. All right, my hands are like freezing. I was like, oh my gosh. All right, see, we just roll with it. All right, where we're headed before we walk in the door, while you're with them addressing specific concerns. There's something I want you to know, one thing up front, all right? Accept this one thing up front, all right? Also, I'm going to be encouraging you to write some things down, type some things down. So if you're watching this on a desktop go ahead and open up a Word document or something. Or maybe you're like me and you just like the old pad and pen, you want something tangible, get that out too. Because we're going to be talking about some stuff that when you write it down, it helps the memory, helps it sink in. All right, I'm not gonna— and I'm gonna ask you right now something important. At first, accept this one thing up front. You ready? Some conversations deserve surface level And that's okay. That's okay. Some conversations deserve surface level, and that's okay. I want you to write in the chat, surface level is okay. Surface level, it's okay. You're not there to have all these deep, meaningful conversations. If you want deep conversations with people, it's probably not going to be at that holiday gathering. It's probably not going to be when the house is crowded. With all your family members and you're trying to cook breakfast for everybody, or you're trying to make sure everybody's happy and do they have all the things that they need. That's not going to happen. It's not going to happen then, and that's okay. Two, people will say things that bother you. Not maybe, they will. They absolutely are going to say things that bother you. Be prepared for that. Three, You won't fix decades of family dysfunction over a once-a-year get-together. I put this in here because I want you to have this acceptance of what is. What is it? Rather than dreaming and hoping of what it could be. Because don't get me wrong, we all know deep down what we wish it could be. But we could see deep down, man, you could really have a deep meaningful discussion with people. To be able to have real— anybody else have holiday family gatherings where nobody's— you feel like nobody's real? They're just kind of skirting around the truth. They're leaving the, what they call, the elephant in the room. We're not going to bring this up because, hey, we're all just trying to get together. And, and I understand there's a time and place for that, but it also prevents you from just being real. You will not fix decades of dysfunction over a once-a-year get-together. It's not going to happen. It is not going to happen. All right, accept that. Write it down. It is not going to happen. If it does, amazing, I love it. But, and if it does, you can email me and say, Jefferson, you were wrong. You know what, I fixed decades of our family generational dysfunction and trauma over a once-a-year get-together at dinner over grandmother's stuffing. All right? If that's the case, then you know what? I will gladly be called wrong on that. All right. Before you walk in the door, before you walk in the door. So, here is where I want us to do some work. Over not just expecting or assuming things are going to go our way, thinking that things are just going to be better magically. I want you to accept some things, and I want you to go ahead and expect some things. This is what I mean. I want you to write out your non-negotiables. This is before you are ever even getting there. So what are your non-negotiables, right? Your non-negotiables are the things that you go, I'm absolutely not going to discuss. What are the topics of the conversations you're not going to discuss? So on one column, I want you to write non-negotiables and write that out. If you feel so led, go ahead and share some. With everybody. What are the non-negotiables that you're saying, hey, look, I don't care what happens in my world, these are my non-negotiables? I'm not going to talk about finances. I'm not going to talk about politics. I'm not going to talk about that thing. I'm not going to mention this. I refuse to put myself in this kind of situation. I'm not going to be around my ex. I'm not going to get involved in this. Whatever you go, uh-uh, no. Absolutely not. Write that down. You need to know it. You need to know it. Another that I want you to write in this column— it's not on the slide— but is I want you to write the top 2 people. If it's just one, fine, but write the top 2 people who will most likely are going to get under your skin. You're the top 2 offenders, most likely. List them by name. Is it Michael? Is it Brandon? Is it Cynthia? Is it, uh, Karen? Is it Lauren? Whatever it is, you need to have them in your mind. What I am instilling in you right now is no surprises. No surprises. When I go into trial, people think that in TV drama that in courtroom there's all these big surprises where they go, aha, I have the piece of evidence, and everybody goes, oh, this is a magical piece of evidence. That's not the way the real world works. The real world works— we, the attorneys, know all the evidence. In fact, you can't bring up evidence that's a surprise. Not allowed. I know all of your facts, you know all of my facts. And you know what that does? It helps us eliminate the emotions. There is nothing worse than being caught by surprise of something you did not expect. Somebody saying something that took you by surprise. And it is— to me, there's nothing worse than it's just a surprise. There's some people, you know, I know some people who hate surprises. Are you one of those? You hate surprises. You don't like them. I want to know all the facts. I want to, I want to have all the control. I want to know everything. There's nothing wrong with that. Just note, we get surprised all the time by what people say. And so what I'm trying to help eliminate with your non-negotiables is knowing most likely who's going to be saying them. The more you can expect from them, the better it's going to be for you. I'm using this different, like, PowerPoint thing, and so I'm figuring that out. 2, your time boundaries. In a different column, I want you to write down how long are you going to be there. How long are you going to be there? Is it just a meal? Is it over a weekend? Is it just one day? You have to write down your time boundaries. If you don't have a stop date on it, then it's gonna— should be no surprise to you if it lasts way longer than you wanted to. So you need to have your time boundaries. Your time boundaries. I— what I find in a lot of people that I help in conversation is the boundary for time is when you feel like it. There's no requirement that it be 30 minutes. There's no requirement of that. It can just be after the meal is done. I mean, you can share the meal, then it's been great to see you. I got, I got some stuff I need to knock out, need to head home. Whatever it is, you got to keep to the time boundary for yourself. And number 3, I want you to write out your exits. Your exits. Now, I don't just mean physical exits. Though that is helpful. No, hey, if this happens, I'm going to be getting up to go get something to drink or the restroom or get some fresh air or go for a walk. Believe it or not, a great way over the holidays is saying, I'm gonna go take a walk. Anybody want to come with me? Grab the person who you like the most and go for a quick walk. It's good to get some fresh air, to get out. You do not want to find yourself— the point in all this is you don't want to find yourself surprised or cornered or pressured in a conversation that you are not ready for because you didn't think about it. All right, so I'm not doing my job to help us and help you if I'm not saying you need to have an incredible amount of awareness for any family dynamic of where are the potholes. You think of people that are going on long journeys, people on marathons, people that are traveling long distances, you map it out. You have to know where you're going. You have to know where the pit stops are. I, I need to know. It's not good for me to drive 9 hours non-stop, right? I need to know where I'm going to be going, where I'm going to be taking my rest. Where are you going to be resting in this holiday dynamic with your family? Where is your moment of rest? Where is your moment where you are actually going to, to slow it down? 2, while you're with them when you're with the people, your family. One, acknowledge without agreeing. This is probably one that I find is most helpful when somebody is trying to raise a different opinion that is not yours. And I want you to put in the chat, what is the number one topic that you know somebody's going to be disagreeing with you in this holiday season. You know that there's going to be somebody there that you're saying, I know they're going to bring up this. For me, it's my grandfather talking about politics. That's what's going to happen. Can't help it, can't help it. And you know what? I have to choose to love him anyway. That— we're going to be talking about that at the end. I'm going to choose to love him anyway. That's not why I'm there. Now, I know that Sometimes we have a different view on things, a lot of things, and that's a good thing because different opinions is what we want. I want you to keep in mind that nobody thinks that they're on the side of wrong. So when somebody has an opinion that you don't agree with, remember, they, they are just as convinced that they're right as you are. So if you try and fight that, congratulations, you're going to ruin the holiday. But if you can acknowledge without agreeing, well, that's, that's mastery. That's, that's using your words in a way that is going to commit to the relationship in the moment, in your presence and your peace, rather than getting sucked into something that is not going to serve you and going to be a bad memory for many years to come. So in this masterclass, we're all about preventing the bad memories. Right, let's not have those. How do you acknowledge without agreeing? This might help you to write this down, or you can feel free to write it in the comments. Whenever somebody says something that you don't agree with, all you need to say is, I can tell blank is important to you, or sounds like blank is important to you. And in the blank, you put the category of what you're talking about, not their specific opinion, the category, right? So for me and my family, rather than me saying, you know, sounds like the tax structure of America, you know, is important, instead of that, it's, I can tell that security is important to you. I can tell that the economy is important to you. I, um, whatever it is in your life, I can tell that my kids are important to you. I can tell that my, my health is important to you. Whenever you stop trying to fight the micro and agree on the macro, magical things happen. Because as soon as you say that, as soon as you say that, you know, I can tell, you know, it sounds like, it sounds like that's really important to you. The other person goes, yeah, yeah, it is important to me. And, you know, and all of a sudden they start to just kind of ease off of that opinion because you've acknowledged them. Deep down, everybody just has a desire to be heard, acknowledged, understood, and safe. Feel free to write that list down. I want you to consider that for the two people that you've listed. Everybody deep down has a desire to be heard, acknowledged, understood, and safe. Same goes for them, same goes for you. So how can you, how can you do that? Acknowledge without having to agree. I don't have to— that you want to know a key to unlock some of this? I don't have to agree with you to understand you. I don't have to agree with you to understand you. When you can sink that down and say, I'm I have something to learn, not something to prove in this moment. That's the kind of stuff that you go, I'm elevating to a new game. I'm elevating to a new game. That kind of stuff is, um, it just gets me so pumped. All right, so not only acknowledge without agreeing, be a broken record. Be a broken record, meaning feel free to repeat the boundary, repeat what what you need to say. Nobody can force you to say something else. So once you put out what you need to say of, you know what, that's not something I talk about— they mention it again, feel free— that's not something I talk about. Have no shame in being a broken record, whether it's okay or thank you or noted, any of those kind of things. Don't be afraid to be a broken record, meaning continue to repeat Continue to repeat. What are you doing when you repeat? You are emphasizing, you are solidifying, you're cementing that I am not going to be moved. I know where I'm at. I'm going to be controlled. I'm not going to trigger my fight or flight, and I'm going to be exactly where I need to be. 3, I want you to strategically respond. Jefferson, what do you mean by that? I mean, I want you to consider neutral phrases. Neutral phrases. Those are your best friend when it comes to talking with, sitting by, being around someone that you know just likes to throw haymakers, just somebody who always wants to stir stuff up. Neutral statements are ones that you can't do anything with, like, noted. That's interesting. Thanks for sharing. Got it. Thank you. Sometimes the best strategic response is actually a nonverbal, like, mm-hmm. You get what I mean? Nobody can do anything with it. Nobody can do anything with it. And that's the point. You're acknowledging what they said. You're not afraid to be a broken record and you can strategically respond. I mean, you're thinking in your mind of, I see where this is going. Why? Because I prepared for this. Why? They're going exactly where I thought they would. And now I can respond by cutting off the oxygen, being able to say, got it, understood, thanks for sharing. Anything that's just going to cut it off because they can't do anything with it. But as soon as you go, are you kidding me? You really think that? Boom, you're gone. Ruined holiday. As soon as you start to say, uh, excuse me, let me get this straight— boom, ruined holiday. Now, I'm not saying at all that it's you who's ruining it. That's— I'm speaking metaphorically of there's a difference of knowing we're going to go into a fight and this is going to be a thing, or it's not. Because I get emails and emails and messages from people who say And even in my membership, I get people on the Q&A who say, I haven't spoken to my daughter in 2 years because at a holiday event we had a bad blowup. I said things I shouldn't have, she said things that she shouldn't have, and before we know it, it's been, it's been years and we haven't spoken. And we— I don't know what to do with that, Jefferson. Most of the time it's because what I'm teaching you right now was not followed. So if you can take what I'm trying to give you to heart, you can save a lot of pain. When you can— I'm not saying expect the worst, I'm saying equip yourself for all the possible scenarios of what is most likely. If they don't bring up that sensitive topic, great. Fantastic. But most likely they will. If you're not prepared for it, then you're going to be in your mind worried about it. And what happens when you're worried about it? Well, then you're anxious about it. What happens when you're anxious about it? You're not yourself. You start looking around for all the doors. You're not really wanting to be there. If you can control yourself and feel confident in that moment, then things are going to go a whole lot better for you. Every single time. So strategically respond. How to handle some specific scenarios. I told you we're going to fly through this. How to respond to sensitive topics. Anybody have that family member who always likes to ask this sensitive question? What topic is the sensitive one for you? Maybe it's politics, religion, maybe it's Are you gonna have— when are you gonna have kids? Maybe you and your partner or your spouse going through a divorce and nobody's really wanting to talk about it. Maybe it's something around your kids. These topics that you go, I really don't want to say anything about, you know, how do I— how do I address this? How do I shut this down? Well, I want you to understand that nothing's going to be as sensitive to anybody else as it is to you. I have things that I'm sensitive about. That doesn't mean I'm weak. It doesn't mean you're weak. It doesn't mean something's wrong with me. It means you're human. Everybody has something that we are more sensitive about, and it typically has to do with inner values that we have. If maybe your sensitive topic is what you do for a living, maybe your job in your mind isn't as important maybe as your siblings, and so you feel like you're insecure a little bit about that. The sensitivities are also related to insecurities. They might be related to opinions that you have that you don't really want to share, that somebody else is trying to push on to you. Whenever you get those kind of sensitive topics, what I would very strongly encourage you to do is be able to quickly say, that's not something I talk about. That's not something I talk about. Oh, I'm— I decided I'm going to be politic— politics-free this holiday. You see how you're making like a— I promise myself I'm going to be XYZ free this holiday. If you find that somebody's continuing to press on the sensitive buttons, stay firm on it. They ask you of, you know, when you're going to have kids— that's a decision for me. That's not something I talk about. Something playful that I like is I, I like to keep a little mystery. Something that is wanting to in no way try to push them away, because sometimes I, I want to give some grace to the people who don't know it's a sensitive topic. Most likely the other person does. Let me just go ahead and say that, especially if it's the top 2 people that you know that this is what they're going to bring up. But if you already know, you can cut it off and say, that's nothing I'm not going to discuss. I'm not going there. I'm not going there. Feel free to take any one of these responses. I'm not going there. One of my— not going there is one of my favorites. It's also a time that I want to mention, um, a lot of people have grief over where they've either lost somebody, whether they're going through a hard time and you don't really know what to say. I want to first tell you that that's normal for you to not know what to say when somebody's having a really hard time. What I would encourage you to not say— listen to me— to not say is, "Let me know if..." If your words begin with "let me know if," let me know if there's anything I can do. Let me know if you need anything. It's the wrong thing to say because all you're doing, you're just giving them a chore. You're just giving them a chore. You are expecting them in some of the worst times to have the effort and really the, the within themselves enough to— enough battery to reach out for help and ask something of you and expect them to not to feel like they're inconveniencing you. That's impossible. That's impossible. So instead of the 'let me know if you need anything,' just do the thing. Go do the thing. Help them. You don't have to ask for anything. That's it. Or if you need to say anything, you need to agree with their pain. Rather than saying, oh, at least he's, you know, he/she is in a better place. That's not the time. That's not the time. It's, nobody deserves what you've been going through. It's, it's absolutely unfair about what happened. I just want to let you know I think about you all the time. See how that hits different? Or if you're actually wanting to have thoughts or prayers for somebody, text them. Text them the thought. Text them your prayer rather than just saying that. All right, sensitive topics. Passive aggressiveness. Anybody— let me know if you do in the chat— anybody have somebody in their family that's passive aggressive? Anybody has somebody who's passive-aggressive? I can tell you I do. I do. I, I find that most of my comments and messages are passive-aggressive mothers or grandmothers or mother-in-laws. A lot of mother-in-laws, actually. You know, what do you, what do you do with that when somebody is just being passive-aggressive? I'm going to tell you what is it. It is them not knowing how to use their words, and they would much rather skirt around the truth and just expect you to read their mind because they feel better kind of being the victim. They want that feeling of victim mentality so that they kind of— you feel almost bad for them in a way so that they feel better. All right, instead of that, I want you to begin your sentence, your response, with either 'sounds like' or 'seems like.' And it goes like this: 'Sounds like there's something more to that. Seems like you have something else you're not saying.' Or you can ask, 'Should I, should I read into that?' And watch what they do. Now all of a sudden, the passive aggressiveness will almost break. It's like a Fever is broken. Should I, should I read into that? Or, you know what, depending on the person, you might just say, hey, are you feeling okay? Check on them. You feeling okay? Whenever you feel that somebody is being passive-aggressive, understand that deep down it's that desire to be understood. And they're not being understood, so they're having to be passive about it. And passive aggressiveness is nothing you're going to change from them, right? That's something that they learned in childhood. That's something that they've done most likely their entire life. And so rather than, than them addressing the issue head-on, they would rather be passive aggressive towards you in hopes that you figure it out and then blame you if you don't, right? Sounds like there's more to that. It's worked for me a lot. Unwanted advice. I am not the only one— tell me I'm not the only one— that gets unwanted advice around here. Of, in the holidays in particular, you might have somebody who is typically a parent who is expecting you to do something like they do. Maybe you're not raising your kids how they would want you to raise your kids. Maybe you're— you didn't make the, you know, the mashed potatoes how they would mash the potatoes. I've had it before where somebody didn't stir, all right, they didn't stir the mac and cheese like they would stir the mac and cheese. I'm not kidding, all right. It is this underlying sense of control that they had. And usually it's the parents. What do you do with that? What do you do with unwanted advice? You're not gonna like what I had to tell you, and it's this: you have to be able to separate unwanted advice from love and care. So you have to recognize that they wouldn't say it if they didn't care about it. Why do they want it? Most likely because they care about you. About what you're doing in life, deep down, it's— there's a lot of love and care for you. You might say, 'Jarrison, this doesn't apply to me.' That's fine. But for a lot of people, it's the parent who— and there might be parents on this right now who they don't approve of what their child is doing, adult child, and they want to help in some way, but they don't know how. Let me tell you, the, the harder you push the harder they resist. So by trying to complain or trying to push or trying to tell them how they should be, usually it's not going to go that way. People aren't going to listen unless it's wanted. And that's only going to happen through wanting to better understand them. So if you're getting unwanted advice, what I would encourage you is use the same tool that we talked about just a minute ago. You're acknowledging without agreeing. Acknowledging without agreeing. Sounds like that's really important to you. Sounds like you got a lot of thoughts on this, Dad. Sounds like you, you know, really have a way of doing this, Mom. Sounds like you have some strong opinions. Anytime you say things like that, you say, I'm not agreeing with them, I'm not being defensive. I'm not trying to call them out. I'm just simply reflecting how I interpreted it. Then all of a sudden, things start to change. And again, it's not on you, it's now on them. And it's because everybody is trying to be on the, the same page. Everybody's trying to be on the same page. All right. I want you to look at that paper that I just gave you, or that you've been writing down, and I want you to see this as an action plan. Write an action plan at the top of it. This is your holiday action plan. What did we talk about? It is understanding and accepting and expecting what I'm about to go into, who's all going to be there, what are they going to talk about, and what buttons are going to be pushed. Again, that goes to the second issue is why is there a button? What do you find to be the topics that set you off? And whatever those are, write them down and note those are your areas, those are your non-negotiables. Those are your non-negotiables. You're not going to fix decades of dysfunction over 40 minutes while the TV's on and while the kitchen is loud and while everybody is up and going and wanting to do their own thing. And you have that one cousin who's only talking about themselves, and then you have that other cousin who's kind of weird and you really don't know anything about their life. And then might be some cousins you never even know exist. And there's all of a sudden the uncle has his opinions and it just feels like mayhem all the while. Christmas music is playing in the background, and you go, this just feels like chaos. Take a breather. Use your breath. In my, in my content, my membership, I stress so much on using your, your breath. Your breath. Go outside, take a beat, take a minute. Go outside and look up. Physically go outside and look up. Remind yourself that there is more to life than what is going on in that room. Remind yourself that you have a life, individual and separate from everybody else in that room. Even, even if I'm talking even husband, wife, kids— yes, you're connected with them, but you also are an individual, okay, with individual needs. So address that. Go outside, take a breath, and look up. I want you to have perspective of what am I doing here. What's, what's my point in all this? What's the purpose? Why did I agree to come here? All right, you have to be able to have that kind of high-level mentality when it comes to high-level communication. When it's those, what, what do I do in these hard, harsh responses, I want you to remember those responses that feel most natural to you. As long as you are agreeing— excuse me, you're acknowledging without agreeing. If you are beginning with 'sounds like,' 'seems like,' which is reflecting what they want. If you were to say— somebody brings up something like politics and you go, 'You know, I'd rather talk about you. I'd rather talk about you.' I find that goes really well for me in my personal life because everybody wants to talk about themselves. And so it allows you to kind of simply get out of that. The pivots are really good. The pivots are really good. All right, I want to make sure that we keep it at a, at a tight time frame. I would love if right now in the comments that you write down at least one thing that you took away from this, one thing that you took away from our time right now. And don't, don't leave yet unless you need to, then no problem, thanks for coming. I want you to solidify this kind of stuff in your mind Because without it, you are sure to create pain for yourself and others. That's how physical communication is. Communication is not just simply this mysterious atmosphere all around. It is also very physical. I'm seeing a lot of these: understand, accept, expect. Oh, that's a good one. I really like Understand, accept, and expect. Hmm, I might get that. I don't have a tattoo. Maybe I should get a tattoo of that just like right here. I'm kidding, Sierra. I'm not going to be doing that. All right. Anytime you have this, I want you to come back, right? What we're going to do, Kelly and I are going to turn a lot of my slides into like a guide PDF for you to have, and I'm going to put out places where you can use this kind of as a, a workbook. I didn't want to do that before because I wanted you to be able to have this like raw, for you to be able to kind of put your hands on it, mark it up however it's going to be best for you. It's something that's very important to me, very important to me. All right, you ready? Something I want to mention that I'm very excited about, very, very excited about. Been working a long time on this, um, and it's this. Can you see that? If you want one-on-one advice from me in real time, there's something that I want to share with you, right? It is my AI. You go, Jefferson, I don't know about AI. Listen to me. This AI that I've been working on for many, many, many, many months It has every one of my videos. It has my entire book. It has so much of my content, my podcast, my interviews, of all of my advice. And so if you are ever going, "Hey, I wanna know what this is like. Jeff Lerner, how do I address this in the moment?" I can help you right in that moment. Rather than you trying to pull up that video, it's right there. It interacts with you. The AI asks you questions that's gonna help give you a different perspective on things. I want to highlight a few things on it. And it's— you can have me with you in every conversation. It's— oh, the best thing about it is you can actually try it for free. So you can get— you can try some texts for free, some calls for free. I'm going to put it back up here in a second. But what a lot of people use this for is they get their— I'm going to put over here— you get text messages. So you can copy and paste your text message that somebody sent you and say, give me What do you think of my response to this? What's going on here? Why are they responding this way? Or you can send it screenshots, which is pretty incredible. And so I have already had a lot of people, um, help that would be able to— I've helped a lot of people in a lot of the difficult conversations that they're having in different moments because they're able to do that. So, um, I wanted to make sure that you saw this and that I could share this with you. And I wanted to for a second be able to, um, share real quick with it. So by the way, I know there's going to be some people that are in this and they go, I've already been using the AI. If you have, let me know how you like it, because I've been— I've had nothing but positive reviews on this. I've been slowly rolling it out my membership has had some access to it, and we're continuing to make some really cool adjustments. Yes, you can text it directly. Yeah, it's, it's pretty incredible what you're able to, to do with it. So I wanted to go here and I want to share this tab instead. All right, I think you should be able to see this. So also Who has bought my book? I'm curious who has bought my book. I want to mention this while I still have the chance right now. Is— I'm gonna share this tab. Can I do this? Oh, this is— this is my stop sharing. That's what I see. Here's what I wanted to give you real quick. This is the book for anybody that has not purchased the book. It's, it's been one of my favorite things I've ever done in the projects that I've had, and I wanted to make sure that you saw it. So it's not just that, the workbook has also come out. So if you're somebody who's tried the book, bought the book, you like it, the workbook's also going to come out. All right, I want to mention, I want to share this tab right here. Okay, cool. This is the thing. So I can go— for anybody that is new, it'll say like, hey, you can have some free calls or free text. So what can you do with it? You can text it. I'm gonna wait for this to come up. So it automatically prompts you, hey, I'm just saying, let me know what to say. I'm going into some holiday conversations. What should I keep in mind. Make sure it's showing up. So I'm going to put this— how do I put this in the link, Kelly? I think I can just go Jefferson. If you go to any browser and just click, type in jefferson.ai, you're gonna have it. Very cool. All right, so the response is, hey, holidays can spark some heated chats, so keep energy high and don't dive in tired. Get to your point quickly. Something like, I'm asking for us to stick to one topic. And if it veers on one, I agree, that's an issue to acknowledge without engaging. What's one convo you're dreading most? So it's going to continue to ask questions that are helpful to you, that get you encouraging on this, and you get to try it out for free. So one thing I wanted to make sure that you have and that you could see for yourself here is that anytime you want to just try it out, zero obligation, then you can have it right, right here. I want to make sure I share this tab. This is what's sharing right now. I don't know how to do this. Um, you're just gonna see what I have. So you can try using the QR code. The QR code should work. If it doesn't, let me know in the, in the thing. But this has been one of my favorite things that I've ever worked on, and so many things have— so many times people have— oh, here we go. I can go this one. Let's share this tab. Perfect. The, the way that this AI has come up, people go, AI seems to be like a scary thing for a lot of people, but it's, it's not because of the content of way that I've, I've made it. Uh, Kelly just reminded me, right after this, uh, masterclass is over, I'm going to send you the replay. For free. All right, so if you missed some of this, I'm going to send you the replay. I'm also going to send you all the links for the AI and the book and the workbook so that you can have it all in one place. Um, yeah, exactly. I see. Why don't we just gift the book this year? Absolutely. If you are looking to give somebody the gift of a better conversation, you can give them the book. The book's done awesome this year. Uh, that's it. How do you do I'm looking at some of these, uh, comments. Absolutely. Yeah, that's perfect. Awesome, guys. Okay, thank you so much for attending the Holiday Survival Guide Masterclass. If you want one-on-one advice from me, I want you to try out the AI, Jefferson.ai. You can go to www.jefferson.ai, and it's going to help everything. Uh, let me see if they can email. Oh, that too. You can go to hello@jeffersonfisher.com if you have any questions about it, and it's going to be something that's pretty awesome. So yeah, they say you can try it, so you get free 5 minutes or 3 free texts. So yeah, I want you to go ahead, use the QR code, do 3 free texts, try it out, see how you like it. It's been something that I've put a whole lot of time and effort to because I feel like I get really— it weighs on me that I can't help everybody's conversation. The people that email and text and comment and message, this is the best way that I could do it of being able to download my brain and all of my advice and tips on how to improve your conversations and then present it in a way that's going to be the best for you. So if you need somebody that you can run texts by of how should I respond to this, or this email, or this conversation I'm about to have, You can have a call with the AI that sounds exactly like me. You can also just text it, as well as text it on your, your phone, so it's not like some different kind of app or anything like that. And then once you have that, you're able to have a better conversation, or you just need somebody to dump stuff on, the AI is going to be right there. And so it's, it's all of my personality, as much as we could, and we're continuing to roll up updates so that we're going to be, um doing that. Julie asked, where are we going to be the links available for this masterclass and the books? So we're going to be sending that out in an email shortly, probably within the hour. We're going to send the replay to you as well as the links for all the books, the workbook, and the AI. So that's going to be the first. All right, everybody, I want you to say bye and thank you to everybody that's in the chat. I'm going to leave this up for a little bit, but thank you so much for choosing to spend some time with me and the fact that you're wanting to improve your conversation is something that I find really incredible and special. And I just, I'm, I am so good, uh, I feel so good inside being able to share this time. And even though I can't see you face to face, I can see all the comments. And I just, uh, remove— oh, they're already— thank you very much, I appreciate that. Y'all are very kind. Oh good, we just sent the email. Kelly just sent the email. All right, everybody, have a wonderful holiday. I will continue to share our holiday craziness of Sierra and the kids this crazy season and send some, uh, maybe some funny stories or something your way. If you have not already signed up for my newsletter, I encourage you to do that. Give a lot of advice once a week right to your inbox. And you'll find there that there's a link for bulk orders. It's all through the publisher and who they use. It's not through— I like people ask if I have books. I don't. I don't have a warehouse. They're all with the publisher. So I have a very limited supply for the family. I'm so glad to hear that, Paula. Yeah, absolutely. Uh, how to get signed up for the newsletter? Um, Kelly's going to be the best one for that. So when we email you, there'll be an option for you to sign up for the newsletter itself. You also just go onto my website, jeffersonfisher.com, and you'll find all the resources there for the newsletter. Thank you. So I'm so glad you like it, guys. Thank you all very much. Uh, oh, it's not gonna let me pin my own comment. Maybe I can star it, if you can see that. Thank you so much, everybody. I, I want you to have a wonderful Merry Christmas. Very, very excited and blessed to have y'all here. 33 years law enforcement, answering many calls wouldn't have been made if your skills were used. Love that. And thank you for your service in law enforcement. Awesome, guys. I'm so glad you like the podcast. I'm so glad y'all like the book. Really, really means a lot to me. Uh, the one-on-one, uh, membership program— there's the only thing— there's an AI, that's the one-on-one, like texting, that I can communicate with you with. And then I have a membership. Membership, if you go to jeffersonfisher.com, you'll see become a member where all of the people who attend my stuff are able to actually practice it. So it's like a training ground for people where we're actually able to have Q&As and test things out and practice the skills that they're wanting to learn in their communication. I want to make sure I got everything. My team is making sure that I'm not missing something. Yep, they already sent the link with the replay. If you have any kind of help that you need, it's hello@jeffersonfisher.com. I think that's gonna be awesome. Okay guys, thank you very much. I appreciate it. I'm so glad you like it. All right guys, so glad you signed up. Thank y'all, every— everybody so much. I appreciate it. I mentioned your master class at a church potluck. Thank you, that's wonderful, guys. Y'all, you don't know what kind of a blessing you are, um, for me. So I If you think I should continue to do these kind of free masterclasses, please let me know. Feel free to email me or message. And anytime you're able to share this on social media that you really enjoyed it, then it means a whole lot to me and then I can reshare it. So, I really very appreciate you and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. There, I know Kelly already sent the email. So, I think we should be good to go. So, check the email, make sure you got the replay. You'll have all the information on the books, the AI, and as well as the newsletter. All right, everybody. Y'all be good. See you. If you're waving at your computer, I'm waving right at you. All right, bye guys. This is me trying to figure out how to get off of this thing. I can't believe somebody thought this wasn't going to be live. Get out of here. All right guys, bye.
