The meditation guides listeners to find a quiet, comfortable seated position, close their eyes, and breathe slowly through the nose. Listeners are instructed to place their hands over their heart, become aware of the heartbeat, and imagine inhaling and exhaling through the heart. The practice emphasizes giving permission to simply be still, observing any bodily sensations, thoughts, or discomfort without judgment, and gently returning attention to the breath and heart. It encourages compassionate acknowledgment of the mind’s tendency to wander, inviting the mind to rest and expand into spacious, boundary‑less awareness. The guide repeatedly affirms that love, joy, peace, and all desired qualities are already present, and that the act of non‑doing is sacred. The session concludes by inviting listeners to slowly re‑open their eyes, wiggle fingers and toes, and carry the cultivated presence into everyday steps, recognizing that everything desired is available in each moment.

Find a quiet place where you can take a comfortable seat. Sit up tall and close your eyes. Breathe in and out through your nose, a little slower and a little deeper than usual. Nothing forced, just relaxed. A little slower and a little deeper than usual. And as you continue to breathe, bring your awareness to your heart or your chest area. Actually bring your hands to your heart. Hold them over your heart. See if you can notice your heartbeat. And with your hands over your heart, imagine if you could actually inhale and exhale through your heart. If the air could come in through the pores of your chest, fill the heart, and then exhale back out. Continuing to breathe with your awareness on your heart. And you can allow your hands now to settle back in your lap and give yourself permission to do nothing. Give yourself permission to simply embrace this moment of stillness in which there's nothing at all that needs to be done other than staying here relatively still, watching the breath. And as you watch your breath with an easy, relaxed, spacious mind, place a small amount of attention on what else the mind or body is feeling right now. Notice if there is any discomfort in simply being present and doing nothing. Notice if the mind would rather run off toward the future or a to-do list or planning. Notice if the mind would rather busy itself with reviewing the past or thinking. And each time you notice, acknowledge the pull of movement, of distraction, not with judgment, but simply realizing your mind is doing what it does. And then with the loving patience of a compassionate elder, give your mind permission to rest. Help the mind settle, to be at peace, to be still. And by guiding your awareness back to your breath, to your heart. Without thinking of breath, being present with breath. Without thinking of your heart, being present with your heart. Feeling into breath and heart as you let the mind rest back. Allow for the mind to feel spacious, to feel open, to feel at ease. No tension. Allow the mind to drop into the joy the bliss of no longer needing to do, the bliss of simply being. And know that all you desire is here now. Whatever it is that you seek more of in your life, Love, joy, peace, abundance, courage, strength. It's all here now. And as you are present in this moment, Know that the not doing, the act of simply being, it includes no longer fighting against the movement of the mind or the thoughts that will arise. Allow this too to simply be. Chasing nothing. Distraction will arise, but there's nothing to do. Simply notice, acknowledge, and love. And as you do, you'll find yourself again in the spaciousness of of presence with the body and with the breath. Can you feel yourself perhaps dissolving into the nothingness, dissolving into space, being one with all that is around you? So you are not limited to to the shape of your body. You're not limited to the shape of the room you're in. There are no boundaries, no limits. Feel the spaciousness in this moment. And feel into the preciousness of this moment, this relative quiet, relative stillness. Recognize its beauty with your whole body, the freedom of simply resting in here. The spaciousness in this stillness. Give yourself permission to stay right here for as long as you'd like. Know that this is real. This is everything. There's nowhere to go, nothing to do, only here to be. There is nothing more sacred or more worthy than this. Just watching, noticing, being present with your body, your heart, and your breath. Give yourself permission to be still and breathe. And when you are ready, you can open your eyes, bring your attention back to this room where you are. Wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, and walk forward in this presence, in this awareness, choosing to be here and now each step of the way, and knowing that everything you desire is available to you in every moment. You simply need to tune into it and bring it with you into this moment.
