Are you wanting to learn how to eat healthy but you don't necessarily know where to start? Maybe you're like, "Oh, I need some like healthy recipe ideas for inspiration." I'mma let you in on a little secret. You're overthinking it. Healthy people eat boring. We're not out there trying new healthy recipes every week and experimenting with crazy ingredients. Our meals have a set formula, and here it is: 50% plants, vegetables, fruits, 30% protein, 20% carbs. Boom. That's it. We just take different types of each and mix it up every day. Get a big bag of frozen vegetables, a big bag of some kind of grain like quinoa or farro or bulgur, and some lean protein like chicken or turkey, and just mix and match every day. I know it's boring and it's probably not what you want to hear, but that's the hack. We eat boring, and you know what? It makes it much easier and less stressful. To make it slightly less boring, you can always experiment with different dressings or sauces. And if you're just getting started on your healthy eating journey, for at least probably the first 4 to 6 weeks, do your best to not bring any bad foods into your home. So anything that's like high-fat junk food, highly processed, super sugary— do your best to kind of limit those things, at least initially. And then once you've got that foundation going and you're doing really well and you're getting your stride eating healthy, eating all those boring meals every day, then start to add those things back in. But in the beginning, it's just really important that you really get that jump start. If you guys have any questions or you want any more details, let me know in the comments.
