If you're trying to burn off your body fat with exercise, stop. You've been told that if you just move more, the weight will fall off. So you join a gym, sign up for a boot camp, start dragging yourself to workouts 5 days a week, but the scale barely moves. Or it goes up. Cue the frustration, self-blame, and the "I'll start again Monday" cycle. You're not broken. You're not doing it wrong. You've just been given terrible advice. Exercise should support your energy, strength, and sanity, not be used as a weapon to earn or burn calories.
