There are 6 things I want to tell you. Consistent imperfect action beats occasional perfect action every time. Motivation is fleeting and unreliable. If you wait for it to show up, you'll be waiting forever. Find your deeper why beyond just fitting into your old jeans. If you're sitting on the couch thinking about exercising and feel guilty, that means you have the energy. Get up and move for 5 minutes. Just start. Most people decide to make a change after a health scare. Don't be one of those people. Create systems and habits that work on your worst days, not your best ones. And finally, you cannot think the same thoughts and feel the same feelings and expect a different outcome. You can't carry the same old habits into a new life. You have to become a different version of yourself. I'm Lindsay Zahner, I'm a board-certified health and wellness coach, and I help women over 40 learn to strength train and reset their metabolism. If you need help with one or both of those things, give me a follow.
