Aloha, I'm Lori Miller. I serve as Executive Director for Kauai Hospice on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, and we are very proud to participate with Share the Care. A little over a year and a half ago, we began the process and journey with Sheila Warnock to introduce Share the Care to our island community. She came and helped us plant the seeds, and from there, a year later, we have developed the program in association with Kauai Hospice. Share the Care is a program that looks to support caregivers. And when you look at the work that Kauai Hospice does and our special kind of caring, we focus on the family as the unit of care. And very important to our work with Kauai Hospice is to assure that caregivers don't burn out, that they have the support that's needed to accompany their loved one on their journey as they're nearing the end of life. So we've found Share the Care to be very much in line with our values. Kauai Hospice, the value of family, the value of compassion and caring and love and aloha.
