Hey honey Money, this is TJ with Solutions by TJ and I came to tell you the real truth.
About being a notary public loan signing agent. There are so many people that get into this business and are gone in six months. So why is that Sway? People are talking about, man, the, the industry is saturated. Let me tell you something, as soon as people come in, they come out because some people are not giving way realistic expectations. So let me do that for you today. My name is tj. I'm with Solutions by tj. Make sure that you subscribe to this channel and like this video. And you know what, let's cut all of the BS and just get started on that real stuff. Okay? So first off, it costs you anywhere from 700 to $1,000 just to get started in this business. That doesn't even include.
Your time commitment. Right? You have to become a notary first, then become a notary public loan signing agent. The notary public loan signing agent course is one thing. So I may not reach all of them, but a couple of things that you'll pay for your notary commission, your notary public loan signing agent commission, that's easily about $300 right there. A printer, a laser printer. That's easily another 3,000. I'd say just give it 3,000, 350. Then you need mentorship, you need insurance, you need bonding, right? So that's another. Well, you know what I'm saying. I mean you had 3,000, 3,000, that's 6,000.
The rest is about a thousand. You know, you add a thousand dollars easy. So people pay this money, get into it and then they're gone within six months because they don't understand the realism of this business. The time commitment, the money. That's number one. You got to invest in yourself. If you're going to be in this business. You have to invest in training. You can't find another career and not be trained. Hello. Where do you do, where they do that at? If you were going on anybody's job, you need to be trained. So people come into it and say, oh, it's just a notary. No Sway.
No. This business has its own jargon. This business is about detail.
So if you are not a very detailed person, this is not for you. Because the way that you make your money is by when they get the documents, they are correct, they are pristine. They're exactly like your client wants them. That's how you, your, you build your reputation and gain notoriety in this business. So you have to have somebody who guides you and cuts the BS and gets you to the point of making money and showing you how to do it. You can't just jump in and just start. Gotta have a mentor. That's number one. I have a mentorship program. Look below. It's. All of the information is below. I'm not selling my program right now. I'm just telling you what it is. The second thing that I wanted to talk about.
Are, you know, this is a business, so it's not like corporate America where you just sign up everything and it's just gonna come to you. It used to be like that, but it's not now because there are a lot of people in this business. And to be honest with you, it's a business where you have people, notary public loan signing agents who have other people working for them. Don't nobody want no smoke. So they'll accept the people who are doing the job right all the time before trying somebody new, like a new notary public loan signing agent. They'd rather. They don't want no smoke. They rather just stick with who they have, what that means for you. You're gonna have to put in some work to gain their trust, to build a relationship and, and to get out there and show them what you have, you might have to tell them, hey, listen, I'm willing to start out and take jobs for a cheaper price.
An experienced notary public loan signing agent might be making 100 bucks. You say you'll do it the same job for $45 this time just so that they can try you out. It gets your foot in the door, right? And you have to proactively go after them because they don't need you, Sway. They don't need you. You gotta go after them. You sign up to these companies, but if you sit and wait for them to come to you, you've lost in this business. And I think that's where a lot of people are just hitting the door because they're like, I'm not getting signed. Ain't nobody calling me. I can't say it till I'm blue in the face, baby. Ain't nobody gonna call you. You gotta be ready to, to make the calls, to go into signing companies, to go into title companies, right? You have to be proactive and sell yourself. If you think that it's just gonna come to you, do not do it. If you are an introvert, you too scared to talk to people on the phone, or, you know, you're too scared to put yourself out of there.
Either. Don't do this or get you a coach that's gonna motivate you and, and hold your hand through this entire thing or you gonna waste your 700 to $1,000. I'm just trying to tell you the truth, Sway.
I mean, that's just the reality of it. Then when I say that this is a business, there's a whole setup for a business that you're gonna have to learn. It ain't hard. None of this is hard. But this is what you have to do. And this is a realistic expectation. And you can easily, easily make 10 to 20 thousand dollars a month in this business. That is a reality. But you're gonna work for it. It's not just going to come to you. Some people make it sound so goddamn easy. But in the beginning, it is easy. But in the beginning, you're gonna have to put yourself out there. You have to work for it. You're gonna have to put in some effort, some sweat equity. You're gonna have to go to networking events and let everybody in the whole city know that you are the go to notary and notary public loan signing agent. You will have to tell title companies that you're going to have to do general notary work where you're doing wills, trust affidavits, powers of attorney. Because maybe all of that little change, and it ain't little change, it's not like $6, it's like 45, $60,125. They need you to do double things. You know, you make your money, your nickels and dimes all day because at the end of the day, $500, five days a week. $500 a day, five days a week will get you to 10 grand. So the point of what I'm saying with this is you're gonna have to do multiple things in order to make that type of money. Multiple notary type jobs. You can do it just as a notary public loan signing agent. My cousin does it all day. But if you're just starting out, diversify, you can do signings, mortgage signings, loan signings, and apostille work and general notary work and process serving. That's the real part of this business.
The last thing that I want to talk about is, you know.
There are some frustrations that are very real.
When you have a title company and you signed up for this job three days ago and you're thinking, okay, at least the day before they'll drop docs. I'll have plenty of time to print everything and then be good to go. Negatory. Negative. They wait till the hour before you supposed to be there and drop the dots. Now you have a printer, it's a good printer, but you're trying to print 400 pages because you, your title company is going to need a copy and your client is going to need a copy. So every time you print, you're going to be printing anywhere From I'd say 200 pages to 400 pages.
That's cool. Until it's the last minute, your printer moving slow, it's five o' clock traffic, you got to be there and the goddamn gun printer jams. Oh my God.
What else can go wrong? So now you late. You nervous because it's your first time doing it and they didn't drop the Knox late. This is stuff that you need to prepare yourself for, prepare your mind for, because that shit happens. Okay? So listen, it's the realism of the job. How can you.
Prepare for that?
Printer jams. Be patient. Number one. If you are printer jams and you have to go to Kinko's or something and that's just what you have to do. Now you are not supposed to print people's documents because they have their personal information like Social Security and all of that stuff, you're not supposed to do that. But come up with some type of plan B, Come up with some type of plan B of where you can print. If you can't get this printer to work at the last minute, if you're not real tech, tech savvy and, and, and all of this falls apart, what are you gonna do? Come up with your own plan. Even if you have a notary buddy who also has a printer and you send the docs to them and then you gotta pick it up, call your client, tell them I'm be about an hour late, blah blah blah, his traffic, that's what you have to do.
So I mean I just want to give you the real. I ain't trying to be negative because it's a lot of money in this. I make a lot of money doing this. But I want you to know the truth before you get into it. If you got any, any, any, any insight or help from this video, please give me a, like, please give me a heart something because I do this for, out of the kindness of my heart, baby, I don't have to. But I want you to know what you're getting into. And I want to be the one to help you get through it. To be honest with you, my coaching link is below. I'm gonna be that coach that tells you the real deal. I'm not going to sugarcoat nothing and I'm not going to let you fail because I got you all the time. You come with me. I got you when you're at the table. I got you. I'm just a phone call away. I'm a picture away. You tell me what's going on. You send me a picture. We got you. Period. So click the link below. Contact me@supportolutionsbytj.com if you are interested in mentorship. And. And I will make sure that you get through every single thing that you need flawlessly holding your hand. You got to know what type of learner you are. If you're. If you can watch videos and learn. Good for you. TJ can't. So guess what? I gotta pay extra so somebody can hold my hand. Because hand holding always is gonna cost extra because you're taking up somebody's time. So what can I expect as far. Expect as far as that. About 375 for somebody to hold my hand. That 375 breaks down to $125 for three different closings. $125 to go through all of those docs with you, baby. Trust me, not a bad price. Group coaching.
Anywhere from 147 to 247, 250 just kind of depends. And you go through it by yourself. You have to know the type of learner that you are. If you want the autonomy to be able to go at your own pace, do your own time. Group coaching is the best for you. And you'll watch videos. If you need the personal touch, sign up with somebody whose personality that you vibe with, who's really going to be there that you can touch. Because I don't want no coach that I can't touch that I can't call. You come with me. You get my own personal phone number. I'm a phone call away. And everybody on this platform will tell you that they've talked to me for real. Anyway, I'm not going to keep going on. I love you to life. You take care. I want you to win. And I. And if you think this is for you and you can go out and get it, hey, by all means. This is the lowest cost business that you can get into and. And change your freaking life. Trust me, a lot of people here have. Okay, honey bunny. God bless and I'll see you on the side.
