Hey, this is TJ with Solutions by TJ once again. And today we're going to go over some really important words that you need to know. Now, you know with every industry, with every job, there's this industry jargon, right? So here's what I want you to do. I want you to put this dadgum video on repeat so you can get this into your spirit, right? Everybody is trying to memorize these loan documents. I. Look, honey, all of these loan documents are probably going to be different. Every lender has their own loan documents. You will not memorize it until you have your own. You'll start seeing the exact same pages over and over again. But memorizing those loan documents is not where your head needs to be. Hire a mentor so that when you get your own package, they can go over that package with you. The more you go over your own stuff, the more you'll learn how to. How to go through those packages. It's not going to do you any good to try to memorize the packages. So this is what I want you to do. Play this on repeat until you have these words in your Shalonda. Reload, Jose. Okay. In your good spirit, you got to know what they mean on cue. Okay, so let us begin.
Acknowledgement. An acknowledgement is an act which a notary certifies having positive, positively identified a document signer. Not the document, but the document signer who personally appeared before the notary and admitted having signed the document. Like I've said before, the document does not have to be signed in front of you. They can bring the document to you and acknowledge that they have signed the document themselves and that the signature on that document belongs to them. Administer to give formally, as in giving an oath or an affirmation. So notaries administer oaths and affirmations. Administrative penalty. This is what happens when you get in trouble. It's the punishment imposed by authorities who regulate notaries in the form of revoking your certification, suspension or denial of a commission. And in some states, fines or mandatory education is one of the penalties. Affiant. An affiant is the signer of an affidavit. An affidavit is a written statement signed before a notary by a person who swears or affirms to the notary that the statement is true. All right, those are the first five. Go over this again and again. I have one more coming up. I'm trying to give it to you in small doses just so that you can get the information into your spirit. Put this on Autoplay.
