Hey, beautiful people. So let's just get right into it. As I said a moment ago, the best printer for you is the right printer for you. So the name of this presentation is Buying the right Printer. Okay, let's make sure we buy the right printer. Now, what do you really need?
All you need, to be honest with you, it just has to say laser printer, that is about it. Everything else is really extra. What is nice to have is an all in one, compact, monochrome, dual tray, fast printer. Okay? The ability to print, copy and scan is what's meant by all in one. You want it to be light just in case you have to move it around anywhere from 20 to 30 pounds. Monochrome means that it only prints in black with a black toner cartridge. Color printers usually have four different cartridges, but you don't need all that. The ideal printer would be dual tray, meaning that it has two trays where you can print legal size, paper or letter size all at the same time. When printing again, listen, you'll need that and it if you got a real good printer, it'll print over 35 pages per minute. 40 to 50 pages per minute is excellent. But if you can afford 20 printer that prints 20 something pages a minute, hey, do that until you can do better. You want it to be able to. The the whole goal of this is for it to be able to print clean, crisp copies. And your printer should be for your own private use. It should not be a printer that's listed somewhere in the house where everybody can use it. It has to be in its own little area. Of course, you know now you know if it's in your house and other people got to use the printer, just try your best to make sure that people's Social Security numbers ain't all over the house and everybody isn't looking at the printer. That would be a public printer. Get your documents, even in your house from the printer as quickly as you can. After you're done with those documents, if there's anything left, be sure to shred them. That's just an industry standard. Now, laser versus ink, which is better? We use laser, period. The difference between ink and laser is laser uses a powder, ink uses ink. The powder for a laser printer is melted onto the paper. So when you're printing a lot of text, it's better to have a laser printer. If you're printing pictures and images that you want to be high quality, that's when you use those ink printers. But in this business it's strictly laser. Now on these printer models, there are a whole bunch of different letters at the end. This is just good stuff to know, but it ain't mandatory. BT is for Bluetooth. If it has a C, it's color. D is duplex. Some printers have fax machines. Those are the all in ones and that's the F. The next one is mpf. That's a multifunctional printer. So if you see those. And that's all it has, I just want you to be informed of what it is. The T is for extra tray. And when you see an X, that could mean a list of things. So you just really gotta look at the specs on the printer. Because X could mean duplex, extra trade network, it could mean all other kind of stuff. Okay. W is for wireless. T is for extra tray. There is no downside to a side hustle. There are only benefits to building more than one source of income. A side hustle, baby, is the new job security.
So start your side hustle. Start doing this. Don't let a printer stop you.
