First of all, I appreciate the opportunity, the forum, to explain what our services do. I, as you, we talked about before. I've worked with notaries for over 16 years. And first notary I met when we had our conversation, she asked basically the same question you're asking. How can Legalshield help me do the things that are important for my business? Well, very simply, as you know, as a notary, there are lots of questions. That notary is about as close as you'll get to an attorney without really being an attorney. Absolutely.

It's very true. In fact, that's how I got involved in this industry. Sixteen years ago, I had a notary that most people know very well who came up to me after I did a presentation at, actually, the Modesto Chamber of Commerce. And she came up to me. I wouldn't say, well, she had a little bit of an attitude. And she just said, very simply, can you guys do anything for me? And I said, what's your situation? She goes, well, I have a client real estate company that I've been doing notarial work for, and I've been trying to collect for over six months. I've called them, I've written them, I put together a certified letter, and they've basically ghosted me before. Ghosting was a thing 16 years ago. So I said, I don't know. I really don't know. And I never do know for sure. All I know is with our membership, that law firm will write a letter, and if they can get the money back, they'll get the money back. Now, the law firm has 60 attorneys on the letterhead, five offices across California. They use this mumbo jumbo about the Fair Debt Collection act and triple the amount of the amounts owed to you. Well, a week later, I saw this young lady at our next chamber function, and she not only had a copy of the check she got, but a copy of the letter that the law firm sent. So she was obviously a very happy customer. Has become one of my largest proponents, and why I've gotten involved in this. So they will write letters and make phone calls on your behalf. If you're having a problem with anybody, and obviously with our membership, it covers your family as well. So let's say you're having a problem with your cable company, the cell phone provider, the neighbor's dogs barking. They can do that? Yes, ma'. Am.

So let me ask you a quick question. So what are types of questions that notaries can contact Legal Shield and ask them? I know that you said something, you talked about collections, but what are some other questions? Like if we have questions about the.

Documents themselves, there's no exclusion to subject matter in regards to getting advice, assistance and guidance. It is unlimited consultation. Now understand, it's unlimited for your situation. You cannot be calling for your client. You can't call, but you can call on how that situation deals with you and what you're doing. And it's really. When they say unlimited, they mean unlimited. Remember, we hire or we have law firms in every state that are some of the biggest law firms in those states because we have to have every area of expertise covered. So if you real estate, taxes, estate planning, whatever the situation is, you'll talk to an attorney who specializes in. In those areas of the law.

Okay? So, Phil, when you, when you contact LegalShield, how quickly do they normally get in touch with you? Because sometimes we're sitting at the closing table or we might have a closing within an hour or so. So how quickly do they normally get in touch with you?

That's a great question. Very important to understand how the whole concept works. Now, we guarantee our members a phone call within four business hours. Okay. That's our guarantee to the membership. But if you tell the law firm that, hey, I've got something I need an answer for, as quickly as you can, within an hour, if possible. Obviously you can't demand to talk to an attorney. Right. Then it just can't work that way. But you try and give them as much warning as you can. If you can't give them much warning, then just when you call in and talk to that customer service person who's getting your information, what you're calling about, they can try and move that to the front of the pack. If they can, can't guarantee that or promise that at all. But if you've ever tried to contact your own personal attorney, I mean, sometimes if you get a call the same week, you're doing well. We have very strict customer standards that these law firms have to abide by. So we take really good care of our members.

Awesome. So I have quite a few clients who Will contact me and ask me, you know, questions about the certificate itself. Now, I totally understand we cannot call on behalf of our clients, but if we have a question on how to fill out the certificate portion, the portion that the notary completes within a document, that's something that they can call legal shield and get a response, correct?

That is correct. Okay, that is correct. Again, just make sure you understand if your clients have questions, concerns, things that they need to know about. You're not an attorney. I know. You obviously make that very clear during your work.

Absolutely.

But yeah, it's also very important that they, you can give them some options. We could talk about that later. Obviously, I'm happy to go on a little more. In regard to what the service provides, one of the things that is key from my perspective is I'm sure you, like everybody else, sign things. And typically when you sign those things, you, you know, what do they say? That the bold print giveth and the small print taketh away. And those attorneys are actually people. I ask people all the time, well, don't you use an attorney? And they say no. And I go, no, that's not right. You ever signed a car agreement? You ever got a cell phone? You ever signed anything? Well, you didn't use an attorney. You use their attorney. And who do you think that contractor document, whose best interest are they looking out for?
