I've known him. He was an Olympiad from University of Houston. He trained. My daughter died Friday. Hello. 49 years old. I'm 47. And that kind of hit home for me. Am I looking crazy? And put my glass back on. That kind of hit home, because it's like, dang, everybody gonna get. Some people gonna make it to the door 2023, and not be able to cross over. That's crazy.

So I've gone through the day, and.

I don't know if you believe in any of this stuff or my. I've been looking at my horoscope and different things, and it's talking about 2023. And my spirit has just been dealing with me and talking to me about certain things. And one thing that came up today.

Was, what story are you telling?

Are you telling the old story, or are you ready for a new story? Because.

You are. Your story. Whatever story you tell. Whatever story. If I'm a widow, people don't see me. I don't ever have Any money. I'm always broke. Men. Don't look at me. Whatever your story is, leave that shit in 2022 and create a new story.

You have the ability and total control at this moment to choose a new story. That old story is dead. We left it. I left mine in 2022. So who are you today? What is your new story? You can create a new story. You don't have to continue to live in. In that heartbroken story. You don't have to continue to live in that story of what didn't work and what the heck went wrong. Because. So I ain't talking to you. I'm talking to us. Let's. Let's get that clear.

Sometimes when God tells me to do things, I say, yeah, but last time I tried that. Yada, yada, yada.

I don't trust you like that. Last time you. You dropped me, you know? So what story are you telling, sweetheart? What story? What do you want this story to be for 2023? That's the major thing. What do you want the story for 2023 to be for you?

Because it can be anything you want. What do you want the story for 2023? Trying to hear myself. Okay, I did.

I'm trying to hear myself so that I can make sure that it sounds good. But, yeah, so, I mean, that's my story for y' all tonight. I want y' all to choose another story. I want you to.

Choose a story of love, of success, of prosperity, of joy, of abundance. And absolutely, abundance includes so many more things than just money. Money is one of them. But your peace. I want an abundance of peace. I want an abundance of peace of freaking mind. You hear me? I want an abundance of love and of joy and of healing.

We have gone through, baby. This. This Earth school that we're in. Whoa. It'll knock your lips backwards. You know how in that cartoon Daffy Duck, his lips, you know, something hits him and his head stays still, but his lips go backwards. Hello.

Baby. Life to knock my lips backwards.

Don't make no sense.

However, I'm ready for a new story. That story is dead. Dead. And I. I hope and pray that every time in my subconscious I start telling that story. I remember this conversation that I'm having with you about.

2023, baby. New story, new me, new story. Because if you keep playing that same story, you will continue to live that same dead gum thing over and over and over again.

New story.

So part of my new story is everything that happened is that happened in the past is in the Past for me. I'm moving on. I am happy, I am healthy. You know.

I love my life. I have. I just experienced this thing right before I got on this call. It interrupted my flow. That's kind of why the video wasn't all the way together. So again, please pardon me, but. So I, I run these short term rentals and I'm telling you, my baby, if ain't nobody else tell you to knock my lips backwards.

This business. A lot of people think that owning short term rentals is a real estate investment. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You get into the hospitality business. Business. And it's a business. It's a business. It is a business. The hospitality business. It is not at all real estate.

Your main goal is to make sure that when people come into town, they have a great time. That's it. That's short term rentals. So.

A couple of things have happened to me this, this month. One great thing. Look up. I don't even know how to pronounce Sean's name, but his name is Sean Rakadich. R A K I D Z I C H.

He came to visit me because I was going to sell the short term rentals. I was done. November, I had to put money into it. And I just, you know, my first year I put $60,000 into the. This thing out of my own pocket just for it to survive. And so.

When I had to put money into it in November, I was like, oh, hell no, I can't. You know, I've been, I've gone broke before. I'm not going down with a sinking ship. Well, Sean came, he looked around, he, you know, gave me some really good ideas. And long story short, with his handsome self, hello.

He told me that no, he could buy from me, but he's not. Have a little grit, stick to it. He told me that I'm doing better than most people. I have most of the stuff right. Gave me some ideas of some things that he would change, stuff that you know, is doable.

But this is just a season. It's a slow season for everybody. But some people are getting. They hold lips knocked out. I thought my lips was knocked out. No, they have nobody. I mean, it is dry. So.

He came. Then right before I got on screen, this person.

One of my guests from last week, had a FedEx package sent to my short term rentals. I didn't know it. Tonight he comes knocking on every door in the place asking people, did I stay here last week, did you receive a package?

So there were a Group of ladies, and he was a Hispanic guy. There were a group of ladies, and it scared them. It would have scared me, too.

I'm right across the hall from where he was. Didn't knock on this door. Oh, I wish he would have knocked on my door. But he didn't. He knocked on every door but this door. That's crazy, right? Anywho, he scared the ladies. So I've contacted Airbnb. That might be money. I lose, and I don't need to lose no money. Hello. But it'd be stuff like that business. There are little bitty things that you can just count on. So a lot of people in the since COVID have decided to go on their own, have decided to be business owners. And I'm going to tell you something. This ain't for the week. You have to be very strong. You have to be very resilient. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot.

All of the success stories that you hear is not all successes. You have some wins and some losses. And, you know, my cousin Shami was telling me I'm not good at.

Congratulating myself for my wins because constantly having the money, regardless of where it came from, to keep this thing afloat is a win. It's a win, It's a win. Another thing that Sean told me was I need to be in acquisition mode while I'm trying to get rid of it. He's like, girl, you need to buy more. And I'm like, oh, wow. For real?

Oh, okay. So, you know, we'll see what comes. I mean, he kind of told me how to do it and what to do, and I'm gonna take his advice. One thing that I'm majorly working on in the short term rental business is the pricing. That's the whole business really pricing to get people through the door, messing with the algorithm. It's a lot. It's a lot, and it is a huge learning curve. And, you know, it's so much that I didn't feel like at one point, I had enough time and energy to split between doing that and. And coming and being with y'. All. Let me tell you what brought me back over here.

The world, the market has changed, and I was looking at content and what other YouTubers are putting out, and they were not telling y' all how to pivot. Everybody just talks about the same thing over and over and over again to get views, telling them, you know, how their business is going, how their day is going, what next? How do we Pivot. What do we do now when it's slow? What am I supposed to do? Especially if I've quit my job for this 10 to $20,000 a month that people were making. What do I do now? Hello, Nobody was talking about that. And, hey, you prove me wrong. I might be wrong if somebody was talking about that. Please, please, please let me give you them, their flowers. Please let me know who it was, and I will definitely give them their flowers. I just didn't see anybody doing it. So I said, hold on, let me come back up. And so that's when I said, listen, let me show y' all what I'm doing, right? Because I still get a lot of business. I still get business. A lot of. I mean, my notary business, man, listen. Yeah, praise God, I'm still going to go and market to hospitals. I'm still going to do different things. And that's why I put the event on, that I put on. And for those of you who couldn't make it, have no fear. I mean, I think over like 500 people signed up, if I'm not mistaken.

We didn't have 500 on there, but it was the holidays, so I want to do it again. And this time it'll be in probably late January, that I'll do it again. I need for you to come because I. I'm dropping heat. I'm dropping heat. I ain't just, you know, it's not a sales pitch. I'm showing you step by step how to do something.

Now.

I can't give you all of my knowledge in 12 hours. So I. I do sell something at the end, if you want to buy. Okay? So listen, listen, listen. I can show you how to set up an ad. I can do that in an hour. But I can't show you how to pivot when something goes wrong. I can't show you how to troubleshoot. I can't give you every little detail because it'll take too long.

So that's why, you know, people come in and you have. Okay, I'm gonna tell you this part. I'm gonna walk you through it, and then bam, you go and do it and buy the book. Just in case anything goes wrong. I'm gonna give you the rest of the information, you know what I'm saying? Because you can do ads. It's not rocket science, but then it is, you know, there are certain parts of everything. It's like, oh, I didn't know that. Short term rental business. Oh, wow, I didn't know that. So I'm steadily having to learn and.

You know.

Get the information from other people. But I wanted to make sure.

Some things have been brought to my attention. You know, I do a lot of reflecting and looking at my own thoughts and what I'm thinking. And.

This. My hair falling out had a lot to do with me being able to look at me, take all that other stuff away. Take that hair away. Are you still pretty? Do you still feel pretty? Do you still feel confident? Some days I did, some days I didn't. I mean, I feel like sometimes I have. Because I have been forced to live on my own, fend for myself, masculine energy, right? So.

I wonder sometimes, do you know this hair short and everything? Damn, do I look like a boy? It's just been all kind of crazy stuff going through my head. But, you know, I hate the term boss, babe. It gets on my nerves because I, I don't want to be that bro. I, I just want to be a girl. Hello. I don't want to do none of this.

I do it because I don't have a choice. I gotta get it for me and Madison because ain't nobody else gonna get it for me and Madison. And if I did have a dude.

I still be doing whatever I want to do, but I don't want to have to do it. You know what I'm saying? Oh, I'm a woman. I don't want to have to do it.

I don't want to have to. I want to do it because I want to do it. I want to be one of those women like my sister and like my sister in law who don't even know how to pump gas. Hello.
