Trying to get everything set up. I've never done this part before of going live like this. You heard me? So this is a little different for me, and I'm just trying to make sure that everything is set up for y'. All. Okay? I'm trying.

I know I'm in the camera. Y' all give me a minute. So don't. Don't expect for me to get live every time now. Now, this is just coming out party. Hello. I ain't coming out as homosexual. And that if you are. Hey, I ain't got no problem with you. But I'm just saying I'm coming out as a Thrifter. Thriftaholic, actually.

So today I wanted to show y' all some of my stuff because, baby, I got some good stuff. I have some good stuff.

And I want you to see it. So I'm going to. I'm filming live right now on both.

YouTube and I'm trying to go live on Twitter as well.

But as you can see with my closet thing right there, see, I've been trying to get rid of.

Okay, so I am ready. So.

I want to start giving y' all more content that deals with who I am, what I do, right? What I enjoy doing. Because if you do something for a long time, it gets a little boring. So I want to mix it up a little bit for you and show you the stuff that excites my spirit.

And thrifting excites my spirit. Now, this stuff that I have right here, this is from Texas Thrift, the stuff right behind me. Let me move this over so I ain't gotta get out of pocket. It's from Texas Thrift. My favorite thing that I got, and I actually just bought this last.

Friday. My favorite thing that I got for 16.99 is this via Spiga coat with the gold details.

I was looking for some type of.

Cream. I was either gonna get a cream coat or going to get a cream shawl or something, because I have several outfits to wear with cream. So I'm just gonna throw it on place so you can see what I'm talking about, how beautiful this thing is.

Now you pop your collar, and you Rich ain't in this mug. Can y' all see it with the gold? I say with the gold. Yes, yes. I, I, that's my whole thing. So I'm not really going for the vintage 1990s look. I like the rich Amy look. Look at this. It's fully lined, and that's like a leopard print on the inside. Just a lot of little cute, cute, cute, cute details. I believe that that retails for 180. I got it for 16. This is a Tahari suit.

That normally retails for. I saw it online for one. 185, I believe. 165. 185. I spent too much on it. However.

I like it. And I'm aware with this hat. And then I have shoes. So let me show y' all my true game is my true game.

All right, so this is one hat, one pair of shoes. That could be an outfit if I wanted to.

Or I could pair it with these little numbers. Look at these. Mom sister say, why you shop? Whoever bought these may have worn them once and they didn't do it on concrete. Hello. These shoes were 16.99. They were super cute, though. Brand new. And they are from express.

So I compare these two.

This could be one outfit. Wear my little yellow purse and baby, it's on. Or my blue. Or, you know, just bring out some of the other colors that are gorgeous.

And I copped. Had the nerve.

To cop me some gold pants. Now you say, little sis. I thought she was not gonna do vintage girl. These is trending right now. And actually, this is a 12. It's a size 12 is what it says on the inside. Let me show you. But they fit perfectly.

They fit perfectly. So this is the inside. They fit perfectly. And they are super cute and will go with so much stuff. Hold on. My other thing failed, so I gotta fix it. Y'. All.

Okay. Sorry. That fail.

All right? And somebody is texting me during the live. Lord, let me see. Because my chichi might be hanging out. Okay. It's not. All right, so these. I got a few different things to go with this one. I got this, this. Oh, these were 4.99. How you not gonna get something for 4.99? What's wrong with you? $4.99. Texas Thrift Off, 1960 in north Houston. $4.99. How you gonna leave it?

And then I got this. This vest. I don't know who it's by. I wasn't really paying attention to that. That's not why I got.

Says BB Dakota. But it has these little. If I want to dress this down. If you can see the sparkling.

If you can see the sparkling gold in that. That's what made me buy that.

All right.

And.

I also bought this coat. If I want to dress this up.

I know you said, sis. I thought you said you wasn't going 19. 1970. I said 1990. And really, you know, this gave me kind of rich ain't vibe. I'm sorry. I mean, because when I put this mug on.

Look and pop my collar.

Make sure. But chichi ain't hanging out. Okay. See, it's nice with my goal, do something real simple. And I'm still sort of cute, you know, really cute. Actually, really cute.

Okay, so that is two things.

And.

Let'S see. Did. Oh, this is another one. So I went in the little boys department. Because if I just want to wet. See, I don't go a whole bunch of places. So, baby, you might catch me in Target with this on. Or in Costco. I' ma wear my stuff this year. You see me, you gonna get what I got on. So if you see this, it has the gold. So I pair that with my good gold pants. And I'm dressed down. And I made them dog on there into some jeans. And I'm just going out to be cute. You see that?

Alrighty. So I got three different looks for this.

Okay? So my other look, I found this doc. This is the first thing that I saw that got me started. This is what hooked me. This right here. This is what hooked me to say tj. Oh, my God, look around. I picked this up. This is a free people camo. It is heavy, okay? It's heavy. And then I immediately saw these. Bam.

So I have the jacket, I have the pants. And I can go full monochrome because I went to the shoe department. And we went. When we went, me, my mother and my sister went to the Nutcracker. And I saw these. These are called sloggers. You see, ain't nobody. Whoa. These sloggers, right? These sloggers have never been worn before. They're a size 8. The color matched perfectly.

They were 7.99.

And they are a size my size. Well, they're a nine, but I wear eight. I can fit them. Don't judge me, Judge your mama. So they are magnificent. I love them. And so I was going. Still moving around. I'm playing with patterns, I'm playing with colors. I'm playing with all kinds of stuff. This year, I'm bringing it all out. So I was in the men's department again and found this argyle sweater.

And guess what? This is an outfit for me, honey. I' ma fool around and put my good cream boots on or something with this, because if you can see this, this has cream in it. So I'm gonna do something sexy. I'm gonna wear this as a dress. You can't see it totally, because I couldn't figure out how to get the camera to back up. Don't worry about it. I'll have her together next time. But this is going to be a dress. It's super long, and I'm gonna have my boots on and. Yeah. Gonna give it to the people just like that.

Okay. And then I bought a few shirts because I need more color in my closet for stuff like this. So I don't know who this guy is.

Curtis Hawes. And Curtis. It's called H and Curtis of London. Established in 1913. 1913. That's when the Delta Sigma Theta was established. And so you might think it's a lot, but wait till I try it on. And I really don't care what nobody think, because you know what, man? Fashion is an art of its own. Like Erykah Badu said, you know, I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my. Yeah, yeah. This is my art. This is where I get to experience my creativity. So I got three different shirts from them.

Three different. Right. Orange and blue, pink and blue, and then pink and orange. I mean, then orange and blue. And I'll be able to wear these with a lot of different things. I could pair these with jeans, a blue shirt.

Pink pants. Actually red pants, because there's red in here, too. Off white, all kinds of stuff. I'm gonna do it.

And then. Oh, I got excited when I found this. And I know my sister was like. Because my sister stopped by when I was in there because I told her where I was. I was over there by her house, and I know she was like, what? But, girl.

Look at that now. Yeah, it's a lot. It's a lot of colors. But I'm gonna pair this down with something, and it's gonna be fabulous. It's like, it looks sort of knitish, but it's gonna be a real cute piece.

Real cute. I like it. When you see me with the whole thing on, you'll get it.

All right. And last, but. Well, not last, but this little dress looks so cute on. I had to get it. And you say, girl, you got the back out. Girl, what you gonna wear with this? I am going to Put on prop, possibly. I'm gonna try it with some jeans. I'm gonna put pants under here and maybe.

Some type of shirt. I have this lime color boot. You see that lime right there? And I have a lime mesh shirt. I'm gonna play with this. But you can. You can see it from top to bottom. It's live. Oh. So I wanted to show y' all that.

Now for the shoes that I got.

These are Sarah's.

These are some little booties. People talk about why you get used stuff. Girl, who. Who walked anywhere in these shoes but around the house.

Who?

Nobody. And they look super cute on.

And, baby, my mama was hollering about these. Okay. I showed my mama these shoes. These are some thigh high snake skins. Yes. They are a size 9 because I don't like for my feet to hurt. And so I have these that I can pair with this little. I don't have to, but I could put these together. This is like a mesh and. And.

I don't know, studded little dress. It's kind of. It's kind of long, but, baby, I'm a rock it. And you're gonna see what I do with it. I could wear this, man. I could dress it up or down. I could wear it with jeans, or I can wear it as something going out. Oh, you gonna see, you gonna see, Y' all gonna see me. I also got. I love polos, right? So this is a man's shirt. I'm gonna wear it as a dress with these boots.

And possibly with this jacket.

Because it'll all go together. I think I gotta put it on. See, maybe the boots might be too much for it. But if I wear it on another day as a dress, I could wear it with this jacket. I could wear it another day with these boots and put it with another coat that I have. Even put it with this cream.

Yeah.

Okay. And.

Oh, looky, looky what the little cookie found. I found a Louis Vuitton sweater at the thrift.

Louis Vuitton.

And this gonna go somewhere with me. I don't know where, but it's going somewhere. Ain't going everywhere. Just going somewhere has quite a bit of detail. It has this Louis Vuitton on the front.

And then this colorful stuff on the back. I really liked it. All right, how am I doing as far as time? That was just 17 minutes. K.

This is taking a lot less time than I thought. Okay.

So I was also going to show you my Akira haul for the new year. Not for the new year, for Christmas.

And.

Let me Call my daughter in here.

Real quick so she can go and get those bags. Because I have some bags of shoes that I want to show you.

All right? So I can get started while she's coming. Let me turn this around. See, I've been preparing to do this for a while. So I had already bought this rack. So that's the old stuff. Now this is the new stuff at Akira. If you go to Akira in Willowbrook Mall, if you were in Houston, ask for my little niece, Morgan baby, she will hook you up. She had Amy and all of these cute little stuff, and Amy picked out a bunch of it herself.

So this will go with some cream pants. When you put it on, it kind of blouses out. You see this? This is kind of solid, so it's like a peplum that really sticks out.

You see that? Real, real cute. Because I need color. Can you go upstairs and get those red acure bags for me? Thank you. And this was 15. The shirt was $15 at Akira.

This white pleather dress.

This was 15 at Akira.

It's an extra large, but I tried it on and it looked amazing.

Y' all trying to make a sis think she fat. And the devil is a liar. Okay, I rebuke you. This is a large.

One of those real long skirts. It's like a Jersey type skirt. I'm going to wear it with this. And I'm a murderer. You hear me? I'm a murderer. It's gonna be so freaking cute. This is gonna be tucked in, and then this is gonna be blouse eye. It's. It's cute. Super cute.

Super duper, duper, duper, duper, duper, duper cute. And I don't know if y' all can see the little detail with the pins in this to hold it all together.

And so.

I got some shoes.

All right, so I got these shoes.

From akira. They were 40 bucks. They were on sale. Because I ain't buying nothing unless it's on sale. See, you know what? That sale thing will get you in trouble because you feel like you getting the deal, but you spending too much. Sis, stop it. I'm trying. That's why I have an announcement at the end of this, so stay with me. So I purchased this boot. This boot actually looked amazing with this.

It was too cute. A go out outfit. And.

A red blazer. I mean, a white blazer.

This white blazer. This shoe. Tell me what these. Baby, they ain't gonna be able to. Yeah, what I Don't know what y' all gonna do with me. I don't know. Y' all gonna be able to tell me nothing.

Cause I'm over it, honey. I'm over it. And when y' all see me in Walmart with my stuff on, don't act like you don't know me, because I'm fully dressed in Walmart with my silver on. Look. This was cute. 15. No, this was $10. How you gonna leave this, sis? You got this big old split up the side. Morgan paired it with these shoes, these mules. Put me on my Rich Ain't it jacket. Let me show y' all my Rich ain't jacket, because I know y'. All. I know y' all die to see the Rich ain't.

The Ricky Rich ain't a jacket go everywhere. This jacket is from royal underground. You see that fur on there?

This is rich, ain't it?

Yeah. Rifted.

Rich. A sweetheart. And so.

Last but not least, from Ikira. Well, not last. I keep saying last. I got this. This is a bodysuit. It also has the pants. It's a one piece. And one thing that I'm trying to do, listen, I'm trying to put clothes together, looks together so that when I get ready to go, I work so hard.

Until if somebody ask me, at. At in the evening, let's go out, I'm too tired. One, I gotta do my hair. Two, I gotta figure out what to wear. I'm sick of that. So that's why I'm putting looks together for seven days at a time. Sunday. You remember how you were younger and your mama would say, get your school, your school stuff together. I'm putting my stuff together on Sundays.

And I just may wear it all day. Here's another outfit.

You know, let me take this off. This is one shirt, right? I can wear this down, like, I can. This is this shirt that you see on top of it and is actually dressing this outfit down because it looks real clubish. But when I get ready to go to the club, it's a copper set.

And it's too cute. Too freaking cute. So, yeah, would I. Would. Would I dress it down during the day and then pull this part off at night and go on and go hit whatever my sister want to hit that night? Yeah, I will.

And.

I have this. So.

I know y' all can't see the vision possibly with this, but this has sort of a pleather collar. This is a Ralph Lauren. No, this is a Gap shirt, pinstriped Orange. And underneath here, I have some shorts. Some vegan. Vegan leather shorts. So the vegan leather shorts. With that, I'm gonna have on some vegan leather boots. Tha High boots. And. And it's. Y' all gonna be good and murdered. Now, I had not worn this. This was from Akira. This thing was $15. I'm about to start wearing everything in my closet. So latonya is about to stop shopping until I have worn every single thing in my closet. I gotta stop.

So last thing that I bought out of Kira. This is like a must have for anybody to me. This can go under a blazer with some jeans under another shirt. It could just go with so many things. Like, it's such a versatile piece. Super cute. This was 15 at Akira.

Willowbrook Mall. Mess with my niece, Morgan. All right, so I got some places to go this week. This is the first thing that I'm going to wear. Well, maybe not first, but this is one of the things that I'm gonna wear. It's. You see, boys lie.

Men might not, but boys do. And it's gonna go with this red dress, red skirt. That skirt is phenomenal. I'll let y'. All. I'll do a video when I'm going out and show y' all what it looks like.

Another look that I'm gonna do. This is the Mindy dress. It's a long dress. It's long sleeve. And I paired it with these. Akira. Both of these are from Akira, probably from last year. I ain't never wore them out. These pants were 15. And this still has the tags on it for probably 15 as well. No, $10 for the dress, 15 for the pants. But they're denim on one side and vegan leather on the other. That's something. I'm wearing it this week. I already tried it on. It's. It's a murderer.

As I go down. These are Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren pants. Ralph Lauren, like a cargo pants.

And I'm wearing it with this shirt. You'll get a chance to see it. This is a Ralph Lauren shirt that I'm wearing with a.

With these pants. So you have their purple. This has purple in it with this purple shirt. Like a plaid type look.

And.

Last but not least for this week.

Is this.

Second. I can't. I don't even know which way to go. Oh, yeah, go this way. Okay. This look. This is a dress. It's a long sleeve dress. It has red, white, blue, and gold. This is a red shirt that I'm probably gonna pair with it. And I possibly may wear this with some jeans. Haven't quite figured that all the way out yet, but we're gonna figure it out. Okay? And again, as I wear this, I'll do a video.

And I'll do a real.

A short video and let y' all see how it's looking once I put it all together. Okay. And one other thing that I purchased, the last thing. Let me show you what made me purchase it. So I got this Sequence jacket a while back. I wore it not that long ago. It's Levi's with sequins, shoulders with sequence arms.

I wore it with some black jeans.

And I have quite a bit of stuff that goes with these boots. So These mules were 20 bucks at Akira Real Basic.

These were 40.

You might not see the vision, baby, but you will. When I put it on.

See that.

These were 40. And then those other boots with the denim and white, that was 42, 40 as well. All right, so that's my haul. I want to start doing these types of lives every single Monday. Monday you'll get a chance to see my outfits, because I'm going to put my outfits together every Sunday. So I might not be. You know what I'm saying? I might. I don't know what I'm gonna have on, but we'll see. We'll see how this goes. I have to get rid of some of the stuff in my closet because when you keep buying stuff, you need room. So I'm considering starting a thrifters group because we don't have one. Like, what's in my brain. I want a thrifters group where I'm not taking my good stuff to Goodwill and giving it to them for free, for them to sell it again and for me to possibly buy it again. I know it sound crazy. Don't judge me, honey.

I want to start a group, though, and that group will be a membership. You get into the membership for a little bit of nothing, but you can put together your clothes that you want to get rid of, and somebody else in the group can say, oh, I want that. And you can sell it for whatever price you want to sell it for. Is it like a poshmark? It's more of a community of us, where it's like a face. Our own Facebook. It's like our own Facebook and we are a community. And we give out, like, some very nice pieces and some little, you know, basic pieces that'll go with this and that'll go with that, because you always gonna need some type of little basic piece okay, so.

You get the fabulous. You get a variety of different things. And what do y' all think about that? Put that in the chat. Let me know what you think of that idea. Comment. And it's a good way for us to, you know, you buy things, you find great things. And even if we just do this and show each other what we bought, honey, that's just fun. Don't you enjoy that?
