And today, again, this is Makeover Monday. So what I'm doing, you may see me go off screen just a little bit sometimes, but what I'm doing is.

I'm. I might be changing clothes or getting clothes, and I'm setting up my camera still.

So, yes, that's what we are doing. And, you know, I don't have all of this stuff perfect. I see. You see what I got on? Let me get my little stuff off the chair over here so you can get the whole vision of what I wore today.

This is my outfit of the day.

Because I'm going live on Instagram, too.

All right, so this is the look, and I'm gonna tell you, I didn't get a chance. This was on the other live that I had for my week, and I didn't get a chance to show you guys how that turned out. But let me lower my camera a little bit.

Again, y' all gotta be patient with me, because I'm learning how to do this and setting all of this stuff up, and some of this is my first time doing all of these different channels.

And I still don't know if you can see it all the way, but that's better than nothing.

Okay. So.

All right, so this is what I wore today.

And guess what, y'? All, I got these little boots. So to me, this is something that I was just trying, right? I had these. This is thrifted, this polo Ralph Lauren. You see that beautiful patch on the side? I could wear that with some brown boots. These pants were thrifted. And this is actually a summer outfit for me. But if you look at these boots.

Baby, I got them from teemu. Let me tell you something. They fit good. They fit all the way up my leg, all the way above my knee. And the only thing that I wish they didn't have an eight and a half. And I got an eight. So I feel my toe at the end of the shoe. But I ain't even tripping about that because it doesn't hurt. I just feel it. And so one of the things that I was doing with this belt, just to give me a little bit of couture, was leave it open.

Keep it like that. And then this is the look.

With the boot, I don't know if you can see it. I don't have a whole bunch of room in my office, so I'm still setting everything up. But.

If you can see this with this boot and the detail, this jacket is a thrifted jacket. Yeah. And it's nice. It looks nice. Now, if I want to tone this down, of course I can. I can wear some riding boots with this and another jacket. I also have a black. No, I have a dark brown or just brown.

Sweater. It's a Louis. No, a Ralph Lauren sweater that has, like, a fur collar. I could put that on with some riding boots, baby. And I'm still live. Like, I'm still that girl.

Yeah. So let me go and get into the other things that I had for y'. All. Broke my dog on hanger. I ain't got enough hangers to be breaking none of them. So guess what? Struggle bus hanger going back in my closet. Yes. Yes, it is.

All right, so you know what? This week, I'm gonna go with a lot of stuff that I'm gonna turn dresses into. Like, wear pants under dresses. So this is one of them. I know y' all saw this. I thrifted this week before last. I have my elephant brooch on here, right? And to make it more. I mean, this is, of course, a spring outfit, but to make it a little bit more.

Wearable this winter, I got this mesh top from Akira. As you can see, this had the lime green. I tried it on, y', all, and it really didn't look bad. Really didn't look bad. And I'm gonna wear a pair of jeans with this.

Not sure which jeans, but if I show you, like, this jean under here.

Like that as a dress, it might turn out nice. Don't let me fool around. And put no live jacket on, which I have a jacket that's about that blue color.

And I have another red one. So I'm gonna play around with this. But this is one of my outfits for the week that I'm gonna wear jeans with. Okay? And like I said, I'm trying stuff with dresses, but this is one that I have not worn before. And I'm wearing everything in my class. So my goal here is to wear everything in my dog on closet. Man, I'm sick of this. For the month of February. Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus asking me, asking you to please don't let me shop no clothes. Just let me ride on by my mama. Lord was trying me. She asked me to go to the thrift shop on a sale day yesterday. I said, I can't, I can't. It was the hardest thing I've ever done. But. So this is a tuxedo like shirt. I don't know if you can see that detail with this zebra print vest. And I'm going to wear these and then some shoes and a purse. Now, the shoes that I wear, I'm gonna put a pop of color in this. So I may wear my burgundy booties or even my yellow booties. I haven't quite decided which shoes, but I. You better believe I'm gonna put a pop of color in there, put on my good jewelry and be out. Okay. And I know that I said that I was gonna post my good outfits as I wear them. Oh, y' all know I ain't no picture, girl. The best I could probably do is try to.

Figure out a way for me to have this camera and just do a. I don't know, child. I ain't treated all of it out.

I have not figured it all out. Then this is another outfit. This is another dress outfit that I'm going to wear with a pair of jeans. And it's not. Yes, a dress. I. I was about to say it's not a dress. It's a dress, goddamn. It comes with this belt. Not sure if I'm gonna wear this belt, but it comes with a belt. It's a dress. I'm gonna put these jeans under.

Opens. This is sheer. It's buttoned down. It opens right here.

And so bam. That's gonna be one of my outfits. And then don't fool around. And let me put no hat on this week, because I'm thinking about. I have a lot of different hats, and I'm gonna start wearing my good hats. Okay, so that's one. This came from a thrift shop called the cottage, but it's actually brand new. And I don't know, I paid maybe 10, 15 bucks for this.

And then my jeans.

Now, there'll be a different, different gene, of course, but you get the idea. Oh, and I might.

This is just something that I'm playing with. I might, with the jeans on, throw this crop top, denim jacket on top of it.

And then have that with the jeans. Then have a pair of jeans under it.

And so it'll be somewhat like that.

See that?

That might look cute. I don't know. I'm just playing with it. I mean, I'm in my, my, my artistic fade right now. So however this goes, baby, it goes. You hear Me.

Okay. And.

The reason that I'm doing this, y', all, is I've been looking at all of the girlies. Well, you know what? So my style icon.

Was Lazara, and I'll have to show you a picture of her. She passed away of cancer at a very young age, but she was my style icon. So this is another dress show y' all how this thing. If I can. Hopefully you can get the picture with me having clothes on today.

But if I can, I'm going to show you how this looks on.

I started to wear jeans just so that I could. Because a lot of this stuff is going with jeans.

So this is. This. You tie this in the front.

Into a little knot. They were showing me on the doggone thing how to tie a real good knot. Oh, but that one ain't bad. Look at that real quick. Okay. And then this is actually a wrap dress. So I'm not gonna wrap the dress. I probably leave it open like this. I'm thinking about. Because I will never wrap this. So I'm thinking about just cutting these strings off.

Because I'm not gonna. Baby, I'm not gonna wrap this thing. But I could, you know, it might, you know, as a wrap dress during the summer or if I'm going somewhere, you can still see a little of the pants. I don't know. But I gotta figure out how to hide it for now, because I ain't. I'm not. Do I wrap around my neck? Hello. Doing too much. Doing Latin. Doing the most. Again. Doing the most. You just did the most. Okay. Always doing the most. I don't want that, but I doubt if I'll wear this as a dress because it falls so pretty just like this look. So I can just cut these strings off and wear it like that. And then the denim that I'm gonna wear, I'm wearing a darker denim with darker stitching.

These seven jeans. Did y' all know sales? We have seven jeans. And these mugs fit like.

I love them. They are. My 17 is my favorite jean, so I'm gonna wear it like this.

At the Nutcracker Market, baby. I fooled around and found me a good hat.

So your girl. Oh, let me show y' all this hat. Let me. Let me get you in on this good hat, child. Let me. Let me get you in on all of the detail of this.

You see that?

Y' all see that hat? Yes. Gives it to the people, baby. Don't make me fool around and cut my.

But I could wear it like that, or I could wear it back a little bit. Have my good jeans on, my hat. And that girl so cute.

What y' all think? I think she's that girl. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now this. Okay, so every now and then you hit an outfit, you'd be like, oh, that's super cute, tj. This is one that's super freaking cute with this head. All of the others, you know, I'm playing with them. They ain't my favorite, but they cute. But sometimes you feel like you really be giving it to the people. And. Yeah, that's one that I'm. I'm really giving it to the people. I'm really giving it to y'. All. So I have another jacket.

And this actually might be two weeks worth of clothes, and I'm showing y', all.

But this was thrifted. Beautiful, thrifted jacket. It's from Route 21. Look at that purple.

That one. That's what made me get it. And then I'm just gonna put on a good little bodysuit. Honey, put that bodysuit on.

Maybe get me some heels.

That are purple. Try my best to let y' all see my purple while I'm wearing it, because, baby, that purple. And I know I have some purple heels, but I don't know if I have, like, all purple. I think they are purple with lime green and stuff, but I don't know. We'll see. Your girl got to get them toes done. So, yeah, this is another one. So I have shown you.

So far. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Outfit. Okay, so I might be good. One of the outfits that I didn't get a chance to wear last week. I want to try that on for y', all just so that you can see how this mug went, because it was cute. So y' all gotta be a little patient with me.

While I take these boots off and put that outfit on. But it was cute, so I really want to show it to you. And I know I said I was gonna be showing you stuff as I wear it, baby, but dang, that, I don't like taking pictures. So that. That's real, real hard for me. Now.

What else?

I should have brought my hats down here, but I didn't. As you could see, I got a little zebra thing going on this week, and it's cute. So I'm gonna sit here. I'm gonna take my little boots off. I want you to see this boot comes above me.

Again. This is the Teemu boot. It's like a ribbed material. It fits my leg good. And I promise you it was under 20. It might have been $20. I don't remember. They also had it in pink, but it's super cute. Super duper, duper cute. Okay, let me get off camera real quick so I can put these pants.

Okay. So got my little pants on. These pants fit so good. While I was looking for my airpods, they in my pocket. And look for them things like dog on crazy lady, and they are in this pocket. So I. This is a thrifted belt. It's Kenneth Cole, baby. I got this built from goodwill for about $4.

These are the Ralph Lauren pants.

They are super cute thrift.

This shirt actually goes with the pants that I took off.

This is. That's what I bought it for. I didn't like when I first wore it. I didn't like it all that much because it was a little bit baggy. And this is purple in here. This is a little bit of mixture of purple and brown. And I wore the two. It was cool with the jacket, but it wasn't my favorite. I like it actually better with this outfit.

Going inside out. Okay. So I'm putting this on because I didn't feel like taking my shirt off. So you're gonna have to get the vision. How you get the vision, baby?

Okay, so then I'm tucking this. I'm buttoning this whole thing up. I ain't about to do all these buttons right now.

Now, I could do a couple of things. I could put one side in, leave one side out, but it looked really good all tucked in.

That's how it came out so far. And then I had my beautiful jacket. Now, I knew this is a jacket from the limited when I saw it. Baby, this jacket getting so much wear in my closet. It's an orange, deep orange jacket. It is getting so much wear in my closet because it's just nice. Oh, and y', all, tell me something. Is it tacky to have it? I need to take that off, right? I just need to get some doggone.

Things to take that off. I think it's tacky. So, yeah, this is how this came out. It was super cute with that belt.

And I had my good heels on. I can't remember what shoes I wore with.

Oh, I had my. I had some bluish heels on, because this color can either go for blue or purple. So I had some blue heels on with it. And, baby, they was clowning about this outfit. It has one button. It fits perfectly, but it looks good. Just like this. Real professional, cute little outfit. Go somewhere, look nice. You can tone it down and take this belt off and just put a regular brown belt on if you're not trying to do no extra. Okay? That's what my mama be saying, extra. So I'm just, you know, I know how to say extra. Okay. Okay. I'm a chemical engineer by education, but I don't feel like it. Who feels like being smart all the time? So this was my last outfit, guys. And, yeah, I just wanted to show you what I wore last week, the rest of this stuff. I'm gonna put it on this week with my little clothes, and we are going to be cute. I will try to show you. I have one picture that I'm gonna upload of the red dress with the sweatshirt, like, puff sleeve things I had on last week. You what that looks like and upload a picture of that. But yes, baby. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She doing it. She doing it.

See, the reason that I'm doing this, baby, is because I got so many clothes in my closet and. And your girl don't go nowhere. I go to business stuff, but I have going out. I have all kinds of clothes. And as you can see, it's really nice stuff. And so one of my goals is to, one, wear all of my clothes, and then two, what I don't like, figure out what I don't like and give it away. Okay? So I'm going through everything so that I know what to keep and what to throw away. She didn't know. Yeah, that's Tupac.

But you know what, Francis? That heel ain't real bad on that shoe. Let me show you. It's actually a low heel. Look at that. Heels way worse than this. I don't know if it. It's not. It's not. I'm telling you. It's not a bad heel. It's not a real high, ridiculous heel on this shoe.

And these are from Teemu. I mean, the quality is good. It fits my leg. Well. It's a ribbed material.

This is a size 40, which is actually, I think a size 8 in us, but, hey, Lawanda.

Yeah, A good watch or two. I do need a watch. I do need a watch. I need a watch, and I'm gonna get me a watch, you know? But one thing with me and watches, I am. My body is super electric. And normally when I get watches, man, I'm telling you, the battery keeps going out within a freaking week. My mama said that would happen to her, too, so. Girl Rich, I even need a Rolex, and I ain't ready to invest in a Rolex right now. Maybe a faux Lex, but not a Rolex. But if the folks don't work, then I ain't gonna wear no watch. Just to have a watch on the don't tell time. That's dumb.

I don't know. But, yeah, definitely a good watch. That'll be good. That'll be real good.

All right, all right. The real real. Oh, the real real has some good watches. I don't.

I don't. And they ain't gonna break my bank because I told you. See, there you go. I just said I ain't shopping in February. Now you're gonna have me going to look at the real reel to buy the watch. It's a never ending tunnel, this shopping thing. You can keep going and keep going and keep going, and guess what? It's ridiculous. You're gonna have to have another class. I don't want another closet. I want to keep closets that I have. Okay. And get rid of some of this stuff because I know that there are some burgundy boots that I need to get rid of. I can go them shoes. And there are some other shoes I know. And then there's this one shirt, maybe two, maybe three shirts that I need to get rid of. Really, really nice. I paid a lot for them, but wearing them, so I may as well get rid of them. One of them. You remember that look that had the mock collar? It was plain and then had like snakeskin coming down the sleeves? Yeah. That's one of them that I might get rid of.

I'm thinking about it. Can I remix it and still wear it? It's not really in season, but who cares? Who really is caring about some seasons? That white man in season that I'm wearing anyway, so, you know, it's just your girl being your girl.

Oh, $50 and up. Oh, boy. For a watch. Okay, I'm gonna have to look at the real. And do any of you thrift? So let me know in the comments if y' all are thrifters, because I was thinking about starting a thrifters community where we can buy, sell, and exchange each other's clothes. Like trade. Like, if you see me with this on and this is something that I'm about to get rid of, and then you have a good watch like you talking about that you need to get rid of. Then I give you my good purple shoes or burgundy shoes for that good watch. And yeah, it's a match, honey. Match made in heaven. What y' all think about that? I'm thinking about it. It's one of the things that I'm thinking about because I want to do some stuff that I enjoy. I do a lot of stuff, but I want to do some stuff too that I enjoy doing right? You'Ll end up wearing the same thing over and over again and not getting all of your clothes if you don't plan. It's just like with eating and meal prepping. You got a freaking meal prep, you got to get your clothes together for the week. It all needs to be ironed and ready to go. If not, baby, you gonna stay in the house and I'm gonna grab some sweats or something and keep moving because stuff just comes up and I have to go.

I have become the leader of a networking organization. That was something that I hadn't planned. I want leadership because leadership comes with responsibility and.

But so we meet on Wednesdays in Pearland. If anybody is in the Houston area and you're a business owner, we are looking for service oriented businesses like plumbers, electricians, if your husband is one. If you know somebody, let your girl know because we're looking for them so that we can refer them business. We're all about referrals and getting each other business. And.

Yeah, so you can have more business than you want and then be able to contract out business if you have enough business. It's time for you to grow. It's time for you to grow. It's time for you to get some partners. It's time for you to hire some crews, right, so that you can expand. Because expansion is a part of business.
