Notaries Will Make Money Even If the Economy tanks - Solutions By TJ

TJ explains why notaries are leaving loan signings: recession, high rates killing home sales, and too many notaries competing for $35 jobs. Real estate is cyclical and will rebound by mid-year, but notaries need to stop accepting poverty wages and diversify income now.

Hey, this is TJ with solutions by tj. And you know what, I'm coming to do this video because I'm seeing people bail from this industry, left and right. Notaries that came in excited about this opportunity are now leaving in droves. And man, hey, listen, I get it because everybody gotta pay their bills, right? This was a huge opportunity. People making more money than they ever made before. But I'm seeing a lot of people that started are leaving. Not just notaries, but content creators as well, including myself. Hello. And so I just want to talk about what my theory is about why so many people are leaving the industry. Not a bad thing, not a good thing. It just is what it is. So reason number one, why people are leaving the industry is because, man, recession, right? Inflation. You know, if you look up the definition of what a recession is, it is negative growth for a consecutive two month time period. So that means that the economy did not grow in two months. That's just the definition, right? Right now the interest rates have gone up. People are hesitant to buy right now. Plus right now it's the holidays, okay? So ain't nobody buying. November, December. Let's get that straight. The recession, right? Interest rates are up. Home buyers are not buying right now. So what that means for no reason is that we are not getting the work that we're accustomed to. It has slow way down. One, because of the season, two, because of the recession and the interest rates. Now here's my theory on how this is going to go. You know, real estate is cyclical. It's a cycle. It goes up and down. And we've been through this before. During the recession, interest rates may go up, but prices on homes have to equalize because they got, baby, this is Houston, Texas. They got out of control. What we used to pay $150,000 for tripled, okay? I mean the ghetto $50,000 house, you can't even buy land no more for less than 150,000. What trash. So all of that stuff has to come to equilibrium. And that's a good thing for all of us. So it's still a great time to buy. Plus if you're renting, man, these rents are ridiculous.
One bedrooms, seventeen hundred dollars a month. Hello. You may as well get a mortgage, sweetie poo. And that way, you know, it's not going to go up anymore. So that's affecting everybody throughout the United States. My theory is that when the first of the year comes, we're going to see people start back buying houses. That's my theory. We're going to see the home prices drop even more. And if people continue not to buy for the houses that are on the market, they're going to continue to drop. So then that pricing that we saw, that triple is going to come back down where it's supposed to be a good thing. So I'm going to do another video, so stay tuned on how you can make money. Baby, nobody's made money. Regardless, regardless, regardless of what time it is, right? Regardless of what's happening in the market, whether it's up or down, we make money. So if you are bailing, you're bailing because you chose one area and you don't understand the whole business of this thing. But I don't worry about it. I got you. I got you. So yeah, that's my theory. By the summertime we're going to be pumping again and that's what's happening. Notaries got to pay their bills. They're seeing that signings have gone down and so they got to go back to 95 or do something else, which is cold. Because the ones of us that stick and stay and understand that this is a cycle and have other things to maintain our income during this time, we still kill. And there's an equilibrium in the notary community too because there became a whole lot of us. Now that's shrinking again. Now that means more money for us. Which brings me to my second point. There were so many notaries in the business, so many people started learning about the notary public loan signing agent opportunity, started figuring out that we make a whole bunch of money. Maybe notary, you know what I'm saying? It just. This is not what people thought it was. They thought that notary $6. When they learned that you could make some real goddamn money being a notary, everybody wanted in. They actually came in not at the beginning of the cycle, not at the middle, but the middle end of the cycle is when we saw a whole bunch of people flooding the industry. All right, I ain't got a problem with that.
But when people flooded the industry, everybody is trying to get on to snapdocs signing order bank serve Amrom. So guess what? The signing services could name their price. And we as notaries, especially new notaries, didn't understand our value.
We control this. We didn't understand our value. So we started accepting the kooky prices. Because when there is a whole bunch of supply, right, the price goes down. When the demand is high, right, the price goes up.
Hope that makes sense. But you know, there were so many of us we drove the pricing down. We could have stabilized it by not accepting those jobs. Some people were still trying to eat and accepting the little $35 jobs. $75 jobs for 400 pages. I know you lying. I know you lying. Not only were they still accepting those jobs. Gas is goddamn. What?
Gas was almost $4. $4, 3.99. It never quite reached that. No, I'm lying. It did reach over $4. It did. So the pricing that they were giving us, it just don't make sense. You can't live off of that. But people that don't understand business had to learn that. And there are a lot of people, this is their first time doing something outside of a 9 to 5, so they didn't understand. We all learn. We all learn through this process. So that's my second point. We didn't know our value. We drove the prices all the way down. Signing services. My third point. Signing services.
You know, some title companies just weren't paying us what we needed to live on anymore. So you can't make the same living that you were making previous to everybody coming into the market. That's my third point. The pay versus the expenses. What? Nah, it don't match. So that's driving people back to work now. Some people, you know, even though the prices were low, they made more money than they had ever made before. Some people that had never made $3,000 a month was still able to make $3,000 a month just doing that.
So they stuck and stayed. Took those prices, drove the market down. But now is our opportunity. For those of us who are still in the market, for those of us who still see this as an awesome opportunity, I'm one of those because I understand the cycles. Listen.
We can eat again.
Understand your value and get paid what you are worth. At all circles. Understand your value and get paid what you are worth. But if you're gonna get paid what you're worth, don't be worth a nickel and a dime. Okay? Make sure that your accuracy is on point. Make sure that your professionalism is on point. Make sure that you are worthy of the highest prices in the industry.
And get your money. And if you need to take additional training in order to do so, if you need to know everybody, whatever you need to get to that point, get, get to that point. This is not an industry where you can just come in and you don't have to study. You have to study, you have to learn. The dots change with different companies. Everything changes. I have been in this for a long time and I still call the NNA sometimes. You know what? I still call them probably once a week. I see something that I'm like, oh.
It'S constantly changing. That's the environment that we're in. So, anywho, that's my two cent. I love y' all to life. But look at the next video, because I'm going to be talking about if I don't fall in the next video, I'm going to be talking about how we can make money during this time because the notary business is actually recession proof, whether you know it or not. Recession, inflation, don't. None of that matter, baby. We made money. All right. See you on the next video. God bless.
