Hey, this is TJ with Solutions by tj. And listen, I had to tell you how my daughter, a teen, just made $100 in 15 minutes. Stay tuned. Let me tell you all about it. Okay, so my daughter is a preteen. She made a hundred dollars in fifteen minutes doing freaking mystery shopping.
That's right. The whole family can get paid during mystery shopping. Listen, this is such a great opportunity. I just pray that, you know, you just look into it. It's not the old mystery shopping stuff that was back in the day. I had looked at it a long time ago too, and there were like five $10 shops. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm talking about $25 in 15 minutes, $100 in 30. I mean, it's really, really good money. There are plenty of hundred dollar shops. Just ask my tribe, they'll tell you. So back to Ms. Madison. So there was a shop that came up and it was for kids to go into convenience stores or even grocery stores or gas stations and ask to buy cigarettes.
Yes, has to buy cigarettes or any type of tobacco product. So I told Madison, hmm, this would be fun. And she said, yeah, cool. They were paying these kids $25 every time they did it. $25. Real easy money. You can copy and paste to fill that doggone survey out. It was good. So we were driving around looking for a corner. I wanted to find a cvs, a Walgreens, and two gas stations on corners. That was easy in my neighborhood. In 15 minutes, this girl hit four stores. $25 a pop, $100, baby, all day long. So she was ecstatic, right? We ended up doing that all day, going around looking at different places of where we could go for her to do her little mystery shopping gig. If you're interested in mystery shopping, the link is down below. Don't hesitate to get started today because that's not the only thing that we've done. Madison and I have also had an opportunity to go to the dadgum movies for free. These movie shops paid 18 bucks. So, you know, it's expensive to go to the doggone movies. I mean, unless you go during matinee. And I think matinee might be eight bucks. It's normally $12.
So we decided to go to the movies. We hadn't been since all of this stuff and, you know, you sitting there with your mask on or whatever. But it was free. And the survey wanted us to tell about the environment. Was the popcorn on the floor, Was the environment clean? Were the people nice? You know, blah, blah, Blah, blah, blah. The main one, though, why the kids were involved is because they wanted you to see if they would let children in rated R movies. Yes. So of course she can't get in a rated R movie. I have a preteen, so we did that. And how many times did she do it? We went to the movies. This was a free movie trip. The good part about it is, you know, it's something your child wants to do. She loved going to the movies. And it's free. Cool. Free for her at least. Of course, I had to pay, but I paid a reduced price because I was getting $18 a pop. So it's cheaper than me going to the movies without doing it when I needed to go to the movies with my kid anyway. So so far, we've done that three times. So 18 times three. Not bad. We got reduced price to the movies. Last but not least, I want to talk to y' all about how to get food for free.
So Madison loves fast food. I try to eat healthy. But listen, even at Chick Fil A, they have salad. Wendy's has an awesome chicken salad. A couple of them. So I'm doing mystery shops for us that pay $10 now. Yeah. You saying, oh, $10 ain't nothing. I don't wanna make $10. Listen, I got my food for free now. I just went through my budget with my cousin, and I've committed to myself to saving a certain amount of money. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But guess what? Doing this with these $10 meals that are totally free because I normally make my food and then I'll go out and buy hers. $10, I'm cutting down on my budget. That's a free meal. Madison's meal is only $8.52. I know it down pat because she eat the same daggum thing all the time. I don't see how she does that. She does. So she orders the same thing. $8.52. We get paid $10. Bam. We just ate for free with a little bit over, and she got a whole meal. I'm talking about burger, fries, and a drink. You can't beat that. So you can incorporate mystery shopping into your everyday practices. Right? And if you have multiple kids, then hit another little store. You know, these doggone places are pretty close. So hit another dog Jack in the box or whatever fast food place is on the app. Okay?
