So if you are having issues like buying your supplies, you know, I'm changing my, my view on this because I'm now thinking that people should start mystery shopping before they start buying all of the supplies for the notary stuff and allow that mystery shopping opportunity to fund your other businesses. Right? Because you can easily in one week pay for a printer. And we, we all know Those printers are 2 to $400. So that's a, that's a good amount of money.

And I want y' all to be good. For those of you who are reaching out to me, like I said, this is not my information. I can't always give it to you for free. You can make that in three days.

I'm crazy, so I can make it in one day. Because I just go bananas with stuff like that. You know, I overdo it. Don't, don't be like me. I tell my dog, hey, take the good, don't take the bad. I overdo it. I know I do. So, yeah, get on that because it's real important, but it's going to be worth it. And it's stuff that's going to change your life. And you know the Apostille thing, man, that's, that's awesome money. I've talked to a, a couple of people about it. I know you guys have been reaching out to Machiavelli about the Apostille thing, the tax thing, his business on insurance. All of that stuff is awesome. Make sure that you have your base and that you can afford stuff. And let me tell you that $100 for the mystery shopping is sort of a no brainer because you can get your money back in a day or less. And for the people who are going through that email and calling me or emailing me saying, tj, I'm disappointed. I wasted my money. I looked on the app and all, I see there's nothing in my area.

I sent out a lot of links. Do not just look at the first link and contact me. Don't not go through all of the information and then say that you're disappointed. You. I.

It ain't nothing else for me to do. I gave it all to you. You have to look through everything. Take your time. I know that y' all are excited. Take your time and go through it though, because you have everything that you need to make money. I promise you. There are shops in your area. Everywhere there is commerce. Commerce meaning people are buying stuff. You have stores to buy groceries, you have gas stations, you have hotels, you have.

Whatever people are making money doing. Yeah, there are shops for it. And so we put together a list of some awesome shops for vacations where when you go on vacation, you can do shops, man, and make a freaking killing. Not only that, I mean, you could just use the shop as its own. It's crazy. Wait till y' all see this new stuff. Oh, I'm excited about it. And I have some collaborations coming up with a few people. You know what I think? Because so, because so many people are contacting them, it's taking them at least two to three weeks from what I've seen.

So give them time. But in the meantime, I'm doing a video that we're putting out this week and I'm gonna give y', all, just because you're here, I'm gonna give y' all a little spoiler. And these are companies that I've already talked about. Right. I'm doing a video about the five signing companies that you need to sign up with today in order to get jobs. Snapdocs is on that list. But man, Amrock.

My cousin, couple of my students are making a full time living off of Amrock Firma. Right? Don't go, don't go low on coast to coast because those $30 jobs add up, y', all, and they don't take that long. Like Nico has quite a few of them and we're going to go through her paperwork. I'm excited about that. She's finally gotten into Snapdocs. But.

Those $30 jobs give you an opportunity to get your feet wet. Get, get comfortable with the docs, get comfortable with being in front of your clients. So don't don't shy away from those jobs because they, they. They will really help you in the end.

I live in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina. Not much here. What about real estate shopping? So, Maurice, have you gotten the, the other. Have you gotten the mystery shopping package yet? And when you say not much here, what exactly do you mean, not much here? Not many stores, not many shops. And what, what are you close to? Like, I'm in Houston. So the weird thing about Houston is you can drive through Houston for an hour and still be in Houston. So going an hour north, south, east, or west is normal to me. Whereas when I lived in Virginia, because I lived in Herndon, Virginia, and, you know, Virginia, DC, Washington, you shoot 15 minutes, you hold somewhere else. And it's like that in a lot of places on the East Coast. So I guess what I consider not far. 30 minutes away, 30 miles away. That's not far. To me, that's pretty easy. It's part of me going to the other side of Houston, but to some people, that's kind of far.

And Miranda is saying, you don't have to leave your bedroom. They have virtual shops. She's working on ones in Washington, D.C. making money. And Miranda, you don't live in D.C. correct. So you're doing them all over. That's awesome. That's awesome.

Has some stuff going on this week.

Look in the group and you'll see what I'm talking about. The notary institution. Do you have any other companies? Like, what would you recommend? Companies that you'd recommend that they need to get on, like, right now to start getting jobs? Because some people just, you know, snapdocs is becoming like, where if you're a new notary public loan signing agent, it's taking a while, number one, for them to verify you. And then once you are Verified. They are not sending notifications to a lot of not. It just kind of depends because I have a lot of new people in Sugar Land. One guy is killing it and he started getting notifications like day one. But let me remind you, when you get a job, even if it's those coast to coast jobs, when you put 25 of those jobs that you've gotten into Snapdocs, Snapdocs automatically says, oh, you're killing it. Let me send you more notifications. So when you hit that 25 job mark, you'll start getting notifications. So that's another good reason to just take these small jobs. Just get your foot in the door. And don't forget what I said about calling these title companies, right? If they are working with someone and you can do something for a cheaper price, they might take it and try you out. You just never know.

Okay. Do you have to do notary jobs before we start working as an nsa? No, I was a notary long before I became a notary public loan signing agent, but that doesn't matter. You can go directly into learning how to be a notary public loan signing agent so you don't have to stair step and do one thing and then grow up to do another. You can just go right into it.

Camille, would you recommend a separate cell phone number for your notary business? I've heard many different opinions on this. Any other options? So, Camille, I use a service called Call Rail. C A L L.

And what CallRail does is it'll give you a business number. I can't remember how much it costs, but it ain't much. It ain't more than 25amonth. But I use that for different businesses. That's why I have it. I have up to 10 numbers on call rail and I use it for notary real estate and just all other kinds of stuff. We have a child care business. My little cousin has a photography business. So we have numbers, all kind of numbers for all kinds of stuff. But if that's what you want to do, feel free. That. That is a good idea. Now, do you have to have a separate phone? I don't know. I'm kind of funny because I don't mind giving people my number. Like, I don't know, maybe that's not the safest thing. I'm trying to figure it out. I don't. I'm probably not the best person to ask that question because I just give my number out, and I don't care. I'm not attached to my telephone number where I can't change my number. So.

That'S my opinion. I give my own person. What do I do? I give my own personal number out, especially the signing companies, because I don't want to not have that phone. Like, I can't keep up with this one phone. I have this thing called tile. I don't know if y' all have heard of tile, where it'll find your phone and find your keys. It's so much going on in my brain until. Yeah, I can't be carrying two phones, girl. I can't find one. I have.

What's the number one thing you do to protect yourself during COVID 19? The number one thing that I do to protect myself, in all honesty, I. Well, I'm ocd, so I wash my hands a lot anyway. It's a little bit about me, and I definitely wear my mask. And, you know, I'm still not that person that's out and about a whole lot. I don't. Still don't like large crowds. I want to go somewhere and socialize and chill, but I don't want to be the only weirdo in there looking with a mask on, because I don't feel comfortable just being with a whole bunch of people without a mask. I just.

I don't want to. I can't. I don't feel like it, and I don't feel like being sick. So I avoid large crowds, and when I have to go places, I'm wearing my mask, and I have hand sanitizer, and I'm constantly sanitizing my hands.

And washing my hands. That's how I'm protecting myself. And during. When COVID 19 first started for signings, I was telling my. My mentees, listen, let people know. Let your clients know that you are in and out of houses all day. You come in contact with a whole lot of people, and in order to keep them safe as well as yourself, suggest that y' all meet in cars in a parking lot. Starbucks parking lot, well lit area. They're in their car, you're in yours. You pass them the documents through the window. They show you your ID through the window and you can take a picture of it. You know.

You can personally identify them. That's still considered face to face. And they're in the comfort of their car signing the documents. And y' all are on the phone going through the documents page by page. So that's what we did.

Yeah. To become a notary, a Texas notary, there is not a course, but there is a course to become a notary public loan signing agent, where you sign loan documents.

This is. Man. I'm gonna do this as a trivia question because I've heard different things. Jeanette. I've been told that Mark Wills tells people to put the documents in a certain order and take them out of the order that they're sent in. I have been told by the companies that hire me to keep all of the pages exactly as they are when they send them to you. They want all of that stuff just like they sent it to you. That's the order that they want it in. So that's what I do. I don't. I don't separate those documents. I keep the docs in the same order that they were printed in.

Linda said that she's been on two jobs through signing order, and you were able. And she was able to name her price. That's awesome.

Is Mark Wills a good training course to take?

So here's the deal with that, Kim.

It depends on how you learn. That's what I tell everybody. It depends on how you learn. I learn by doing. I learned by looking at my own documents. Because for some reason, that's when it clicks into my brain that this game time is serious. So if you learn with one on one help and by doing, then your best bet is to get a mentor. If you learn by looking at a screen, going over modules and somebody talking, then Mark Will's course will probably be best for you. That's my. My take on it. I could tell you that a lot of people have who have gone through his course are still contacting me to be their mentor because they want somebody, they want that hand holding to go through their own documents. And I totally understand that because that's me too. Like, that's when it counts. I mean, because.

These documents change all the time. I have not. The only time I got the exact same documents is when I worked with the exact same company over and over and over again. And if they had a closing that was out of town, then of course their documents would even change. So.

Yeah.

I know, Sean. That's weird.

Okay, so D, I have my regular and E notary license in Texas, but I'm confused. Who's the best company used to get my notary public loan signing agent certification? D. Most people go through the NA National Notary Association. That's who I went through. That's who my whole family has gone through. You get everything there. Call them. That website is hell to pay. Call them and get it done. That's my suggestion.

Okay, CPA hustles. It looks like New Jersey does not require a course. They don't require a course to be a notary public loan signing agent. Is that what you're saying CPA hustles. Can you do it without a course? I feel like I would know what I was doing. And that's the thing. So what I would do. If they don't require a course.

I'd probably still take a course, to be honest with you. Because there are a lot of nuances in this notary signing agent stuff. And, and make sure that they don't require a course. To be a notary public loan signing agent. To be a notary, there is no course. But to be a notary public loan signing agent, most of the time there is because you're dealing with mortgage documents. So there's a distinction between those two. So check that out and, and make sure which one they're talk.

And I'd get a mentor too. CPA hustles especially.

I'd want to take a course too. I'm with you. I wouldn't feel like I know what I was doing.

How do we get Ron work for loan signings?

So Machiavelli talked about this last week, and one of the things is when people contact him for just, you know, notary work, he lets them know, well, we can do it. You don't even have to leave your home. So one thing is just mentioning it to people. The other thing that a lot of people are doing are signing up with notarized. And one notary, Sean, said that notarized this last week, mentioned or announced that you can bring your own clients to the platform.

Okay. So Linda says one of the main problems that new notary public loan signing agents have is getting those documents at the last minute because you still need to review and prep.

The issue with that is a lot of times the title companies get the clear from the lender to move forward with closing at the last minute and then it trickles down to the signing company and hence you get the documents at the last minute. Any suggestions for that?

No. My only suggestion would be to don't take same day jobs when you're brand new. Take a job one or two days out to give them time to upload the documents. And that's not even a guarantee because I've done that and then still two hours before and I gotta drive an hour away and I'm fooling with them documents trying to get them prepared. So yeah, I don't really know the answer to that. It's gonna happen sometimes that you'll just have to, you know, go to your closing and you just got the docs. All I can tell you to do is read the information slowly.

Look through the pages. If you have one hour to prepare, that's all you need is one hour to prepare. If you have a mentor, look through those documents yourself. If you have a question on a page, note that page and then ask your mentor those pages. Right. Because a lot of times you don't have a question on every single page.

So.

Make sure that you go through those documents yourself because even as a mentor, when y' all get documents at the last minute and I don't know, I can't help you because then I'm busy. Right. But if you can ask me one off questions and I'm on my job trying to answer you under the table, it's a mess.

In Alabama, my brother got his notary in the same day. They didn't require course our background. He just had to get $25,000 of EO insurance. Gotcha.

In Pennsylvania you have to take a three hour course before you can even fill out the application as a general notary. Wow. And then you have to pay $65 to take the exam. That's interesting.
