Hello. Hello. Hello.
I am a few minutes late.
Coming on, but I know that all of my friends are coming.
Y' all are used to me being on time. I'm sorry.
I took a nap at my cousin's house, and then Madison had homework that she needed my cousin's help with. So I'm about four minutes later than I normally am.
But I have so much to talk to y' all about. It has been a perfect week. I'm excited.
Yesterday, Madison and I went to Lake Charles to volunteer and help them out. A lot of devastation in Lake Charles. Houses were flattened. People are just really, really.
Sort of destitute and living.
You know, living in not so great conditions in Lake Charles. Hey, y'. All. How you doing?
So we went to help out in Lake Charles. I found.
Potentially some great opportunities for real estate in Lake Charles while I was there. We did get a lot accomplished. One of the awesome things that we got accomplished, though, is that a lot of people have been asking me, hey, tj, I am just a regular notary. How do I get regular notary jobs? And so I want to talk to you about that. I also want to mention some stuff about Snapdocs. So I'm excited about that and the remote online notary stuff. I know that Kendra had a live stream maybe yesterday.
Talking about marketing your remote online notary business. I'm going to go back and look at that, and eventually, I'm sure Kendra and I are going to collaborate so that we can get together and talk. It seems like the Texas girls are really, really, you know, stepping it up and trying to get our people in the world onto this notary thing, because we're normally the last people to know about everything, so. Hey, Sarah. Hey, Ms. Holly. Lawanda, Lashana, Rita, Monica. Yes. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. I am excited. As I said when I first got on, I have some exciting stuff to talk about. The first thing that I want to talk about is getting more notary jobs, even if you're not a notary public loan signing agent. So I talked to this guy yesterday in Lake Charles. There were a lot of Houston people who were down there volunteering in the efforts to restore Lake Charles and pass out supplies and just get everything ready. So needless to say, I met this guy, and he told me I was explaining to a lady who was recently laid off from her job about the notary opportunity, which I'm super duper. You know, God just works in mysterious ways. And I'm. I appreciate the opportunity to be able to Share this with everybody, especially those people who are looking for work right now. This is a big deal. You know, it's a big deal to be able to pay close to 500, $600, maybe to.
Make that money in less than a week and have a, you know, an income coming into your household that's pretty good for anybody because there's plenty of work out there. Hi, Ms. Shirley. How are you? Nice to meet you as well. Hey, Ms. Kate and Carolyn.
I'm glad y' all are here. So what the guy told me yesterday was that you can go on to notarize.com, even as a regular notary. They pay you for doing notarizations on their platform. And $20 per notarization. I have not checked this out. However, I want y' all to go there and report back to me and let me know that that is real. I believe it's real. I have. Like I said, I haven't looked at it just yet. But you know what? Let's. Let's go there now.
I want to see it, and I'm gonna look at it with y', all, because if that's the case, I don't know if it's $20 per hour, $20 per notarization, but if that's the case, man, if you get $20 per notary, per notarization, and you can do that online, that's really good money, depending on how much traffic they get. And you're doing it remotely from your own house. So $20 in one hour. Let's say you do 10. That's $200 in one hour.
You can't beat that. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so glad that y' all are here, man. I. You know.
I rush and look like a crazy woman trying to get here just to be with y', all. So I. I appreciate it. Okay, so I have myself on my live stream on my phone, because when I go to a different screen, I can't see you, though. So.
That'S what I'm doing. I'm setting this up. Okay? Notarize is legit. Is a legit opportunity. Their HR person reached out to me. It is a real company, and I do believe that it's a real company. I've heard of them before, but I didn't know about the remote online notary opportunity where you can make.
Money $20 an hour. So that's what I'm looking for. Now. I'm sharing. I'm about to share my screen. Don't judge me like Mariama. Mariama kills me talking about all those tabs open, blah blah blah. Okay, here's Notarize and let's go to how it works.
And okay, upload your PDF, confirm your identity, connect with one of the notaries on a secure two way video call. Instantly download or email your notarized document. Okay, that looks awesome. I like the phone. I love that.
They say the same thing again. Great reviews, handling hundreds of notarizations. Okay, so let's see.
I want to see solutions for notaries.
Join the notarized platform and start earning today. Team up with one of the number one platforms, yada, yada, yada. Come on, tell me how much you pay. Now the signers come to you, literally. I love that because you remember I was telling people like I'm not really getting a whole bunch of notarizations on snapdocs. A lot of, you know, remote online notary requests. So this could be the answer. First, build your notary profile, upload your credentials, get approved within 3 days, pay 0 in Sign up fees. That all sounds good. I could do that. Complete the platform training assessment and you train on your terms.
Review our product training, jump into the simulator so you'll get a feel of what it's like and submit a test transaction. That is awesome. Then you start working. Choose when you work. So you set your own hours, you work wherever you want to get money for each transaction completed. Now that sounds good. So if it's $20 per transaction. Yeah, we all need to jump on this and leave the record keeping to us. We'll manage your electronic journal. Oh, I love that.
And here's what you need. We are onboarding notaries in the following states. So Florida, Nevada, Texas, Virginia.
Have all. Yeah, I have all of my stuff. You see they're saying I'm at least a 25,000. I keep telling people anywhere from 50,000 to 100 because you know, I'm the overinsured lady.
And then they say if you don't see your state, join the waiting list. So for all of my peeps who are in Florida, Nevada, Texas and Virginia, let's jump on it. I want to see how much they charge their clients.
For businesses and individuals.
Notarize the document. So and I'm looking at this because on Doc Verify.
By the time you get through recording and all of that, you spend about 25 to $35 getting a one page document notarized. So notarize one document. 25 to $35, that's about right.
Business Pro, 25 per notarization, $25 per notarization. Okay, so if you do mortgage document, then they'll pay $25 per notarization. That's dang. That's kind of expensive, but, hey.
And then they have custom enterprise pricing.
I love it.
But I still don't see how much notaries make.
I've heard $25, but.
Oh, wow, there's the team.
I love stuff like this. They look like such nice people.
Okay.
Operations manager. So they have openings here for remote.
Closings. Operations director.
Yeah, so they have openings here. If you're looking for a job and you're a notary Operations manager. You'd never know.
Might be able to get a job with notarized. It really looks like a good opportunity.
I wanted to see solutions for real estate. Buy and sell homes with notarized fully online and hybrid closings.
Available nationwide.
Experts on Ron.
Yes. Okay.
I like it. I like it, I like it. So between this and looking at Kendra's video, I think we all kind of need to jump on this and see how that goes.
So I clicked over. Let me see. Hey, miss Trissy. Hey, Sarita. Monica. Darkness falls. What is your name, honey? Because we talk about you offline.
I was in a meeting talking about how wonderful you are and how much good information you give. So type your name in.
Okay, Trissy. So, tj, I watched a webinar with notarized and did the training. They are paying $5 per notarization. Okay, so out of the. Okay, so out of the $25, you get paid $5 per notarization. And.
Where did he get $20 from, I wonder? Or is it $20 per hour?
That's kind of interesting.
So, Trissy, have you been on the platform and is. Are there a whole. Whole bunch of people on there?
Oh, Tammy. Now we know her name. Yes, Tammy. So, yeah, Trissy, let me know if there are a lot of people who come to that. And have you started doing any remote online notarizations? $5 per notarization. I'm sure it's not hard to do, but I would just really love to know how you make money doing it. Is it worthwhile to even do it?
Hey, Sarah, y'. All. Sarah been working. She's been getting those closings. And, yeah, she. She's getting it in.
$5 is the max we can charge in Virginia for.
Okay. For online notarizations, though, Tammy.
Right. So, Curtis. So, Kurt. Electronic notarization on notarized.com or electronic notarizations anywhere. Meaning is that the max that you can charge?
Y' all clarify that for me. And there was another thing that I wanted to look at. Man, I want to know that answer so bad.
Let me look at what they're.
I'm just looking.
So I'm gonna. I'm about to start getting people online to do different stuff with us.
To give us some trainings. Like, you know, they'll come on with me, and we'll all do the trainings. Hey, y'. All. Hey, that's me. I have 28 people watching. Make sure y' all hit that, like, button. So I want to go to Snapdocs real quick, because I heard that they have a new video out with tips on how to get jobs. And one of the people that I love so much, she is one of the people that I mentor, and they were talking about. I believe it's this video. Nah.
Oh, look at me. There was. There's some type of video that they just did talking about how to get more jobs on snapdocs. Why are there two different snapdocs accounts?
That's a little weird.
Okay, let's look at this one. This is saying they have 16 videos.
And I'm trying to see what their latest videos are.
Webinar.
These look like they're pretty old. So let's go to the other account, because they were telling me that there's a video that is really good. One of my friends, Brandy, I've known her for many years and.
How to contact companies you're working with, but she was telling me about this great video.
That they did, and.
Hold on, y'. All.
I do not see it.
Interesting. Oh, well, we'll have to look at it a little bit later. I'll have to find it and ask her where it was. Okay, so one notary us is way better. We'll look at that. Trissy. The cost to notarize a document on notaries on notarized is $25. I get it. But they only pay $5.
For.
How much are you paid as the notary? That's what I want to know. So, Kurt, for online notarizations, you are paid $25.
Okay. Yeah. I want to know how much a notary is paid.
Awesome. How do you pronounce that? I can't pronounce your name. Lady Jit. Lady jit. The digit.
Yeah. So, Sarah, it's a. Hey, if you can just sit at your computer and do it from your house, of course. That's way, way, way, way, way, way better.
Miss K. So you went to my. My calendar and it's full.
$5. That's crazy. I don't know if that's worth it. Okay, $25 for remote notarization in Virginia. So I would.
Get what I would charge for a wet ink notarization. If I jump on with them to do a run, I need to weigh the pros and cons. Absolutely.
Okay, April.
Well, thank you for coming and I will check my schedule. I should be available. Listen, guys. So.
I was telling y' all about snapdocs and. Let me finish that thought. So what Cindy told me about snapdocs was that.
After you've completed 20 notarizations with their platform, you should start seeing more notifications. I'm gonna say that again. After you've completed 20 or 20. I believe she said 20 might be 25. It was a two in front. But what I do remember is that when you complete a certain amount of notarizations, then you become.
You begin to see more notifications on your phone and begin to get more text. Because for whatever reason, I have mentees who, you know, have been on one week and they are killing it. I mean, getting all of these notifications and everything. And poor Ms. Cindy, man, I've been feeding her jobs. She's finally now getting more, but not quite as many as everybody else. I don't know why. So hopefully that changes. And we've contacted snapdocs, We've looked at her profile. She's copied my profile, so it's. It's right. But I don't quite know what else is going on. So I think I'm going to reach out to snapdocs and those. That's one group that I'm going to do a live broadcast with here with y' all so that we can interview them. What y' all think about that? I don't know if they're willing to do it, but we can try. And even if it's not at our regular 9pm time, maybe, you know, we can. I could interview them at another time. I want y' all to be there, though. So I'm gonna have to plan it in advance because I want everybody there to be able to answer their questions. And I really, really, really, really, really want to do it live.
But yeah, if you can, you know, as you get jobs from different people on snapdocs from different organizations, make sure that you go back and ask them, hey, how did I do? Can you make me one of yalls favorites? You know, put me on your favorites list. And that way, if you're on their favorites list. When they put out a job, you should be able to get those notifications because you're one of their favorites. Right.
So, Tammy, I was getting a rack of notifications out the gate when I signed up with Snapdocs this year. Yeah. And it's weird because some people aren't getting any and other people are getting quite a few. That's crazy. And me and Cindy are like, man, she lives down the street from me.
Awesome. So, yeah, I'm gonna reach out to them.
Elena. So how do I become a mentee? I am going to open up my calendar.
And I've been super duper busy, so I. I blocked out some of the times.
On my calendar because I'm spending a whole lot more time.
With people.
In my real estate coaching. I'm giving them a lot, lot, lot more of my time. And what I was realizing, and I don't know the reason for this, but people would schedule on my calendar. And then I take it out of my day, right? And I'm there, I'm waiting, and then nobody shows up. So when it's on my calendar, it messes me up because my calendars are usually full. So if I have maybe, you know, five to 10 people to talk to and you don't show up, then that messes my day up. It throws me all the way off. So I lessen the amount of hours and stuff that I'm doing consultations and free consultations regarding notary stuff. So.
And then now I'm seeing y' all saying in my calendar. There's no room on my calendar. So let me look.
I'll have to find out. I can probably do that a little later, but I'll. I'll check my calendar for sure and make sure that there are some spots open.
And I'm thinking about.
How I can do this best. And it's good for me. It's good for y', all because I do want to offer that support. I want to be here for y'. All. I enjoy it.
So. Yeah. How do you describe the indemnity and affidavits as to debts, liens, possessions, and continuous marriage documents in the refi package?
Aretha.
Not quite understanding what you're saying. How do you describe those documents? I don't give detailed information regarding the documents. My job is not to explain or describe the documents. I can read the document to you and say, you know, this document says, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But I cannot. It's not our job to describe those documents in any way. We can give them enough time to read it. We can read it along with them. We can read it to them. But when you begin describing the documents in detail.
You get into the practicing law thing, and that's not what we do. So I basically tell them, you know, the title. This page is for the indemnity. This is an affidavit to your debts. It's talking about, you know, and maybe if you were. So maybe what you mean is you want to give them a summary of what that document is, then you can say, this one is talking about the debts that you've had in the past, but it has to be exact language that's in the document. Affidavit to your debts. Have you collected any new debts since the time of the application? Since the time, you know, that type of stuff. But I say as little as possible about that stuff. When I arrive at the closing, I ask them, have you had an opportunity to review the documents? And if they say yes, then I say, great. So we're going to go through this pretty quickly. I'm going to go through the portions that you will need to sign and date and also portions that you need to initial. If they have not seen the documents, then I'll tell them, listen, during this closing, I will give you as much time as you need to look at the pages and look at each page. And if that's what you want to do, if you want to go through each and every page, hey, I'm good with it. Most of the time, they don't. They want to sign and keep it going.
Ah, dinar. So you have yet to get any signings. Dang. When did you sign up with snapdocs?
That's true, Tammy. Absolutely. And I make sure that they have enough time. Like, I don't. I'm not one to make you feel rushed or, you know, I want you to feel like you have enough time. I'm not rushing you most of the time. Like, I'd say 97% of the time, they have already received the documents.
And they are that, you know, they're just ready to sign it. Okay. I was working on my snapdocs profile today and just got a hit. Yay.
Awesome, Monique. So remember, y', all, when you are putting your information on snapdocs and signingagent.com, make sure that you add your zip codes that you're interested in. And I think I get a whole bunch of notifications because I put that gum near every zip code and area name in Houston and surrounding areas. So, for instance, I Say, specifically, Humble, Kingwood, Clear Lake, Galveston.
Spring, Cypress. You know, I go through that. And then not only do I go through that, I provide the zip codes in that area that I'm willing to go in. So I get notifications all the time.
Okay, so, lawanda, can new signing agents sit in on closings with another signing agent to see how it goes?
You can, but you would have to get the permission of the signer before you do that.
You'd have to get the permission of the signer. But, lawanda, you don't necessarily have to do that. There is a way. If I were to mentor you, you would go feeling comfortable, because we give you, step by step, exactly what you're supposed to do, how the table is supposed to be set up and everything. So look through some of my older videos, because I tell you how to set up the table. You can.
But in order to do that, whoever the main notary is will have to get the permission of the.
Of the person who is signing the documents.
Okay. I received, like three notifications, but have not been assigned any on snap Knox. So, Aretha, you gotta be proactive. You cannot just receive them. Open it, click I'm available, and then don't do anything. When you open it, click I'm available as quickly as possible and Google that number and call them and say, hey, my name is Aretha. I just saw that you posted a notification on snapdocs. I would love to take that job for you guys and do that one. Okay, so. And that way they are more than likely able to assign that job to you.
I am looking.
And you've been on there almost like three to four weeks. Yeah. So, hey, I don't care. Don't be picky about what jobs you get on snapdocs. When you first get on there, if you see a job, take the job because you want to rack up and let them know I'm available. And I answer most of the time. And I believe, if I'm not mistaken, there's something on snapdocs that shows your response time and your. Your responsiveness of how often you are available. I got my notary stamp and I have ordered my signing agent package from nna. Yay. Can I do a regular notary while waiting? You absolutely can. You are a notary now, so you absolutely can.
Me and Ms. Rita went to high school together.
Yes, they do. I've been doing 7 to 8 and 9pm signings. What else do. Oh, okay, Alaina, I missed that question. Do companies schedule closings after 6pm yes, they do.
They do? Where are you located? Elena.
And I love it. So the good thing about the group of people that are on this live every week is that, man, we learn so much from each other. So if y'. All anybody is new here. Absol freaking lutely. I mean, even in the YouTube, in. In the Facebook group, we learn so much from each other until it is like.
It'S unreal.
Right? So.
Tammy says, congrats, Rita. Yes, you can start notarizing. Make sure you're ready for will advanced directives, etc. They can trip you up. I tread lightly, but to each his own. So they have a training for just regular notaries on nna, just for regular notarizations. So check that out as well.
Make sure you check that out. Alaina, get in touch with me, because if you want me to mentor you, I do feed my mentees notifications and jobs on a regular basis. So I don't know if we've talked or not, because I talked to so many doggone people.
Hey, Timothy.
Stafford. Boy, there are a lot of guys in that Stafford, Missouri City.
Area who are notarizing. Oh, you're in Missouri city too, Elena. Okay. Plenty of jobs out there. I have not had any complaints from anybody. I have, like, right now in that Missouri city area.
Sugar Land, I have about three or four people who I'm mentoring right now who are in that area. So please do not hesitate to contact me. Get on my calendar. We can talk and set something up. And I can do what I can to get you started. Okay. Ms. Shirley, you're in Florida. Awesome. Florida is one of the states. So.
I saw something up here that I'm going back to. Ms. Trissy.
I'm glad that she's here. She said a company.
She told me about a company. And I want to one notary us. So let's look at one notary. Ms. Trissy, how much does one notary pay? And I've been to one notary as well.
My allergies are whooping my butt. Need something notarized. Get your docs notarized with an online notary in 15 minutes. So for notaries, I want to look at this.
Turn on your webcam and start earning. I thought the fees here were really, really.
Cheap, too.
Okay, so you earn. So.
We handle all transactions costs. No monthly fees, no hitting fees.
And with the basic.
So.
How many notarizations do you have to do before you start earning this? $15. It says after 50 notarizations, then you earn $17. And after 200 notarizations, you earn $18.
And this is talking about Texas. You know, it freaks me out when stuff like knows I be feeling like, you know, the Internet knows where I am and they listening to me all the time because some of these doggone ads that I get, I know I was just conversation. Why did this ad. I was not online looking for this.
I was having a conversation about it. How the heck did this ad just appear out of nowhere? That's scary, y'. All.
Okay, so, yeah, if they charge $15 straight out of the gate, then that is awesome.
Yeah. And, and, and, and to be honest with you, Tammy, I do too. I want to do more general notaries because if I can get paid like the, the $5 is a little. I don't know, it depends on the volume of notarizations that I can get in one setting with that $5. But if I can get $15, you know, that's even better, especially if they have clients that are, that are there, that are booming. So, Timothy, so you're already a notary public loan signing agent, is that correct?
And you say Richmond is booming.
And I'm looking through all of my wonderful people.
I am a Ron in Houston. Where is the best place to get my insurance? Lady? J fold. I get. I've gotten my insurance from. I've gotten everything from the National Notary association, but I'm lazy now. So don't, don't, don't do everything that I do. I got everything there because I don't feel like searching. If they have it all and it was decently priced. I got everything from there and so did every last person in my family. We didn't search for anything. We just got it through the nna. I don't have my notary public loan signing agent yet, but got a certification from coast to coast today, but got a notification. Do they normally send newbies notifications? So, loving life, you are notary public loan signing agent yet, is that correct?
And, you know, I don't even know if they, you know, they probably just look to look in the system. Go to signingagent.com and just broadcast that out to everybody that's in a certain area. I don't even think that they're looking at that right now.
Monica, I have not used Notary Dash.
Y' all hear the microphone on my phone? My phone is off.
Yes, off. Let me know if y' all are hearing any kind of feedback or anything. LaWanda, you hear the.
You hearing feedback or something? Because I don't know, unless y' all tell me. Oh, you talking about when? Oh, you talking about.
Huh? About those advertisements that I see. Turn off your microphone on your phone. Huh.
That'S interesting.
Okay. You will have to bring the first hundred customers. Okay. Two notary, one notary. I have to bring my own first 100 customers in order to be paid the $15.
Tricy. I have to bring 100 customers in order to be paid the $15.
Okay, lawanda, I'm looking, I'm looking. Hold on. You said I'm on in my settings. Turn your microphone off.
To FB in other places. That will stop those ads, baby.
Oh, that's crazy.
Okay.
Yes. One notary pays more 10 to $17 per online notarization. I took Kendra Lewis's RON training. Okay. I'm gonna probably partner.
Yes, lady J4. I feel you. I don't like doing all of that. I want everything in one place. That's why I get everything from the nna.
Okay, gotcha. Good evening, tj. What can a notary do besides notarized documents?
You are very welcome. Roses for me.
And that is a question that I don't know as far as what else can a notary do besides notarize documents. I don't know if you can perform marriages and all of that stuff. I am not sure. I stick to the basics.
So I don't know. I've never looked into it. That's a good question, though. If anybody else in the chat knows, please don't hesitate to answer that question.
Yes, Ms. Libby.
And the partial claims. So Ms. Libby is saying, thankful for coast to coast. The partial claims are really, really simple and easy to do. And they are great documents to get your feet wet. I had a client who got a signing from Inspire. It was 200 plus pages, I believe one of my mentees. And man, that dagum thing was so thick. I was like, oh, my God, for your first one, I would much rather do 3011 to 45 pages than 200. He said it took him two hours, and we prepared him very well. My cousin Mariama went through the documents with him, and I know she did a great job. I was. I'm usually when she's going through the documents with y', all, I'm on the call, so I'm listening to everything. And it took them about.
An hour and 30 minutes maybe for her to explain everything to him. But she goes step by step by step, and she's awesome at it.
Oh, Trissy, you get paid after your hundredth customer. I don't Know.
I don't know about that.
Okay, so you can officiate marriages as a notary, Ms. Tricy.
Okay. NNA has different videos on their page about what notaries can do to earn more money besides doing loan documents and gnw. What is gnw? I saw one about marriages on there. Cool.
Okay.
Yeah, absolutely. I love them. It's just $30, but it's a quick little, you know, quick little money, especially if you're not far from the location. It's really.
Really.
Tammy says NNA has a lot of articles about other job opportunities for notaries. But keep in mind your state dictates what you can do. Absolutely.
Check your state handbook. It'll tell you what your state allows.
Timothy, why are you waiting to take that test?
Yay.
No, go on and take the test, Timothy. I'm telling you. So I had a lady who was waiting to take the test, right? And she said, well, I haven't taken the test in a very long time. Tj Go on and get it over with. Take next weekend. Go through the training. The test is open book. Get that notary signing agent certification study guide. It's an open book test and it is not timed. Everybody, I tell that to. They take that test and pass it the first time. Gone and do it. Don't put it off. It's good money out here waiting on you.
All right. Tammy and Virginia, y' all can't do that. Hey, Felicia. Felicia or Felicia. Everybody pronounces that doggone Felicia thing different.
Okay, Felicia is asking, is this a good business? Absolutely.
Absolutely. It's a good business to do full time. My cousin made anywhere from 7 to $10,000 doing this full time. So, yeah, it is. Normally the dry season or the slower season in notary is between July and October. But this year, we are not having much of a slow season. Because when I say dry, it's like you may be getting one or two notifications a week. Well, I'm still getting like 20 or so notifications a day.
So, yeah, it ain't dry.
Some people are doing bad, other people are doing good.
Because the rates are so low. Now is really the time I'm going to renew my NNA membership. Yeah, please do. Because the NNA works. I mean, what I like about the National Notary association is that they answer your questions. If you're at a closing and have a legal question about a document that you don't understand.
Sometimes all of these documents are so different. So I can't.
Even. For my mentees, there are some Documents that I have never seen before. You have to contact the lender and ask them that question or. And a lot of times they aren't available and they're closed. So you contact the NNA if it's a legal type question that.
Deals with the notarization portion. So. Okay, I highly recommend that. And me and Mariama, you know, if there's a question that we don't know, we'll absolutely tell you. Listen, call the nna. That's a question for them. Because we don't answer legal questions.
Okay, Monica, I've heard that about Maryland. A title producer license test. Monica, have you taken that test? Because I have another guy who contacted me about that. Would you Recommend Paying the 179 or the 65 to just take the exam?
Annika, where are you taking the exam?
And you know, to be honest with you, I would not because I learned. I. Oh, the training was boring on nna and I'm like, add to the max. But I learned a lot. So it was a lot of good stuff that I needed to know that stuck with me and that I remembered because they make you sit there and go through it. So I would say take the training, definitely, instead of just paying and going on and taking it. Because there are some things that you don't need to know. And I mean, even after you take that training, I still have to look back at the book.
To remember some things.
I don't. I didn't know that it was on Amazon. I didn't know that it was on Amazon. I only thought it was on the nna. The study guide that I'm talking about is on the National Notary association website.
I live in Atlanta. What time do you come on every Sunday? I didn't know you was on, Naomi. I come on at.
9Pm Central Time every single Sunday. The only time I haven't been on is when I lock my dadgum keys in the car like a fool. And oh, boy, that was a bad night. Yeah, Felicia. 7,000amonth, really good money. And she has a friend who's actually a nurse that stopped her nursing job to do this full time. And she's, you know, she hadn't slowed down a bit. But like I said, you gotta prepare for that slow season because you don't. You just. Hey, listen, it didn't happen this year because there's a whole bunch of stuff that's happening in the world right now that just never happened before. But I would still, if I was a full time notary, I'd be preparing and Putting something away every time. I got paid to make sure that I'm good for those, you know, late July to October months. Right?
Yes, absolutely.
Okay. I missed something.
Okay, Libby. Yeah. And I get it.
Libby, remind me where you are again. And remind me.
Because I'm feeding so many people right now. So remind me where you are.
Gotcha.
Monica, why did you cry the entire test?
It was not that bad.
Unless you have ADD like me.
And then it's real bad. But I made it. I made it. I was whining, though. Oh, boy. I sounded like Madison, my daughter. I was whining. Whining, whining.
Okay. Yes, ma'. Am. They have the one. I saw you show one video for $50. I don't know. I don't miss that question, sweetheart.
I missed that question.
When you say you get notifications, let's see what Loving Life is saying. When you say you get notifications, they still have to choose you for the sign ins. Correct. They can still give it to. Absolutely. They send that broadcast out to the whole city, probably. So I do get the notifications. I click on the link, I say that I'm available. They can choose anybody else. But that is why I tell you good people to. When you click I'm available, Google that number and call them immediately and say, hey, give me that job. Me. Because I have never not gotten a job after calling them.
Absolutely.
Oh, thank you, Felicia. I tried. Yes. Okay. So, Libby, didn't I just talk to you? Your picture isn't here, so I. I'm not. You're in Mansfield. And. And I don't know if you are part of my mentorship or not, but.
If we haven't talked about this, let's get on the phone so that we can. Oh, okay. So another thing. If you are not getting jobs, go to our Facebook group. There's a post in the Facebook group that discusses different companies that you should sign up with and call on a regular basis. If you are not getting notifications from snapbacks, be aggressive, be assertive, whatever you want to call it. Call these title companies. I gave you a list, and there's actually another list that somebody gave me that I need to post.
I'm going to try to do that this week.
Zara, contact Snapdocs. It's been over two weeks. Usually take that long. What are they verifying? If it's been over two weeks, be sure to email them.
Gnw. Y' all are killing me with these doggone acronyms. Did y' all see my little eyes crossed? Oh, that's killing me. General. General nerdy work. I finally figured out what GNW is, but I. Oh, those acronyms, honey. I hate them.
General notary work.
I gotta remember that Coastal coast emailed me for loan notifications. I didn't email them back for the 30. Should I have taken it? Naomi? Yes, if it's close to you, I get it. Everybody is scared their first time. I was nervous. I'm sure my mama was nervous too. But take the job. Yeah, if you get a notification, take the job. And those $30 ones, those loan modifications are very short documents. They don't take a long time. It's not pulling teeth. It's not like having to go through 200 pages. Trust me, it's much easier.
You do need to be bonded. But listen, Lady J. FY if you don't get your butt off the line on the NNA website because it's too difficult to try to sign up with them online because when you call, they tell you everything that you need. You call, tell them, hey, I'm a current notary or I'm not a current notary, however, I'd like to become a notary public loan signing agent. And they'll say, cool. These are the packages that are available. You're going to need this, this, and this. You want somebody to tell you that because it's easy to miss a lot of the stuff. Talk to them on the phone, call them tomorrow.
It's too hard to do it online and get it's too hard to do it online and get everything that you need. Let me say that.
Elena. Absolutely. I've done that several times, gone to title companies and handed them a card. I've taken donuts. I've done all kinds of stuff. I make sure they know my name. And you can't do it just once and expect for them to send you jobs. And some of them, one question that you have to ask is, do they hire mobile signing agents and how often do they hire signing agents?
That's a critical question. Where do they get their signing agents from?
This week I'm starting cold calling and visiting title companies. Do you recommend giving a resume a cover letter when going into the actual office? That's a good question, Sarah. So.
Do you have cards, Sarah? I would give them a card. I'd make sure my that my card has my commission ID on it. I would ask them, how often do you hire mobile notary public loan signing agents? What platforms do you use?
You know, because.
Meaning what platforms do you use to find notaries and can you hire notaries directly because some of them are with like First American title and they only use, only use notaries from Bank Serve, so they cannot hire outside notaries. So that's why. That's a great question. How often do you hire mobile notaries? Can you hire them directly and do you work with, you know, individual notaries directly? How often.
But give them a card. I don't, I don't necessarily think that you have to give them a resume or cover letter, but just make sure that they know you. You know, make sure that you go by there again and just pop in, you know, maybe once a week or so.
And say, hey, I was just coming to see what y' all have for me. How y' all doing today? Hey, Ms. K. You know, be, be sociable, be friendly, be different. And they will, they will know you.
Okay, how do you handle companies that haven't paid you and ignoring email to pay up? First of all, Tammy, I don't email anybody. I get people on the phone. So find a telephone number. And even with our company, Elite Mobile Notary. So listen, this is what happened to us.
Somehow our account got hacked. Our bank account. Crazy. And we didn't find out immediately that it had gotten hacked. They were taking out like $20 at a time over some months and they would take it out like.
It was a frequency where we just didn't even realize it. But when we did realize it, it was like, oh, crap. That's like. It added up to a lot of money. So we began to be late paying some people, but we made sure everybody was paid.
It was an absolute mess. And I know that everybody was upset. We were upset.
It had been going on for a while, so we don't know who it was. But we didn't even get back reimbursed for some of that money because the bank would only reimburse the current money that was taken out versus for months. So it was a mess. So I would call them. If they haven't paid you, call them, talk to somebody. I don't believe in emails. I don't believe in text messages. I'm a face to face person because I don't have time for. You might not, you know, accidentally missing my email. It's the same with real estate for me. I don't have time to send you a direct mail and you just put it to the side. No, I need to look in your face and look in your eyes and know that we've spoken column.
Sheree said the NNA test is easy. They give you the reference. They give you references to the answer. Yes, they do. They do.
So don't hesitate, Timothy, to go on and take that test.
Yay.
Why? Denard, you're a new notary public loan signing agent. I'm happy for you.
So love and Life is saying that Coast To coast has a YouTube video showing how to do a modification. That's pretty cool. They. They walk you through those documents.
Alaina, if you can. If you can stop that order and see if they can add that. That number to it, your commissioning number. That is awesome. So people don't have to, you know, wonder if it's. You think it's you. They have your name as well as your commissioning number added to your cars because it makes you easier to find.
Okay, so mentorship. I'm still only doing it for Texas. I received some documents this week.
And I'm going to take a look at those because the only reason that I don't do it other places is because I hadn't seen the documents. So I'm going to look at those documents. Me and Mariama have an appointment. Yes. Our schedules are so busy. She's as busy as I am. So we have to schedule. Schedule an appointment with each other. Even though we see each other that come near every day.
So I am going to look at those documents this week. Right now, I'm only taking notary mentors for the state of Texas. If you are in another state, here's what I recommend you do. Go to notary. Go to signingagent.com. search your state. So say you search your city and state.
So I'd search for Houston, Texas. And let's do it together.
Let me show you what I do.
Go to signingagent.com.
And I would search Houston, Texas.
I don't know why this thing has been.
Doing some wonky stuff, but come on, Saint, come on and load.
You can do it.
I believe in you and me.
So while this is loading, as I see people here in the state of. In Houston, Texas, I just, you know, this might be a weird way to look at it, but.
I look down the line and look at these pictures, see how long they've been, you know, doing this. And I may catch a picture of somebody and say, interesting.
She seems cool.
Deidre. Deidre Renee Powell. I'd look at Deidre Renee Powell's.
So I'm looking here at the experience level. She has less than a year, so she seems cool, but she doesn't have that much experience. So I'm still looking for somebody with experience. Note if you have not added a picture, then you are getting passed up nine times out of nine.
And I don't know if that, that could just be my dog on computer that didn't bring those pictures up because normally there are all of these pictures. I don't know why it's looking like that right now. But add a picture and add a nice picture. So back to what I was talking about. So if I was a man.
I might pick him. He's been doing it for a year. I want somebody with more experience.
Mr. Michael has been active for 15 years. I give Mr. Michael call and say, hi, Mr. Adeko, my name is Latonya Johnson. I'm a new notary in Houston. And I'm giving you a call because I wanted to find out if I could pay you to mentor me. I've never looked at the documents before and I saw that you've been doing this for 15 years. So can I pay you to be my mentor? And he's either going to say yes or no. And that's exactly what I would do.
If I wanted a woman. I would look.
Sort by experience.
I won't sort by experience. That gummage. I'll put all the one year people at the beginning. I mean really, who does that? So I'm gonna go to page five and see if it's still on one year.
But that's exactly what I would do.
If I were in your position and looking for.
Looking for a mentor. Does that make sense?
Let me know, Carolyn, if that made sense.
Go there and pick a person. And a lot of people won't mind, I mean, for instance, to go through a set of documents, your first documents, we charge $250 for the whole month. And that is, we go through the documents as many times as you want us to. We are there. If you're at closing table, at the closing table, we will answer whatever question you have. We are with you one on one that whole time.
And I try to be as responsive as I can.
What does it mean to be Fidelity approved? Grace? I have no clue. Where do you see that.
Rita? What I have on my business card, I have my name, number, email address.
My certification.
I mean my commission number. And I also have the NNA seal to show that I'm NNA certified.
Naomi asked.
Naomi asked where can I find the different forms of the documents? And I have looked on.
And they have example documents. So you can look there. And their example documents are for just the notarizations. They have those. Or you can Google example Notarization documents.
And you should be able to see it. I. On. Within the Facebook group. I've uploaded a couple of documents as well, a couple of loan packages that I prepared and taken all the personal information out.
Whoa.
You know what? That's crazy. And. And I've heard that quite a bit. Boy, these spam folders are getting crazy. So good. Okay, okay, Sierra, contact me.
So everybody knows that's one thing. Check your spam folder if you have not heard back from the nna.
And yes, it's called the Loan Source Book. So Tammy is saying that the NNA has a book with all sample loan documents. It's called the Loan Sourcing Book.
And they kind of walk you through it a little bit. Not in a whole lot of detail, but it shows you and gives you an idea of what those documents look like.
Okay.
And so one thing about that book, the Loan Sourcing book, I asked them when I called, do y' all have this in electronic form? Because it would be great to have an electronic copy. For whatever reason, they didn't have an electronic copy. So.
I don't know why. Fidelity.
Requires you to work with a sponsor for two years, then you can strike out on your own. Wow. Okay. I didn't know that.
Karen, do you like the Loan Source Book? Did you find it helpful to have that?
Let me know in the comments. Do y' all have any other questions?
I'm gonna make me something to eat. I'm hungry. I love y', all, and I'm glad to have been able to make it here. I drove 999 miles an hour trying to get home because Ms. Madison, we took a nap and she had homework to do. She has a test on Tuesday. So we were at my cousin's house, and my cousin was going through her algebra work with her. So, baby, we were flying trying to get home so that I could get to y'. All. Yay.
And we made it.
Karen, I have a video where we're doing two different signings. I did one, and then Mariama did another video. So take a look at those videos. Maybe they'll help. But it really breaks it down, especially Mariama's. I prefer for her to do it over me. I don't like doing it, especially on camera. I get nervous and start saying all kind of crazy stuff. Don't ask me why, but I do.
But she does a much better job.
Make sure y' all hit that like button. I'm about to get my little self off of here. Make sure you hit the like button. I Love y'. All. Y' all have a great week. Make sure you call these signing agent companies. Be assertive, be consistent. Ask them for their business and get these jobs because the money is here. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need me.
Coast to coast will sponsor you to work with Fidelity.
Timothy. You see that?
Thank y' all so much. I need the love. Trust me, I need it. Lord Jesus, I need it.
So, yeah. Thank y'. All. I appreciate it. Y' all have a great evening. Hey, be consistent. Thank you, Timothy. I appreciate it. I enjoy y' all so much. Love y' all so much. I hope that you can feel my heart when I do this and feel my sincerity and my, my, my.
My, my. My willingness to give everything that I have to y'. All. I don't hold anything back. So I hope that y' all can see that and feel that. And I hope that it is a blessing to y', all because y' all are definitely a blessing to me. So thank you, and I return all the love. Y' all have a good night. Great week. God bless you. Bye.
