And there are other things that you can negotiate. I mentioned that printing get good enough and you can negotiate where they send the documents to the client or send the documents and you pick them up or mail the documents to you versus you having to print all that stuff out. See that printing thing is the thing that I didn't like. Because it seemed like as soon as I'm good and doggone ready to go and I'm rushing, I'm leaving my job, I'm coming home. Print these documents real quick, go see my client. Why would that dadgum printer do the fool seem like when I don't have no time to fool with. That drove me insane. So that's why I decided to start processing apostille documents. Now what is an apostille document? Needs to go through the process of being apostille through the Secretary of State when it is going to another country. Very simple process and it pays. You know, people start learning everything, they drop the prices. That's how this goes. I tell you, you get in the business, you tell somebody else, you do it for cheaper than me. Now the whole dadgum market didn't change. That's how it goes. So it used to be My minimum was 225. $225. That's for somebody that does not need a rush. Now people are doing rush jobs for 225. I don't know how, they're not paying themselves very well. They have not calculated the cost. Okay, but some people are doing that. Anywho, what it entails is you get like say a birth certificate that's going to Mexico. You meet your client somewhere that's perfect for you and them, or you just go and pick the document up. In the state of Texas, there's no notarization required on state official documents. However, look up the laws in your state. The process is the same, but there are different nuances in various states. So look it up. The basics of the process is you take it to the Secretary of state, send it to the secretary of state, they send it back to you and bam, you give it to your client. That's it. Now what time they open, what time they close? Do they accept walk ins? You know, does it need to be notarized? Does it not need to be notarized, does it need to be translated? All that stuff, baby, that's state specific, so you gotta look that up. The basis of it is pretty good. And it ain't no whole bunch of work. You not really printing nothing out, you ain't doing nothing for that little old money, let's just be honest, it is very easy to do. That's why I love them. Okay, so that's Apostilles. Very, very good. Very, very lucrative. Then you have another thing that I just started doing is processed serving. So the way that I got into this, one of my clients on the Success Circle Mastermind, which is a mastermind that we have where we meet every Monday through Wednesday, 6:30pm Central Standard Time. And everybody just asks me questions and we just go through stuff together and we learn a whole bunch of stuff. It's notary stuff, it's how to get to the next level. It's all kinds of stuff. Because this is a side note, I believe that the notary business is a jumping off place. I believe that with my whole heart. I don't believe in leaving my job and creating another job for myself. Ultimately, I think that you should use the money that you make as a notary to fund your dream life to, to create a business that you love to do. Right? So stabilize your income through the notary business and then start creating a business that you love that is not work to you and that is lucrative. So anywho.
Process serving. I was talking to one of my clients on the phone and she mentioned that she had been process serving for the same attorney for years. That exact same day I met an attorney I was doing. I went to his office to process an apostate and asked them did they need a process server. Bam. They charge 100. I mean they pay $125 per process serving. They pay me $100 per mobile notarization. I'm good with it. And that's in a specific area. Now if I gotta drive, that price just goes up. My base with them though is established, baby, at a hundred bucks. I love it. So why wouldn't I just go out and go to a whole bunch of attorneys in the exact same area and do the same thing. You go to one of these seven story businesses where you see attorney at law go over there, stop, give them a flyer, let them know what you're doing. Have different flyers for different types of businesses that you want to focus on. If you focus on i9, which is another thing that you can do, processing i9 documents, every employer has to have their, their new employees fill out 99 and those documents have to be notarized. Create a flyer for that. Create a flyer saying that you do, you do process serving. Okay. And process serving, just to let you know, is, I mean you probably know an attorney Wants to serve somebody with some documents. You basically get the documents from the attorney, go to the people's door and have give them the document. That's what it is. Okay, so.
There are some other nuances, of course, but this is just a short video to let you know a few things that you can do. So we talked about general notary work, loan signings, apostilles, process servants, more right there. But I have a friend, you can go to her channel. Her name is Ebony Locke. She's a wedding officiant. And I just think that's the coolest thing ever. One, because she officiates the wedding. You know, she's met so many amazing people. She has some cool, cool, cool videos. And I think she charges maybe 2, 225. But go look at the video, she'll tell you. 225, which ain't bad for a wedding. Weddings don't last no more than an hour. For what? What the officiant gonna do. So wedding officiate. But she also has another passion business that it's complimentary to the wedding businesses, which is the first 360 photo booth. So now over here you made 225. Over here you made another 225. You know what I'm saying? Another 250. Whatever she charged, I don't know. But you've made more money just by supplementing services that you provide.
Make your money as much as you can in every little bitty place, every client. See how you can serve them. See how you can serve them and then do that. And when you're good at anything, people are going to call you back. That's a given. They're gonna call you back. You will be their preference. Okay, so wedding officiant, you have field inspections where you just go out and take a picture something. It's so much to do in this industry. I could go on and on and on and on and on in the comments below. Let me know if you know of something else within this industry that we need to let people know is available. Okay. Let me know in the comments if you do something or you know somebody else who does something who's a notary and they it because they're an owner. I still want to encourage you. Listen, get into this, do this now. No better time than today. Okay? This is TJ with Solutions by tj. Please subscribe like this channel and ask any questions that you have in the comments below.
