Loan signings and general notarizations. Oh, Ms. Thomasina made $650 this week just doing notary work. That's one week.

Okay, Ms. Tony said General notary work isn't open in New York till April. And Sassy V. I'm in the process of studying for the exam with the nna. Do the signers get to view the documents prior to the signing being scheduled? Yes, they do. And I always. When I'm confirming an appointment, I ask them, have you seen the documents? Because when they've received a copy of the documents before you get there, that means that you don't have to go page by page. And by law, I believe they're supposed to get a copy of the documents prior to closing. So always ask that question because that means any questions that they've had after looking at the documents, they should have contact the title company or their realtor or their mortgage company. Right. And you ask that question so that you can call them and say, perfect. So you've seen the documents? Have you. Have you reviewed a copy of the documents? They say yes. Awesome. So that means that we can just go through and sign every pertinent place that you need to sign and we'll make this as swift and easy as possible. How does that sound to you? They'll say perfect. And then you go on. I'm wondering if the loan officer or the title company does some kind of overview with them prior to signing. I don't know if they do an overview, but they do have the documents and they've seen the documents and should. Should have asked those professionals any questions that they have. Because again, your job is not to get in there and start explaining documents. That's not what you do. You get in there. Your job is not even to understand every word on the document and know what these people are supposed to do. You don't say when you're giving an overview of a page, you pick out a couple of words on that page and give them an overview. This document is about such and such and such. This is the T47. You know what I'm saying? And Mariama goes through all of that stuff in grave detail.

So yeah.

Huh? So here's what Anita had to say about notarized. She's in Dallas. The best hours for her on notarized, the best hours are from 5 to 10pm Getting work on notarize is hard. I need to call Sean.

So a little birdie told me, a little birdie named Sean and some other people told me that the best times are like late, late, late because nobody else wants to work that time. So when you work that time, you get all the business with notarized and most people who are doing it part time. It is hard because everybody is trying to go for that right after work time. But from what I've been told, the best times are early in the morning and late, late, late at night. So everybody is on there at the same time hoping for the same thing, saying that it's hard. So you have to kind of change your times.

So Sassy V. You should not be nervous about the questions because the only questions that you have to answer are those questions that are pertaining to the notarization portion of the document where they signed, right, where they put the date. If they ask you a question about where is my interest rate shown, where is my monthly payment shown? Then you show them the pages to where that is and that's it. Thank you, lawanda. Where are you purchasing it from? Are you on the National Notary Association's website? And are you just going to be a notary? Are you going to be a remote online notary, or are you interested in being a notary public loan signing agent?

Let me know if you want me to go over those. So general notary work.

For general notarizations. One page, the state of Texas says that you can charge $6 and you can charge for whatever mileage if you go to them. You can also charge a service fee. If you want to make more money, then you need to become a remote notary and, and a notary public loan signing agent. I would do both because, you know, you always want to give yourself more options. Now, which one would I do first? I personally. Now in 2020. What is this, 2021? I've almost said 2022. Yeah, I'm on next year. So in 2021, if I were to do this again, I would go for the remote online notary.

Jobs because the startup cost is lower. When you become a notary public loan signing agent, you're going to pay anywhere from 700 to $1,000. Just getting set up with the Ron opportunity. You could pay, I'd say 200 and you fully set up. That includes headphones, that includes a good camera for your.

For your laptop, and any payments that you need to procure.

The stamp, the seal, the certificate and all of that stuff.

But again, Anita. So 6 to 8, that's gonna be everybody. I'm talking about like 4am to 6. I'm, I'm out of the bracket where everybody. Okay, everybody wake up at six. They gonna be trying to get six to eight. Not too many people gonna be up at four.

And not too many people are going to be dealing with it after 10.

So it's the off hours that I'm talking about.

How much do Ron's make in Texas?

I mean, you know, it depends on what you're doing. Number one, are you doing general notary work? Who are you working for? Are you working for one of these platforms like Notarized and One notary? All of that, There are factors to it, so I can't give you that answer.

Is it an advantage to get Ron approved? Absolutely. For me, this is what I believe.

You know how you have a job, right? And people go to get their mba, they go to get job certifications. Anytime you are able to do more, you can get paid more. So in this business, you want to have the ability to service any and every client who has any and all notary public loan signing agent or notary needs and requirements. So when you offer remote online notarizations, that's just one more level that you can offer to your clients. And I've told y' all this before, during the months of it starts slowing down in June, July, slow August is, you know what we gonna do. You still need to be able to maintain an income, right? So that's where the Ron can come in for you. You can supplement your income using that Ron going and start building it up now, you know, figuring it out right now in order to do that. So you can do the Ryan stuff, you can becoming a past. Start processing apostille documents and building that business up so that you all have something to do during that period of August to October when it's kind of the dead zone for loan signing agents. I mean, 10,000 to 2 to $20,000 a month as a notary public loan signing agent is totally doable. You have so many options of what you can do. And if you offer an array of services and go after the business and treat this like a business and get direct contacts, you gonna win. But if you treat this like a business where you're looking for stuff to always come to you, for signings to come to you, you're not going to make. You can make good money, but you make the best money when you get direct work. Because my cousin. Listen, she is not the one to go after direct business. So all of the work that she has is from Snapdocs, and they pay her the prices. I mean, she gets a premium of 200. I mean, you know, 175 to 200 per job because her accuracy is on point. She's told y', all, if your accuracy isn't on point, you cannot command the highest prices.

Killing it, just doing that. He was making about 2500, 25 to 28 hundred dollars a month part time, two to four hours a day. Then when he got so many notarizations done through the platform, they raised him up to be. To be able to do mortgage documents where he gets paid, I think 20 to $25 per doc per closing. And so he's killing it, man. He's killing it.

I don't mean to put all his business in the street, but he's had a few family members that pass away and just some deaths that would just make your just blow your wig back. Like what? Oh my God. So that is such a great question. Shawana, she said is okay. She just applied to become for her notary commission with the intent to do loan signings. But I mentioned that the Ron has a lower startup cost. Is the income comparable. And so I would love for Sean to be here because he and one of his good friends, they both he was doing the Ron opportunity part time and she was doing loan signings. And from what he said, and I'm. I'm telling you based on our conversation, from what he said, he was a little bit below her. But my maybe a hundred to two hundred dollars and that's it. While sitting in his home and had instead of coming out of 700 to a thousand dollars, he came out of about 300 max. So. And he just did it when he felt like it. When he first started, he'd do it two to four hours. He'd missed some days. You know, all of that. So.

Trying to become a remote online notary where you do it just online from your computer, or are you looking to become a notary public loan signing agent, where you're going out and helping people sign mortgage documents? So it's more. It's more to it than that.

So if you're becoming. If you're in the process of becoming a notary public loan signing agent, then this training is definitely for you. If you are already a notary public loan signing agent, but you just, you know, you go through the documents, but you don't feel all the way comfortable, and you feel like you listening to somebody go through these documents one more time would be beneficial.
