Hey, this is TJ with Solutions by TJ and Ms. Thomasina. Let's go. How you doing today? I'm glad y' all are here. PA Representing, ready to level up. I love it. I love it. I love it. I'm glad that you're here. I was thinking about you this week. Can y'. All. Can you see a huge glare in my glasses? I'm trying to reduce that glare. If I don't see that have my glasses on, I can't read the comments, so I gotta have my glasses on. Hey, Ms. Santina Santilla. Lord have mercy. I'm messing up. I need to spit this gum out, y'. All. How is everybody? Shayna Boykin. Oh, Shayna Boykin. You in Pennsylvania, too? Okay. Demetria, how you doing?
Good, good, good. So Pennsylvania in the house. Penns always representing. I gotta come to PA Now. Good job. All right, so this has been a good week. I want to know how yalls week has been in the notary world.
I want to get back to making videos, so give me some video ideas. I'm gonna look up some ideas myself. Week before last, like I told y', all, I made a huge accomplishment for myself and put out a commercial that I'm looking forward to seeing myself because a boy I. It took forever for me to do. Can y' all hear me clearly?
Let me know if it's light. Heavy. Do I need to adjust my microphone? But so you know, everything is going well. Blue is laying over here to my. My right. She didn't tired herself out. Lord have mercy. I got a baby dog, y'. All.
My daughter may not ever want children after this because I am making her take care of this baby dog. And the baby dog wakes up at night, in the middle of the night, having to go to the restroom and whining. Oh, I know. She like, oh, my God. What in the world? Hello, from Houston, Notary Sage. Hey, Pamela.
Lashawn is in the house.
I have another whole baby, so she's 13 pounds now. She just made 10 weeks. She's getting bigger by the day. I'm excited about taking her to training. We start training on Sundays, but they want her to get a little bigger. They'd like for them to be for a month. Hey, Mississippi. Mississippi Mobile Notary.
Pamela, how you doing? Yes. They want them to be a little bit bigger before they. Before you start training. But.
She'S something else. She is something else. So what are y' all seeing in the notary world?
Thomasina, you said stay popping in in pa.
Right? How Is it in Mississippi and. And other places. Hey, Tommy.
Let me know how your course is going. Tommy.
Shayna, how is it going for you in Pennsylvania?
Oh, and my dog Santiago, is. Has another venture. Cynthia, you ready to. You ready to go live with your. With your venture?
Let me know.
That's good. Lashawn, have you been on Clubhouse lately? I have not been on there, man. I've been.
Nose to the pedal lately.
Just getting everything, you know, squared away. I'm hiring for. I'm hiring what's called a runner for the Airbnb properties. And what a runner does is they're like the head of operations, right? So after the cleaners clean the unit, the runner goes in, she inspects, to make sure that there is the killer in Air B. Airbnb is hair, right? Because just think, if you're in an Airbnb and you see hair on the bed or on the floor, it's like, ew. So the killer is hair. Don't judge me. I gotta spit this gum out. Okay. The killer is hair. So what the runner does is she goes in after. After the cleaners leave, make sure that everything is, you know, in order. Straight, picturesque, how I like it. She also looks at the inventory and makes sure that each unit has the proper inventory and tells me what we need to order. I send whatever order needs to be, you know, whatever we need to order, I send it to her house, and then she restocks. So.
That'S pretty cool. Okay.
Oh, okay. So you host a room with a few others every Tuesday. What time on Tuesday.
Tommy? You know, I really used to, like. I mean, I don't have a problem with it. There is a lot that you can learn on Clubhouse. Like, a lot of free information with people with a whole bunch of knowledge, whole bunch of credibility, whole bunch of, you know, it's a lot. My mentor is on there quite often, and I did. I got a lot of information. But then you can get in the information overload. So I think that's why I kind of had to back off of it a little bit.
So Tuesday, 7pm Central Standard Time. LaShawn is on Clubhouse.
Yeah. She say, yeah. So.
You know, I probably need to just get back to it. What I wanted to do on Clubhouse is kind of what I do here is go there. And really, the good part about clubhouse versus, you know, what we're doing here is that I get to hear your voice talking back to me. So you don't have to type. It's an actual conversation, and I need that from y'. All. Sometimes so that I can know exactly what I need to give you. You understand what I'm saying? So that's the benefit to me for Clubhouse.
That's why I liked it. And I kind of want to go back on there just to talk to the people who are struggling, because there are some people, man, you know.
You gotta pay attention and you gotta listen, and you have to do it. Like, you have to execute. You can make your own way and bump your head, but when you have a mentor who is telling you what to do, do it, and you won't bump your head. It's quite simple.
Oh, okay. You have a Split Signing with Simply simple file. I've never heard of them. Oh, that's a new platform.
I feel some in my teeth, y'. All.
Oh, I wanted to give y' all this, too. Miranda so graciously gave this to me.
Earlier today. So I was talking to Nico and getting on her butt. Because in this business, you have to sign up with multiple companies, and when you get to the point where you're just working with two, maybe even three, they can cut your money down and you don't have any control over it. So I wanted to find. Because one thing that I hate about this business is that a lot of companies pay 30 days. And we even pay 30 days. You know why? Because we were paid after 30 days. Like our title companies. And the companies that hire us pay us after 30 days of some title companies. But I wanted to.
Give y' all a list that Miranda gave me. So thank Miranda when she comes. Companies that pay.
Weekly or sooner. I don't know if that makes sense. That sounds real ghetto, but here we go.
So.
Zoom is one.
It's also called she said, aka title365.
Okay.
I knew about Bank Serve and Service Link.
She told me about a serenity s e r e n I t y. Serenity signings.
Serenity signing company. Have y' all heard of that?
S e r e n s e r e o. Okay, I spelled it wrong.
S. I.
Just typing horribly. I'm trying to get it to y'. All. I think I get. And then Comfortable Closings.
And if y' all have any. Hey, hook us up now. If y' all have any title companies that pay sooner than 30 days, let us know. And she said, comfortable Closings. She was paid as soon as she dropped docs, so that's big, y'. All. So she gave me Zoom Bank Serve, Service Link, Serenity Signing Company and Comfortable Closing.
Comfortable Closings with an S. And I just put them There.
They should go out.
Hey, Tania.
So does anybody have any other companies that pay sooner than 30 days? I hadn't heard a simple file. Simply. Simply file before. That's interesting.
Oh, did anybody attend the notary. I mean, the mystery shopping conference this weekend?
Mortgage connects pays earlier than 30 days. Thomas, Tommy.
And Inspire.
Because I only want companies that pay sooner than 30 days.
Because people need their money before the end of the month, you know, which I can. I can understand that.
It takes. Oh, they pay in two weeks. Okay, that's cool.
This is big. So some people that are not here are gonna miss this good information.
We always had a good.
I'm gonna put it together for everybody. Any more, Tommy.
And see, all of these are in my list. But if you just get with, you know a few companies.
And see, I don't. So. Boy, that's why people. You know what? I'm. I'm Nico. When y' all hear about. She got a whooping as a grown woman. I didn't Gave him a million companies.
And I don't even really be paying attention.
Because I just see money coming in, you know.
Now when I. When I don't get my money, I notice that. But when it comes in, I don't be paying attention. I live in what's called Spring Branch.
So, yeah, call me. You have my number. When are you coming to Houston?
That'll be fun. We can do lunch or dinner or whatever. When you can.
That'll be fun. Hey, Amber.
How are you? You snuck in here. I didn't see you.
Yeah, so with Miss. Oh, you coming in September. Girl, you're gonna have to remind me of that because I ain't no way I'm gonna remember September. Look for Lashan. But please do remind me. They had a big mystery shopping thing here. Man, I got busy and didn't even go.
Hey, Devin. Having trouble finding a law office to do signings. Requiring an office. Any suggestions? Do you have any friends that are attorneys? That's my number one suggestion. And if they don't have an office, then you ask them.
You ask them, do they, you know, know anybody? And do you have a title company that you work with?
What just happened?
Hold up, y'.
All.
Hold on.
I'm sorry. Let me figure this out. I don't know what happened. Everything looks like it's connected. Your browser lost connection with your camera. Let's see what's going on.
Don't know what happened.
So Lashawn said market to attorneys who have their own private practice. That's good.
What do you mean not local?
Hey, Latasha, I'm glad to see you back today. Look up above, we were talking about companies that pay in less than two, less than 30 days for notary public loan signing agents. So a lot of them paid 30 days, but then there are some that pay sooner.
So lashawn was saying, market to the attorneys.
And I love that idea. I mean, I had friends who I went to college with who became attorney. They hooked me up with others. But I would even say, you know, if you work with a title company, say Zoom Title is. If it's not a signing service and it's a title company, I definitely ask them, where are you located, Devin? Because somebody on here may be located in the same place and give you. Let you. Give you the hookup on somebody who. Who will let you do it. And you really just have to, you know, call around like I called everywhere. And of course, they charge you.
To use their space. Anywhere from 75. No, anywhere from $50 to 150, depending. Oh, I'm glad. Thank you so much, Lashawn.
Hey, Felicia. Located in Frisco. So anybody on here in Frisco who has an attorney that they work with, where they do cash outs, give us the hookup? Devin is looking for somebody. Yeah, Devin. I mean, that's really what I did. Like, I had.
Number one, I go to note, I go to networking events, so I meet attorneys. Number two, I would contact attorneys in the area. Like, look in. You can even Google attorneys near me. Or go on your phone in on the Google Maps and type in attorneys near me and call them and. And talk to them.
Yeah, Kayla's in the house.
Okay, question.
Let me see.
Ms. Amber says question to you in the chat. Has anyone ever recorded you in a signing? And if so, how did you handle that? That's interesting. So the client recorded you?
Amber, did the client record you?
And Devin, also, I know you said you've been calling, but do you have any. Any.
Connections with any title companies? Because you can do it. Oh, you can do that.
You can do it at a title company as well. Covet kind of put a lot of that stuff out.
Amber, did they say why they were recording you?
I guess I can kind of see it in a way. But why didn't they just do like a remote, you know. Oh, remote closing, where the whole thing is recorded anyway.
You'Re going through a legal process, and maybe they didn't feel comfortable with doing it mobile and just wanted, you know.
Just wanted to make sure that everything was done Right. But see, I mean, and that's where, you know, you got to kind of be on your P's and Q's and not give legal information. You just stick to the script, stick to what you see on the page, and don't give any more information than that. If they have questions, you contact the signing company that hired you. The title company, the realtor, the mortgage.
Mortgage broker.
How would I handle that? If they wanted to record it, I don't think I'd have a problem with it. But that's just me. How would y' all feel about that?
Devin Santia said, join all the networking groups in your city or state.
And I'd ask on some of the Facebook groups, too. Devin.
I know that question. Let's go there.
I know that question has been asked before.
Somewhere. I'm just gonna look. I'm gonna be nosy.
You know, I like to take field trips. Hold on. So I'm gonna go to Facebook group. Oh, come on. I'm gonna go in as me. I don't even know my password, y'. All. This might not work.
Okay, notary.
Just going to type in that, and then I'm going to go to groups, and then I'm going to go to.
Remote notary. Remote online notary. That's pretty cool. So a lot of people in there. Is that a good group? Y' all.
Find notary, public loan, signing agents, directory.
I think I like this group, but hold on. I'm trying to find one that I really like.
Dang, it look like I've been okay. All the mana.
Oh, this one is cool. Okay, so.
But Texas Attorney.
I'm just looking in the group to see if we can see.
See, other people are asking a title or Texas company.
And I'm just trying to see that they answer the question. And they're saying the same thing. Contact your signing service.
Yeah, they ain't answering a question. They're not giving an attorney's name.
I'm gonna go to another group.
And I'm gonna search again. So.
Dallas attorney. Come on, say, I know you said Frisco. Let me try Dallas.
Okay. This person was asking the same question in the group.
And do a Google search of title companies.
Our neighboring cities, law offices.
They're saying the same thing. They're not giving up. And see, I actually found somebody on.
On Clubhouse who does it here.
Okay. Everybody's saying the same thing, Honey bunny. I was trying to see if somebody says something different, but. Yeah.
I know, right? Yeah. So lashawn talking about. I wouldn't Mind being recorded? As long as I look good. But see, we are. Oh, it was a Spanish speaking client with her daughter translating. The recording happened at the end of the signing. When I inquire about the reason for recording, the client said she was just looking at herself. Interesting.
That's weird.
And why would it be after the signing?
At the end of the signing?
Yeah. I don't understand that. That's. That's weird.
That's. That's strange.
She was looking at herself.
That's crazy, Amber.
I mean, but hey, as long as everything was squared away. I've told y' all before, y' all know how you are to present yourself. Your pres. You are to present yourself looking like you are going to work, not like you going to the park. So no jeans. You have to have on professional attire. So, you know.
April, April Mac said you can't record me unless I agree to it. And that's anywhere and everywhere. Like, you know, you have to mention to someone that you are going to be recording them and they have to agree to it. So. Yeah.
I agree.
Who looks fabulous?
You talking about me?
That is even strange for after the fact. Absolutely. Felicia. That's. That's weird. I would have been like, yeah, I agree. If they asked me though, I wouldn't mind.
Samantha. Amber was saying that the daughter was translating.
So I don't know. That's.
Oh, thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that.
Thank you. What's your name? All I see is S. Merced 09 18. So let me know your name. Thank you for telling me that. I appreciate it. Look, I'm retarded. I'm talking about who just as crazy.
Like my grandfather used to say. Batshit crazy. Now how you know, I don't know what that got to do. Hey, Sonia. Convenience.
They can't record my likeness. I gotcha, Tommy.
Juanita said I always assume I'm being recorded.
And Samantha said the daughter can't do the translating. And you know, I totally agree with that. Like, if she does not speak English, then the signing company needs to be contacted and a professional translator needs to do that. So I would have contacted my title company or my signing agency. So. You have a very good, good point there, Samantha. For real.
That has never happened to me though.
Never happened to me. I think one time when it was an adult son. But he was actually a part of the closing as well. So it was him and his parents, and he was a part of the closing. Signing documents.
That's a good man, Samantha. You caught that. That was really good. And What? What did you do about it, Tommy?
You said that you wouldn't let them. What did you say? Up top? They can't record your likeness.
They can't record my likeness. I get it.
So, Samantha, she said the borrower was English and the wife was a non borrower. Okay, so the borrower spoke English, and the wife, who was a non borrower, spoke Spanish.
Tommy, I don't understand. What in the heck? See, this is why clubhouse be popping. Because I don't know what you trying to say. I collect a print and drive. What does that mean?
Okay, so Samantha, the person that was that you were actually working with to sign the documents spoke English, but the wife did not speak English, and the daughter was translating for the wife. I got it.
Yeah. So they know. I mean, that's just strange.
Right?
Right.
And I. I'm partially bilingual. I make you talk slowly, though. My grandmother was Mexican, but.
Now I have not used it in so long. Boy, if they you don't use it, you lose it. Even my aunties say that. Jesus, we can understand, but you better slow down all of that talking fast. Nah, you're gonna miss me. I ain't catch none of it.
Wow, Samantha. So, Tommy, what it. What? What are you saying? That it happened to you? And I collect a print and drive. What? I. Hello? I know you like. Ah, tj. I know I'm being slow. I'm sorry.
Should have had a non biased translator. And normally when that happens, the signing company provides that. But like she said, Samantha, the individual who was signing the documents spoke English. So the non signing wife who was sitting at the table, also the daughter was translating for the wife. So the husband understood it.
But he didn't have time to be translating to her, I guess. But I still don't understand the reason for the recording. That's still weird. Super weird. Thank y' all for my likes and hearts. I appreciate it. Y', all, please like this video. Give me a thumbs up. Give me a heart. Give me some love. It helps us go out. For those who came in late, if you look up at the top, then there are companies that pay in 30 in less than 30 days. That was pivotal.
Thomasina. Hey, Ken Thomasino's talking about. No espanol is all I understand. And un moment, uno momento. No, Thomasina. It's un momento. Lord Jesus. None. None. Thomasina. That's. That's the answer. No, I've lied. Spell y'. All.
Okay, Tommy said. Let me put it on the screen. Tommy said, I had an incident where a married Couple spouse didn't speak English, and I wouldn't allow the husband to translate. I contacted the signing service and a print and drive fee was provided.
Oh, gotcha. So, okay, I understand. So what Tommy is saying is that he had the exact same incident.
Where he would not. I get it. Because you know what? That is an opportunity for fraud when somebody is translating because you don't know what they're saying. So he halted, he stopped the signing, and the signing company gave him a fee. This little baby is on my curtains back here, and it's bothering me because she got a whole bed. Why she trying to be close. So she. So he stopped the signing and they gave him a fee for printing and driving. Driving over there. Yeah, that's. That's so true.
That's a good one.
But Tommy.
Your couple, both of them were signing, right?
I think her situation is a little different because the individual that was signing the docs spoke English. The borrower. The borrower spoke English. The wife was not signing the docs.
Yeah.
Yeah, the white. The wife was not signing the doc. She wasn't on the documents.
Amber. That was good, though.
That was good.
Very good. Thank you for that scenario. So did I get that right? Amber, for you. So the. The husband spoke English. He was the one signing the documents. The wife was there, but she was not signing documents. Correct.
And the daughter was translating for the wife, who was not signing docs.
Yeah. And see, I asked that when I'm on the phone with them, like when I call and confirm the client. And I guess that's why that I'm saying that has never happened to me because when I called to confirm the appointment, I want to speak to the borrower. If the borrower says one moment. And puts their child on the phone and the child says, hey, yeah, my mom doesn't speak English, I ask immediately, well.
Okay, who will be translating for her? And if she says, well, I'm going to translate, I'll tell them. I'll say, no worries, I'll get a professional translator. So there will be one other person coming. And for the confirmation, I will tell the child. You know what I'm saying? So I'll tell the child the date that I'm coming, the time that I'm coming, my coronavirus protocols, if they need to have a check or anything, you know, that I see on the documents, then I'll let them know that. To have that ready. Two forms of id. Two copies of forms of id and what else? And then after I get off the phone with them, I'LL call the signing service of title company and let them know that I'll need a translator. And that translator can either be there in person on Zoom or they want to do it.
Got it. All right, y', all. We did that. That was. That was good. That was a really good scenario. Yeah, Tommy, that's that you did the right thing. If she's there and doesn't understand, I don't even really feel comfortable sometimes. My cousin had this scenario. My younger cousin, not Mariama, she had a scenario where she was at a closing, and she called me and she said there was a son with his mother, and he seemed to be frustrated with his mother, like they were going back and forth. I don't feel comfortable with that. I'll stop it. I'll ask her, is she okay if she looks flustered or fragile. I said, nope, pull it. Pull the cord. Stop it. Call the title company and let the client know. I don't feel comfortable. A part of my job is to prevent fraud and to make sure that people are signing.
On their own will and with full understanding of what's going on. And I can't of good conscience say that that's what's going on here. Thank you. God bless you. Good night.
And I may not even give them a reason because I don't want hostility. So the title company will just have to call them back.
I don't just get up and, like, leave and just be abrupt, but I might give them some bogus reason and say, hey, you know.
Tommy said he doesn't like doing the translating because those take longer than usual. They do, they do. You're right.
And there are plenty of.
On the back end of, like, snapdocs in different places. We can actually choose if we want a Spanish speaking notary public, loan signing agents. So that seems like that would be the best option. But when people are working for you, they don't be thinking about the same things that you think about as the owner.
Great question.
Anybody else have anything?
I'm glad Mr. Ken is in the building. I understand more Spanish than I speak, and I'm learning. Okay, Latasha. Oh, you're learning Mandarin. Awesome. I understand a lot more than I speak, too. Now I should say that I understand a lot more than I speak.
And even in the car, like, me and my daughter listen to Mexican music, Spanish music all the time, like rap and everything.
So I understand a lot more than I speak.
And on my job, one of the cleaning ladies, boy, I love her. In Baytown, she was forcing me to speak Spanish, which I like that.
She knows. She spoke English, but she would not speak English to me because she wanted me to practice.
So, Latasha, how's the notary world going for you?
Anybody seeing a slowdown? I know last week, Ms. Thomasina said she didn't see a slowdown.
Miss Juanita.
You seeing a slowdown where you are?
And just for yalls information here that, I mean, you know, right now, June is still popping, especially if you have, you know, the signing companies that you sign up with, and it has not slowed down at all.
Yeah, okay. She said I'm late, but God. So let me tell you a good evening. How you doing? A little bit that you missed. We were talking about scroll up in the comments because we were talking about companies that pay sooner than 30 days, so I think that's important.
Santia, North Carolina. Notarizations are still busy times. That's good. It hadn't slowed down in Houston. I don't see that at all. What has slowed down, though, y', all, is these mystery shopping companies cannot find enough people to do the jobs, so they are slowing down. Like, different companies are closing down because they can't find enough people to do the job. So.
In our Facebook group, there was a listing of.
They had a conference this last weekend. I didn't get a chance to go to it.
Awesome. Juanita. Yeah, that's a good thing, because there's a slowdown that usually comes between June and October. And when you have enough companies, you. You survive all of that.
When you have enough companies and you do something else. Like, you, you have to prepare. You have to prepare beforehand, right? You got to be prepared. So, Tommy, last week, we were talking about the fingerprinting. I was talking about apostille work.
Somebody else was talking about permit running. You got to be prepared.
And I'm tripping on Ms. Blue back here. Let me. I wish I could show y' all this dog behind me on my dadgum curtains.
She gonna make her bed, boy. I swear.
As long as she not trying to nip at my feet, I need to just shut up. And she could be chewing these cords.
Ah, Thomasina said get ready. Summer general notary folks driving like they crazy, getting into auto accidents will need letters notarized for the insurance companies and attorneys I had. I don't know.
I'm not sure of what is going on, but people are driving a whole lot worse. Like they planning cars or something. I, I, I was trying not to say. I think maybe it's because I'm older, but. Nah, I ain't never seen people drive this bad, and it's a lot of traffic in Houston.
Does anyone know anything regarding NNA immigration form specialists? It's reported notaries can provide this service. Yeah, they had something. Let's go. Let's go on a trip on our favorite rocket ship. We're gonna go to the nna.
I had something on this on the national notary. Oh, lord. Did I spell it wrong?
National.
You know, t, a, r, y or cheap.
Okay.
So.
Immigration.
S, b, c, I, a, l, I, s, t. I spell that wrong, too? Lord jesus. Y' all, like.
Imagine.
I was right. First time.
State rules on immigration. Consulting immigration form specialist faq. Let's go here. First, the following questions and answers about immigration form specialists are not meant to be exhaustive. You should consult your state laws.
According to the uscis, anyone may provide limited non legal help with filling out the immigration forms and charge for those services. Hold on. I want to see if they have any training.
What is how to become state rules. Grow your career as an immigration. Yeah, I'm trying to see if they have any. This looks like it.
Aha. There's a course.
This may be for Texas, but it'll get you there. I'm about to put it in the. I'm putting the link in the.
Immigration. I'm putting it in. I'm typing y' all in the chat.
Okay. Tommy said his state doesn't. I knew it. I knew they did have a training. I just didn't know where it was.
So, Tommy, you said your state doesn't have any laws. It's hard to proceed. Not trying to get into practicing law. And I. I really do believe it's just filling out the documents is what they offer. That's what it looked like to me, at least.
So let's go back.
Did it come up?
What does it develop with practice? Immigration attorneys. Our online immigration forms class will teach you how to fill out the most commonly used immigration forms. Assemble a submission package. Yeah, so it just tells you how to create the forms. Learn at your own pace anywhere. Those are the forms. This is pretty cool, though.
Yeah, they just help you with the forms. So as long as you filling out the forms, you should be good.
So Ms. Rosalynn says I have a question about billing. I'm currently using Sky Nova. I like them for the monthly fee, $25. The contact list is short, and the next option they offer isn't what I want to pay. What's your question.
About billing.
Rosalind?
I know, Tommy. I get it.
Hey, Sarita.
How are you? I haven't seen you in a long time.
I'm glad you're here. Thank you, Saritha. So, Saritha, they had some type of mystery shopping conference in Houston this last weekend. I don't know if you got a chance to go, but it was in the mystery shop in Facebook. If you're not on the Facebook, let me know, text me and I'll put you on there.
Good. I'm glad you're good. Good to see you. Thank you for hopping on and letting me know.
Rosalind, let us know what you were talking about. About the billing. What do you need to know? Is there another.
Billing platform.
Or what did you want to know about billing?
