Okay, so I opened an LLC and an EIN for a notary business. So Ron is still a part of the notary business. Do I need to purchase the insurances eno and bond under the company name? So you should have.

E and O insurance and bond for your Ron business as well.

I guess I'm confused because your remote online notary business should already have E and O insurance and a bond. It shouldn't be two different businesses. You're doing the same thing. So in my personal opinion, I have Solutions by tj. That's my online business. Right. That's my educational component. That's all that stuff. Then I have my notary business. That's a whole different business because that's where I actually go out do remote online notarizations. I do.

Mobile notary stuff. That's another business. So this business has an ein number. Solutions by tj. My notary business has an ein number. And then my short term rental business is a whole nother business, whole nother LLC and it has its own llc, ein number and all of that. So y' all are keep Y' all keep saying reapply for an ein number, and I don't want to tell you wrong, because I am not an attorney. I do not practice law. But I have three separate businesses, and each of my three separate businesses have their own ein number.

I'm sure you already know this, but even as a realtor, of course, you cannot be the notary signing agent on your own transactions. You can do it for your. Your. Your team, but you can't do it on yours.

So if you are a real estate agent.

As a notary, you cannot notarize your own documents. So as a real estate agent, you cannot notarize your own client's transaction. It has to be an arm's length transaction. So it would have to be another notary that's there. So if you are benefiting in any way, meaning getting paid, then you can't be the notary on that transaction. Somebody else has to do it.

But if she has colleagues who are having closings, then they can use her as the remote online notary or as the mobile notary.
