They extended their stay. The cleaners weren't supposed to be coming until tomorrow. My bad was that I forgot to warn the cleaner. Okay.

So anyway, long story short, we got the purse, bag, and all is well. But it was crazy. It's been a crazy day. Crazy, crazy, crazy. So I didn't know, you know, what was going on, where anything was. But, boy, it'd be little stuff like that, man, that you, as a business owner, you have to know how to pivot and how to stay calm and deal with people. I think the hardest thing in any business is dealing with people. When you have a business that you don't. Where you don't have to deal with people, then everything becomes easy. But when you got to deal with people, man, it's a certain skill that you have to acquire. So, yeah, it's been crazy. But, hey, God is still good. Still good. All. Hey, Felicia. How are you?

So True Blue asked did I have a step by step order in which I signed up for my business. And you know, nowadays some people do. I started doing this when nobody else was doing it. Me and my family way back, they started in 2013. I started in 2016. 2016.

So my cousin started in 2013. So what we did, I mean the steps that we went through, did we have the bank account and all of that? No, we didn't. Would I recommend that you do that, man? I would. To your attorney and your accountant. If you're setting it up as a business, absolutely, why not? But if it's going to cause you to delay the getting going, then go on. I'd say do it as an individual sole proprietor and when you have the money to get to that point to purchase the LLC to get the bank account. The EIN number is free, right? So that doesn't take much. So you can go on and do that. What we did was we used our personal names as well as our addresses and our Social Security numbers. That's what we did. Oh, thank you. So sign up with the companies on that list. But it's never good enough just to sign up. You have to be proactive. Call and worry the heck out of these people until you get a job. That's what we did. We did not sit back. We called. We. If one person was rude to us, we. We waited until they got off shift and called at another time. We were. You know how on Jurassic park that doggone dinosaur, the dinosaur started kind of hitting that trap, testing for the weaknesses, bruh. We would. Hey, listen, we call early in the morning, after lunch, in the evening, because at different times the shift changes. But Baby Dog. Oh, Baby Dog is something else. But. Okay. I had to sign up with 300 plus companies before my request started coming in non stop. Stay positive and keep signing up and pushing. Now, Wendy, Windy City transplant. Did you have to not only sign up but call contact those companies? Because when I was trying, it was never enough just to call. I mean, never enough just to sign up. You actually had to be proactive, man.

You know, and take some jobs. You know, everybody is hearing about, I wouldn't take less than a hundred dollars. Well, you know what? When you starting out, like I always say, some people don't make $30 an hour on their job. So take a $30 job. It'll get your feet wet, it'll break the nerves and it's. It's a whole lot easier.

You know, it's just a few pages. It's anywhere from 11 to 17 pages. So you don't have a 200 page packet just starting out. But yeah, I mean, it is. It's well worth it, y'. All. It's well worth.

There is a lot of money to be made doing it. And if you have not looked into the apostille stuff, I still say that is a hidden gem. Like people are afraid of it. It seems like. But man, it's. And you know what?

People are afraid of the apostille stuff. Right? A lot of people who know how to do it are afraid. Are glad that people are afraid because it keeps more money for them. And a lot of people also charge hundreds of thousands, well, thousands of dollars, 1500 and up to teach you how to do it.

Because don't nobody want you to know how to do it because you don't have to print out 200 pages. You can get paid 200 for one page. I mean, it's ridiculous. So.

Tj. Okay, let me see. Who is this queen bee? A few months ago, you interviewed a man who was going to only do remote notary. Ssa. He was just getting started. How's business going? Do you recommend.

Lsa/Remote notary? So that was probably my homeboy Sean. And he's not on here right now. Hey, Goddess Butterfly. He's not on here right now, but he usually is. And so Sean is making remotely and Sean ain't gonna work too hard and I think that's what he ain't gonna do. So he ain't breaking his back. You know, he's real easygoing guy and he's making on average about $2,000 a week doing remote notarizations. And he has it down pat. He and I are actually gonna do a class on that.

I have not, I have not decided to do it this year because I got a bunch of stuff going on. But coming into 2022, I really plan on launching that to let y' all know exactly how to do it because Sean has tips, tricks, and all kinds of stuff. So, yeah, he's making about $2,000 a week. So 2, 4, 6, 8. Yeah. And that's on average. So sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less.

I love it. So Windy City transplant.

Yes. I definitely had to call and follow up and now most of my clients are direct. Now I'm an 8 to 10k month notary. It is possible. Absolutely freaking lutely. And Windy City. Are you like for that 8 to 10,000? Are you just wrecking your brain and all over town and you know, is it a hard 8 to 10 or is it a like easy breezy, you do your signings, do what you do and go and do whatever you want to do. How is lifelike for you in doing that?

So you all have the mystery shopping and what mystery shopping is. For those who are saying, what in the heck is mystery shopping? You know, people, different companies pay you to shop, act like a shopper, and then tell them about your experience.

So say, for instance, you are going into a Verizon store and Apple wants to. Wants to pay you to go in and find out whether or not they're telling you about the new iPhone or the new iPad. And so they'll ask you questions. Like, afterwards, you'll have to fill out a survey and say, did they ask you? Did they introduce or mention to you the new product that we have, the new iPhone that we have? What features did they tell you about? Who. What was the name of the person you know? Did they show you how it works? Stuff like that? And you get paid, and it's as easy as, I mean, McDonald's paying $80 for people to do it. Various. You know, Jack in the box had.

And I love Jack in the Box. They had jobs for 18 bucks. And I mean, you might say, oh, 18 ain't a lot, but I don't eat 18 worth of jack in the Box, to be honest with you. With me and Madison together, so that meant a free meal. I'm good with it.

So that's how we used it.

Claudia. You know, I mean, listen, in this, to be honest with you, in. In doing the loan signing agent stuff, it's a bunch of ways that you can make money as a notary. Number one, good money. Okay?

The loan signing agent way is not the only way. It's the way that most people have heard about. So it's an entry level way. Other ways to make money. I, you know, what I see is people start the loan signing agent way and they don't stick to it. So there's a matriculation of people doing it. You know, you see a lot of people who've gotten into the Business since probably the. Since, you know, all of the pandemic and stuff. But people are still working and a lot of people are still making eight to $10,000 a month. So can that be you too? Absolutely freaking lutely right now. You starting just getting in. It's new people starting all the time. So.

And if they don't know what that is, explain it to them and say, look, I'd love to help you. Allow your clients to sign in the comfort of their own home. It's a luxury service. And when you're. When they're sign buying houses as beautiful as yours. Absolutely. They'd want that option.

I mean, just a whole, like, stadium full of people just happy and excited that they are making that 8 to $10,000, $20,000 as a loan signing agent, you know, because we've gotten a word out that there's some real money out here. And will it get saturated? I personally don't think so. Because there are so many things that you can do with. With a notary certificate, like when you have that designation, when you have that commission, man, it's crazy.

You know? Baby dogs, let me tell you. Okay, so have y' all ever had a 2 year old? You know how around 8, 9 o', clock, a 2 year old go crazy and gotta get doggone there whooping to go to sleep?
