Want to Become a Notary? Here's Why NOW is the Best Time to Do It

This is a short, informal YouTube talk (Dec 12, 2022) by TJ (Solutions by TJ) encouraging viewers to become notaries now. TJ argues demand will rebound (real-estate cycle), points out reduced supply as people leave the field, and recommends practical steps: obtain a notary commission (avoid high-cost NNA for commissioning; American Association of Notaries suggested as lower-cost option), pursue NNA certification for loan signing agent training (their top package and exam recommended), then take hands-on document walkthrough training (TJ offers a paid training library) and register with signing services. The video closes with channel promotion and calls-to-action (comments, subscribe).

Hey honey bunny. This is TJ with Solutions by tj. And you know this video. I want to talk to you about how to become a notary and why you should do it right now. So hey, let's get into it.
First. I'm going to talk to you about why you should do it right now. I know that you see a lot of channels, a lot of notaries, everybody is bailing. If you talk to some of your friends who've been doing this for a long time, they may be saying, oh, it's no worries, blah blah bl. It's slowing down a lot. You can't make as much money. That opportunity is over. It's just cycle, sweetheart. It's not over.
Your notary commission will allow you to make money year round from wherever you are. And okay, use an extra hundred dollars just to pick up every now and then even. Right? Just every now and then Even with a 9 to 5, you would use $100 just to pick up $50 here, $100 here, $75 here. Picking up your coins in every way possible. Why I believe that there's still an opportunity right now to do it is simply because people are leaving. So that means the number of people within our industry is down. So that's a supply. Not as many notaries. Notaries still understanding their value. We gonna get paid. The people who stay. Right now is a good opportunity because it's, you know, it's the holidays. It's the end of 2022. You got time, you're off. I'm gonna tell you where to go to get your notary commission. I'm gonna tell you where to go to become a notary public loan signing agent. You have the time to do it now during the holidays. Now is the time to plan. Make your action, plan for how you plan to make money in 2023. Wait till January to do that. You do it right now.
So that's what we're going to talk about. There's still money. Like I said in my other video, the real estate industry is cyclical. This is a cycle. As long as you have it, you ride the wave. It's coming back. My prediction, like I said in another video, is that people are going to start buying more houses. Starting January, it's gonna pick up. Housing prices are gonna drop. February, it's gonna pick up some more. By March, baby, if these interest rates still looking like they looking, oh, it's gonna be time to eat. So you'll already be ready and in a position, you'll be signed up with the signing companies that you need. You'll have your NNA stuff out of the way. You got it. All right, so here's my honest opinion on where you should go to become a notary. First off, you've got to be a notary before you can be a notary public loan signing agent. I used to recommend that everybody go through the National Notary Association. I don't do that anymore. Just to get the commission. Maybe their prices are too high. Their Lowest price is $186. Highest price is like 239. Just to become a notary. That's not even the notary public loan signing agent. Just to become a notary. That don't make sense. So don't do that. Go through the American association of Notaries. I think their price is like 95 bucks just to get commissioned as a notary in your state. American association of Notaries. Check it out for yourself. Leave a comment below if you know somewhere else that people can go to get commissioned where the price is not $186. That's got darn ridiculous. When we used to do it 8 bucks.
Okay, so now you had a hundred. Anyway, I ain't gonna go on that soapbox. I'm just saying. So don't go through the NNA to get your notary commission. Go get you somewhere else. Plus they're shipping. They're taking a really, really long time to get back with you, baby. Go somewhere else. However, I still highly recommend the National Notary Association. And I'm a part of the National Notary Association. I am a member, so I love them. Don't get it twisted. I call them all the time and ask questions at least once a week. So I love. I'm just trying to work with you until you gotta get the best value for what you need to do. This is just my honest, fair opinion. So what I think that you should do is for the notary public loan signing agent training, the NNA is the only place to go get the highest package that they have. I cannot stand the website because it's too difficult. So I always call. So call the number and allow somebody to walk you through the process of signing up. Now, again, you do this after you've gotten your notary commission. That's how they want you to do it. Call them after you've gotten your notary commission. The highest package that they have is really, really good. It comes with a book, comes with every single thing that you need. Take the exam that they have. Go through all of their training and become a certified notary signing agent. Do you have to do that to work with signing companies? You do not. But most signing companies prefer that you have that certification from the National Notary Association. And you can never claim the highest price that you can claim if you don't have all your accolades together, baby, you know how this education thing go. So go on and get it. That's the National Notary Association. Once you go through all of that, my highest recommendation is that you get training on how to go through the dots. Now, the training that the National Notary association gives you is about the laws and about ethics and conduct of being a notary public loan signing agent doesn't tell you how to do the job.
A lot of people thought that you have to go out and seek additional training on how to do the job. I have a training available. The link is below for all of my trainings. It's a whole library and it's great. Me and my cousin go through the documents in great detail. So you are going to know what the heck you're doing day one, guaranteed. You gotta know what you're doing.
Then. Also, you need to sign up with various signing services. I have a channel on YouTube. It's called Solutions by TJ. I think I'm going to change that to Real Estate RE Solutions by tj. Right. I'm going to change it to RE Solutions by TJ for Real Estate Solutions by tj. And that will be. You can go in there, join my channel and in there you'll see a list of signing services, the one that I have, the ones that I highly recommend. And I'll do another video to let you know my top 10 choices on signing services, how they're working and what they do. So they're still, you know, it's a cycle, they've gone down and giving signings right now. But like I said, now is the time to get in because you, you should have time. You're about to take vacation. Do it while you can and be ready for 2023. All right, this is TJ with Solutions by TJ. Like this video? Leave a comment below if you have any questions. I'm checking the doggone comments.
