Hey friend, this is TJ with Solutions by TJ and I am at Office Depot right now. I want to look at printers, portable scanners and a couple of other supplies. Just to let you know the recommendations that I have for supplies for new agents, new notary public loan signing agents for 2022. Let's go.
Hey. Okay, family. So I am in Office Depot. So the first thing that I want to look at are the laser printers. And I'm just looking. I'm not paying 649, I'm not paying 449. I'll pay in the 300 range depending upon this print speed. I want 25 pages per minute or more. Preferably more. But remember, you have to have a laser printer in this business. This is a three in one printer.
It prints dual sided. It doesn't look like it.
Dual tray is cool, meaning that it can print from two different trays. And this one sort of.
You can print from this tray and probably that tray.
But this printer for $2.99 is just as good as 25 and 25. So 25 color 25 black and white.
This is the printer. I think that yeah, I probably wouldn't pay 4.99.
Still looking. Okay. If I'm not mistaken, my mother and sister have either.

I think I'm trying to see if this is a laser printer. This is black and white. Mono. It doesn't say laser.
So you actually got to keep going. It's all in one mono.
These other ones say inkjet. But I'll have to look up and see whether or not these are laser.
These are fax machines. Brother. Mono.
The printer that you want is actually going to say laser on this label. All of these are inkjet on that side.
As you can see. Inkjet. Inkjet. This Emerson is an inkjet. We can't do the inkjet printers.
It has to be laser. Epson isn't a bad printer either. Neither is Samsung. But remember it has to be a laser printer. So none of these on this side fall into that. Let's go on the.
On the other side. And all of these are HP printers. I have an HP printer if you can look. This is a big old printer and I spent about this much on my printer. But I don't necessarily like this printer. Number one, I didn't get an inkjet. It has to be laser. So that's not the printer that I got. This one is inkjet. But when you get to these laser printers for Hewlett Packard, look at that price tag that's like, ridiculous. I'm not paying five something for a printer, so negatory.
This is a better price. I'll show you this whole printer, but it's still steep. That's 400 for a printer. Now this one, this is probably the printer that I'd buy from Hewlett Packard. So that mono over on Brother may mean.
Laser. It just didn't have the word laser. And I'm out and about and can't look it up right now because I'm doing a video for y'. All. But I would go back and look those up.
But I. This is probably the one that I buy. They don't have this one sitting out here for 249.
But I would love to see what it looks like. This printer has a scanner, and it has the print functionality. Dual tray. You don't necessarily have to have dual tray print, but it looks like this one is dual tray.
One of the printers that I had was not dual tray. And trust me, I did just fine. This one is a laser printer for 329. All this one does, it looks like it's print. It doesn't even have a scanner. But the good thing about it, man, look how many pages this doggone thing prints. So you have to think about this. This print speed. The brothers were 25. You pay more for this printer, but it's printing 40 pages per minute. 30 pages per minute. 30 pages per min. You're going to be printing as a signing agent anywhere from 200 to 400 pages. And the worst thing that can happen is that printer is printing slow. Just don't just take my word on that. You trying to move fast and the printer getting jammed and printing slow. Oh, my God, just kill me. Now, the other thing that I wanted to show y' all are these scanners.
So these scanners are in the price range of I'd buy a mobile scanner for. I do 200, 219 for a scanner.
But again, look at the pages per minute. That's 15 pages per minute. This one is 10 pages per minute. Now, this Epson is 35 pages per minute. And I'm gonna show y' all all of these scanners right here.
Okay? Do you need 35 pages per minute? Of course we'd like that. But you want something quick and a rapid scanner. And I mean, you know, 15 pages will do the trick. It'll get you where you need to be. I'll show you another scanner.
That my cousin has when I put these videos totally together. Now, this is a Canon Laser printer.
Again. That speed still doesn't beat that Hewlett Packard printer.
Another canon, 28 pages per minute. That speed does not beat the doggone cannon, y'. All. I mean, does not beat the. The.
Hp. So that's why I just went on and purchased.
That's why I just went on and purchased the doggone printer that I had, which was an hp. Like I said, my family got brother printers. They loved them. They did just fine with them. But I'm still looking. I see inkjet, and I personally don't know the difference between the Laser Jet Pro.
Because this one is 119. I don't like this. 19 pages. That's not cool. It says laser. But what's the difference between laser and laser jet? I don't know, but I'll find out for you. Now, this one for 189. They don't have it in stock or up here, but.
It's. It prints 30 pages per minute. That's not. That's better than the brother, too.

All right. Hey, so this is T.J. and I'm at Best Buy. And these are the two printers that I recommend. Recommend right now. This Canon laser printer is a good one.
And this brother printer.
That'S a good one as well.
And really, if you just need something quick, man, I mean, this is the one.
$189 that my mother has. Compact laser printer, super quick, super easy. Have this other brother laser printer. That's $159.
So, family, we've seen printers at both Office Depot and Best Buy. We saw the brother printers. Best Buy didn't have any Hewlett pack of printers. But hopefully this gives you an idea of what you need to look for in a printer in the beginning of the video or in the middle, wherever it was. I didn't know. I don't know why I didn't see that dog on mono and laser print at the top, like somebody crazy. But, hey, it was there. So the mono printers are brother printers. Just look at the whole tag. It's one of the best investments and the mate one of the one of the major investments that you'll make. So make sure sure that that printer man print as fast as possible because the the Achilles heel of this business is printing paper jams. And when you in a rush and you trying to print all of these pages and it's going slow, baby, that'll make you just put a pencil through your eye.
