A short excerpt from a YouTube interview with Sonya Shelton addressing why leaders struggle. Shelton argues leaders often lack clarity about their "superpower" and the confidence/self-awareness to stand in those gifts, which makes it harder for them to make an impact.
What is the real.
Reason you're finding in who they are that's causing them to have.
This struggle? I think it's a recognition of what their superpower is. Right. And really standing in their confidence of that this is what I bring to the table, and this is how I know I can make an impact. And having that confidence in that, if you don't have that clarity about who you are and what you really bring, then it's harder to make that impact. Right. So it is really that self awareness and confidence about what it is that those gifts are that you bring to the table and stand in that. Right. And people will love it. I'm sure it's something that they need. They're just not aware that you can bring it.
