Christina Hall walks through a four-stage brand funnel: Discovery, Trust, Opportunity, and Action. Your brand is messaging and values, not just visuals. Social media and your website are where people find you and decide to buy.

Hi guys. Welcome to the creating a brand funnel training. This is in the magnetic brand membership and it's also a free training. So we are going to go through something I call a brand funnel. I'm sure all of you have heard of a sales funnel or a marketing funnel. This is similar, but through what I feel is the most important lens, which is brand, just because I have seen how much stronger brand can make funnels. So creating a brand funnel, we're going to dive right into it. This is going to be a quick, nitty, gritty, easy to act upon training. So what is the brand funnel? It is a funnel moving people from discovering your brand through the phases they need to get to in order to act on working with your brand or being a follow of your brand, depending on what your goals are. So the way Super Lunar uses this is we have discovery, trust, opportunity and action. The discovery for most of us is going to be through social media, so that's what I focus on, but it can be applied to other spaces. At the end of the day, you want to say the same things and show the same things to your potential customer. The next phase is trust. That is going to be building trust through consistency, through all of your visual touch points and your messaging touch points. So your brand is not just the way things look, your brand is also the message you put out there and how you help people. As service providers, which is the largest part of my community, this is what we're doing. We are creating.
An atmosphere of what you do to help people, who you specifically help and how you help them in your unique way. Brand is not just visuals, it's all of that. It's a very ambiguous character universe which is where, where you thrive when you build this universe properly, which is what I like to help with. The next phase is opportunity. This is creating opportunities for people to take action, which is what we ultimately want. The action for most of us is working with us, inquiring to work with us, purchasing, converting, etc. So creating opportunities that are on brand for people to move through and take action with. And then the final is taking action, converting lead to customer. So you can see how people move through this funnel. It's very similar to a sales funnel, but I'm looking at it through the scope of brand and sharing how I do that with you, which has worked for me and my clients as well. This is a brand funnel. We're going to go through each phase and what you need in order to do each phase properly. The discovery phase is going to largely happen for most of us on social media, that's how you found me. It's probably how people will find you. So this is something in the magnetic brand membership that utilizes the GLOW method, which is what I teach, which is how I go about creating a brand atmosphere, if you will. And there's lots of messaging techniques and tactics in there. In discovery, the way you're going to utilize brand is by having strong messages that speak directly to your target audience and in a way that represents your brand and the brand you want to be. Again, brand is not visuals. Brand is who you are as a business. It's your character, it's what you care about. It's your morals, your values, and how you uniquely help people. Your messaging should fully embody everything that both you and your ideal audience cares about. If you don't know all of those things, brand strategy is going to help you build that foundation. You need a strategic foundation to create the right visuals to represent you and attract the right people with the right messaging and the right services. Even branding can help you decide what services are best based on the ultimate goal you have for your business and the ultimate desire and transformation you want to provide to your target audience. So brand speaks to all of that. And in your brand funnel, the discovery portion is going to bring in the most eyes, and then you want to filtrate people into being the most perfect customers who are the people who are like, hell fucking yes, I'm going to pay you whatever it takes to work with you, because you speak so directly to me. You represent everything I want to represent, and you're giving me the transformation I'm looking for. And we learn all of that through brand and utilize our brand in order to get that message across, to attract the right people. So everything that we care about as a brand, our customers should care about and vice versa. So that is how we attract and repel. It's so important to not neglect that you want to repel people, because that is what makes the messaging so crystal clear to the people who will not be pushed away so crystal clear to the people who are perfect for you. You do want to push people away. As scary and backwards as it can feel, you want to push people away just as much, if not more than you attract people. We want to create a mutual connection and begin planting seeds of trust. When a customer feels seen by you, they are way more likely to listen to you. And that is where in our brand strategy and in the discovery phase, we want to find out exactly who we're speaking to and exactly what they need to hear so that they feel seen by you and no one else. When you make someone feel seen, feel like you understand everything they're going through and where they want to be, and you have the key to get them from there to there, they are going to listen to you every time you pop up on their feed. So that's why it's so important to have the proper messaging and have a proper image of who you're talking to for the discovery phase, so that they can discover you and decide to follow you or listen to you. We get most of that through developing a brand strategy. And this is how you build trust, which is the next section of the brand funnel. So in the trust phase, this can also be looked at as like a warming phase, but you simply want to be consistent with how you got them. It's like when we're dating. People reel us in by their actions, their words, and the way they make us feel. And they keep us there by being consistent with the way they got us here. So imagine you're dating someone and they were calling you every night just to talk, and they're asking how your day was, and they open the door for you and they schedule regular date nights every weekend. If they don't continue doing that after they get you right, they've brought you into their world, and now that they have you and they have a connection with you, if they stop doing those things that got you there, you lose trust in them. That's how relationships erode. That's how we decide people aren't for us. That's how we get ghosted. So relationships are exactly like building brand relationships with your customers. You don't just get customers and they immediately convert. You guys have probably followed people for years that you decided to work with later. It's because they built trust with you. And you may have not seen it, but now I'm opening your eyes to how that works. So you use the GLOW method again to look at what generates specific actions, specific results from people. So if you post using the discovery method and it brought a lot of people in, then you post again. And let's say this next post got a lot of people going, oh, my gosh, mind blown. Yes, exactly. It's probably building trust because they feel seen again, right? They feel seen and they feel like you are showing them actively that you know how to solve their problems as service providers, which is again, the core audience that we're speaking to right now. I'm speaking to right now. You solve a problem, you make people's lives easier. You get people from point A to point B. You are slowly proving to them through this consistent messaging that you know how to do this for them. And they are going to slowly learn through your consistency that you are the only person for them to solve their problem. No matter what you cost, no matter how long it takes to save up to get you, they want you. It's just a matter of getting them to realize, oh, yes, they may be interested in you and follow you and be like, I'm curious to hear more from this person. But then your consistent messaging, your consistent posting, your consistent showing up on brand, very important. Is going to warm them up to believing that's the only person who could solve this problem for me. So you do that with consistent messaging. But then it's very important to have consistent visuals as well. When purple, blue and neon yellow pop up on your feed, what's me about to talk? My face is the logo of Christina.
So that's the same that your logo is going to be for your brand and the colors and the typography. There are people where when I see a certain typography pop up on my feed in a carousel, I'm like, oh, that's so. I love everything they say. I've just identified visually who's trying to talk to me and basically decided if I want to answer the phone or not. So it's like seeing your friend's photo pop up on your phone when they're calling. If you screen your calls or you decide you're not a talker, but it's that friend, oh, I'll answer the phone. That's what your consistent visuals on social media are doing. People are looking at it and paying attention and recognizing you and saying, oh, it's them. I want to hear them speak. I'm in a scroll. I'm going to listen. So that's how important consistent visuals are. And at the same time, it builds trust because our brains value repetition. When we see the same visuals over and over again, it builds trust. Our brains like expecting what's going to happen and that thing happening. And visuals and messaging are the same way. That's why it's so important to have a strong visual brand. It's not just a logo. It's consistent colors, consistent design styles, consistent layouts, consistent typography, because that's all things we are seeing over and over again. And our brain likes that. It connects that as something that's trustworthy. And when people are more likely to be listening to us, they're going to Be more likely to be listening when an opportunity presents itself to work with you. Opportunities are multiple different things, but I'm speaking about this in more of a social media way. You need to have multiple touch points and opportunities for people to be able to know where to go when the opportunity to work with you arises or has evolved in their mind. You need links to social media pages, you need your offers laid out, you need calls to action.
In your content. And again, using the GLOW method, you can understand what content causes people to act, whether you're telling them to or not.
So by having places for them to go, you're creating opportunity for them to inquire to work with you, to download a freebie, to purchase a booklet, a training, a masterclass.
If you don't have somewhere for them to go, they're lacking an opportunity to work with you. And therefore what are they going to do? They're not going to act. So an opportunity looks like a website.
Opportunity looks like go to my website to do xyz, call to action telling them where to go, go to the link in my profile to visit my website to download this, to download that. You need an opportunity for people to act upon working with you. A lot of people rely on DMs.
Not everyone's a DM. Er, some people are willing to DM, but you don't want to reduce its personality types. So if people have to DM you to work with you, you're only going to be attracting one personality type you're creating. Only 25% of your target audience is going to reach out to you. Now, just because of their personality styles. And a lot of people, they may be willing to reach out to you, but want more information first. Website. Website will give people opportunity to fill out a lead magnet, to contact form, to schedule a call with you to get more information before they DM you.
So this is the main way that I in my brand funnel use opportunities by having a website that gives people the opportunity to learn more about me in a structured way and reach out to me, download freebies so they can get on my email list, inquire to work with me. Those are all opportunities to act. And then that leads us to the last one, which is action. This phase is what drives people to download a league magnet or inquired work with you on your website. You want to be able to warm people. They're very warm, they're on your website, they're interested, they're past the discovery phase and they're in more of the trust building phase. This is Their opportunity. They're there. They're building the steps that they need in their brain. Connecting the connectors to get to the point where they're gonna take action. You need to warn them and drive them to take action. So your website needs to be structured to sell. It needs to be selling and then again it needs to be on brand. That's your final opportunity to show them that you are consistent, you are consistently visual and consistently messaging. So the way I want you to look at it is someone sees you. Let's say I'm talking about how to paint a house blue.
If your goal in life is to paint your house blue and I catch you with a piece of content, which is what stores to shop at. If you're shopping for blue paint for your house, you decide to follow me because that was really helpful. What blue paints to select, Then maybe I have a warming piece of content. What blue paints to select in order to emit specific vibes. What blue paints to choose for specific vibes. My favorite blue paint brands, techniques for specifically blue paint techniques for. So this is all content. I'm warming people up now. They are. I am the blue paint content girl. I've been so consistent with my messaging. Everything I talk about painting your house blue, they finally go check out my website and it needs to talk about finally getting me to come paint your house blue for you. You could do it yourself. That's so much work. How do I know? And I think you've given me steps where I feel like I know what I'm doing, but I just don't trust myself. I'm just not that creative. Just not a blue person. But you are. And I want my house blue. You're gonna help me get there. The sales page, your website and the sales page needs to drive people to finally push them over that hump. I think she's right for me. She's told me all this stuff. I know she knows what she's talking about. I feel very confident about painting my house blue. I'm so confident that this is what's going to make me happy. It's having a blue house. Sales page needs to get them over that hump of that's it. I'm hiring someone to paint my house blue. And this is the person I want painting my house blue. A very rudimentary concept. But the website needs to get them past that final hump to finally reach out. Of course, after that, it's up to you to sell to people or finalize, work with them, get their deposit, etc. But you've got your brand funnel doing all of that preliminary work for you and then at the end of the day for me, it's just, are they a good fit and can I sell them on it? So that's a brand funnel and that is how you use brand to move people through discovery to wanting to work with you. How do people see me and how do I get them to want to work with me? Using brand to do that only Excels accelerates.
The rate at which you bring people from discovery to action. And so unintentionally that leads me to now what if everything you've seen here in this training, you're like, fuck, I gotta get my brand together. If it's this important, I don't know how to build a website or I don't have time for all of this. This is gonna take six months with everything she's telling me she needs or I've DIY'd everything and I just know it doesn't look right. I know I don't look as professional as I could because I'm not consistent enough or I'm not a designer. I don't know how to do all that.
