How I Overcame Fear & Anxiety

In this personal‑vlog, the host of Sappy Life Wellness opens the kickoff for a "14 Days of Total Transformation" program. She begins by expressing gratitude and describing the day’s ambience before explaining why she prefers the term "transformation" over "detox," noting that detoxification is only one facet of a broader process that includes mental, chemical, cellular, mindfulness, environmental, and mindset shifts. She shares her anxiety about speaking publicly and outlines how grounding, meditation, and a brief Kundalini exercise help her channel energy from a larger universal source rather than from herself. The speaker then reads an excerpt from the book Habits of a Happy Brain, focusing on oxytocin as the "bonding hormone" and reflecting on her own high‑energy, touch‑friendly nature. She discusses how oxytocin is released through touch, trust, and social connection, linking personal anecdotes about cuddling nieces, children, and friends to scientific explanations. Acknowledging that her touchy‑feely style can be misinterpreted, she commits to balancing authenticity with respect for boundaries. Throughout, she emphasizes delivering information in bite‑size pieces to avoid overload, and she invites viewers to join the upcoming private sessions of the transformation program, promising step‑by‑step support for holistic health restoration.

Peace and blessings. Peace, peace, peace. Today is such a beautiful day. It's gorgeous outside. The wind chimes, the birds singing, the wind blowing, nice cool breeze out here. I'm really grateful for the opportunity to serve. I'm grateful, just grateful today. And I'm hosting my kickoff for the 14 Days of Total Transformation group, a detox if you will. I, I use the term detox lightly because there's, you know, a general stigma around the word. And, you know, I'm more of a fan of the word transformation, or the term transformation. Is even detoxification is only a, a small, uh, well, I won't say small as insignificant, but it's a very, uh, it's only a fragment or a percentage of transformation and restoration and winning your health back one step at a time. So, um, I like the term transformation because it entails detoxification, it entails, uh, mental and chemical balance, it entails cellular, um, cellular energy It entails mindfulness. It entails environmental detoxification or environmental stability and resonance and balance. It entails a mindset shift that's required to embark on any type of positive change or lifestyle adjustment. Um, so I call it transformation. However, detoxification is definitely a part of that, and I'm just really out here, um, expressing gratitude and grounding myself because before I go before people and introduce anything that, um, sharing anything that's coming from myself I get really anxious, and, um, I just get a little anxious because I want to offer as much helpfulness and tools and inspiration and imbued spirit to everyone. I get a little anxious about whether or not I have enough of that to give. I've received confirmation, you know, like signs and signals that, that, that, that is the case. However, you know, I am humbled that others may see it that way, but any of you who have a purpose in life that you're working towards, I'm sure that you understand exactly where I'm coming from. So For me, I have to really ground myself and channel, open my channels up so that I'm not necessarily like coming from myself. I know it emanates from, you know, the essence, and that I'm not the originator of that essential aspect of life and creation. It's all one big macrocosm, and I'm only one little speck of dust as it relates to the greater universal order of things. So with that being said, in order for me not to be anxious and in order for me to feel like, okay, it's okay, you have enough information, don't do the information overload thing, because that is what I do and that is a, um, something I'm working on just being confident knowing that, okay, you just a little dab will do you. You can't give everyone all the information and knowledge that you know and really be effective because they won't be able to digest it. So the goal is to, to do, you know, break it off in piecemeal. So anyway, I have to ground myself so that I'm okay with that and I can be confident that, okay, just a little bit, if you have what you need to to give and just open myself up. Because I can prepare myself so much, and at the end of the day, it flows like water when I just let go. And typically, I can't cover not even 10% of the information that— or knowledge or wisdom or blessings, however you want to see it— that I have prepared. So anyway, I just came out here, meditated, set intention, a little Kundalini exercise to just awaken that light body within me, the more spiritual side of things, because that works better for me when I'm just coming from a place of— from the essence, you know what I mean? You know what I mean? So anyway, I have a book that I'm reading. It helps to kind of settle me. And just reading in general does that. So I just grabbed what I was inspired by the title. And this is a favorite book, is Habits of a Happy Brain. And I'm just going to read a little excerpt. It deals a lot with the, um, chemical drugs that are in our brain, the happy hormones. So I wanted to share something that resonates with me because, um, I noticed that I'm one of those people, if I meet someone, doesn't matter male or female, but right now I'm kind of leaning towards the male. If I meet someone or encounter someone, may already know them, and conversation-wise, if we're like vibrating on a certain level, I get really high off of that. But I'm— I've had a few instances recently where I know for a fact that maybe my body language was taken the wrong way because I get like this really— I get a really high feeling when I'm talking about things that resonate with me and that I'm excited about, and I get touchy-feely, like, like, yes, I know, you know. And, um, I'm definitely— I feel like I'm being respectful. It's not, you know, I'm not crossing any lines, at least consciously I'm not. Um, but I'm realizing that not everyone interprets it the same way, you know. So I've had a couple situations where I think that on the male side of things, they thought that it probably seems a little flirtatious is what I'm saying. And I want to work on that and still remain myself because, um, I'm not the chaser. Let's put that out there. I don't want to cross my lines. Um, I don't want anyone to feel disrespected, you know. But I am a touchy-feely person. It's like I'm almost— I just gotta— so anyway. I think it, um, it has a lot to do with oxytocin, which is a chemical, a happy hormone in the brain that's released and is stimulated by touch and trust. So when I, when I hear words of truthfulness and it's coming from a place of like righteousness or just in tune with the truth and the universal order of of things, if it resonates with nature and how I perceive life and this experience, I feel so happy. And it's like a drug. I know it is that oxytocin. It's, it's, it's— I get high. It's like a natural high. And that in and of itself makes me happy. So I might get a little like, yes, I'm not Yes, and I'm shaking my head. And so, um, at the end of the day, I just kind of want to understand that a little bit. So it says oxytocin is stimulated by touch and trust, and animals' touch and trust go together. Apes only allow trusted companions to touch them because they know from experience that violence can erupt in an instant. In humans, everything from holding hands to feeling supported triggers oxytocin. Orgasms does too. Sex triggers a lot of oxytocin at once, yielding a lot of social trust for a very short time. Holding hands stimulates a small amount of oxytocin, but when repeated over time, as in the case of elderly couples, it builds up a circuit that easily triggers social trust. Childbirth triggers a huge oxytocin spurt in mammals, both mother and child. That's deep. Wow. Nurturing other people's children can stimulate it too. Man, that's so crazy because I'm like that with like my nieces and nephews, of course my children. But it's this abundance of— it's like a high feeling. I get so happy and I love them so much. And I just— it's a feeling of, um, just connection and bonding, and I love it. And I do realize I've always been like that, even as a child. And I think my parents, they were very good examples of like nurturers and I feel like my father always bonded very well with, you know, people around him, and just showing concern and trust definitely was probably a big factor. But it's interesting. So childbirth triggers it. Nurturing other people's children, um, can stimulate it. Friendship bonds. Stimulate oxytocin, and they also promote reproductive success. Monkeys and apes with more social alliances have more surviving offspring, and adolescents clearly desire individuals with more social alliances too. Oxytocin is related to love in so many ways that it is often called the bonding hormone. Or the cuddle chemical. Y'all don't understand, I am so— I don't know. So does it mean I need more oxytocin? No, it probably means that I— that it gets stimulated a lot. But maybe it's a cycle, so maybe the more oxytocin you have, then you show more love and you show more trust and you become more connected with people around you. And then it stimulates and helps to release the oxytocin within. I just literally talked to one of my nieces— my great niece reached out to me yesterday and she was just saying she missed me. I was like, yeah, me too. You got to come over so we can cuddle, huh? I still cuddle with these babies and they're like— y'all probably think I'm weird, but they're teenagers and Yes, we cuddle and we watch movies and we eat snacks. Try to keep it healthy, but yes, we do that. And I still cuddle with my children, and that oxytocin is real. Get you some. Start hugging on these babies. They need it. We need, um, we need more love and bonding out here. You know, it's a village. Takes a village, it really does. It takes a village. And now I'm starting to see even on a chemical level how important that is. So anyway, this has helped me calm down. So thanks for listening to me rant about my bonding issues or my bonding addiction. I have a bonding addiction. I think that's what it is. I love connection. With people. And, um, of course, the right people, the right energy. And, you know, I'm here for it. I'm here for it. I'm manifesting it. I see it. It's here. It's right now. Get you some oxytocin in your life, Aries. I do appreciate you listening. I'm gonna go ahead and get prepared for my 14 Days of Total Transformation group, the private session is on and popping. Uh, I'm so excited to serve and to help people get their life on track one step at a time. And just look out for the next session, it's coming up soon.
