The Art of Crypto breaks down why timing matters as much as price. A retracement into an order block at 5 AM has low odds, but the same setup at 9:30 AM during the New York futures open has much higher probability. He claims this timing framework lets him pinpoint moves within 15 to 30 minutes.

If you take a look at your chart, you have 2 axes. You have the y-axis, which is price action, but you also have the x-axis, which is time. Price action behaviors happening at certain times drastically changes the probability of your trade playing out or not. For example, if I were to retrace into this order block right here, right now at 5 AM, which is dead in the middle of nowhere, chances are I'm going to get stopped out, or chances are this is just going to retrace a lot more than I expect. But if we were to retrace into this order block right here, let's say sometime during the New York kill zone, let's say even 9:30 AM, because that's when the New York futures open, then this is happening at this time, and then it starts breaking down. I can be much more confident that this trade is going to play out because certain things happening at certain times is the secret sauce to getting high probability moves out of the market in a way that almost seems like you have a crystal ball. And I've clearly demonstrated this over the last year and a half or so where I've been publicly sharing my trades. And a lot of the times I tend to be able to pinpoint these moves down to the exact like 15 to 30 minute window. And there's a reason for that.
