Traders shrink positions in bear markets but stay too cautious in bull runs, costing them huge gains. A trader might make $500 when the market could have handed them $10,000. Fear keeps you small when you should be sizing up.

This is something I preach about a lot. A lot of the times, you know, people adapt to bad market conditions, right? Which is, oh yeah, you know, if you're in a crypto bear market or whatever, then you start lowering your position sizes, you start being a little bit more cautious. But what people also don't really realize is like good market conditions is also a type of market condition that you should be adapting to. If you remain overly cautious in a market condition that is really good, that is also a bad thing because now you're not able to make the most out of That if in this hypothetical scenario you could have made, you know, $10,000, but because of you being overly cautious in market condition where you're not supposed to, maybe you only end up with, you know, $500, right? That is also a mistake. Now, yes, did you make money and you still feel decent about it? Yes, but that is fundamentally still a mistake.
