During a market drawdown, sticking with a proven trading system beats switching to something untested. Stopping guarantees you stay underwater. Keep executing the same mechanical strategy and you maximize your odds of breaking even when conditions shift.

Assuming you have a system that is profitable, then wouldn't it make sense that if you would run into a drawdown period, if you stop executing this very profitable system that you have, you will only guarantee that you're going to be in a drawdown for even longer, slash you will never get out of the drawdown because you're abandoning the profitable system in return for something else that hasn't been proven yet. So when you're in a drawdown period, as long as you can prove that your system is profitable, you just stick to that. The more you execute it consistently the way it's meant to be is going to maximize your chances of getting out of that drawdown period and just going back to break even or potentially into profit, which is why like for me, I never really fret about new drawdown periods because I understand like this system works like a charm. Like it's mechanical, it's systematic, and it's super consistent. All I have to do is to just keep executing this, wait for better market conditions, and off I go.
