In this promotional video, master martial arts and self‑defense instructor Theresa Byrne (known as Master T) shares how a traumatic brain injury (TBI) from a car accident forced her to pause in‑person teaching, but also opened the door to online instruction. She announces a free webinar titled “Take Back Your Power: 5 Steps to Unleash Your Inner Warrior,” aimed at people who struggle with conflict, assertiveness, or setting boundaries. Byrne explains that her self‑defense teaching focuses on prevention—helping students avoid situations where physical defense is needed—by cultivating an “inner warrior” and practicing healthy boundaries. She describes how boundaries are learned through lived practice and promises that participants will leave with tools to feel safer, more confident, and able to live a life they love. The video ends with a clear call‑to‑action, directing viewers to a simple sign‑up link.

Hi, my name is Theresa Byrne and I'm a master instructor of martial arts and self-defense. My students call me Master T. I've been teaching self-defense and martial arts for over 20 years now. And I had something really interesting happen. I was in a car accident and ended up with a TBI, a traumatic brain injury, and was unable to teach. They don't know when I can go back to teaching the way I did. And Something funny happened because, I mean, do you know how life throws you those curveballs, and you get to decide what you do with them? And, I— something funny happened. Because of the brain injury, I get to teach something I've always wanted to do online. I get to actually share the wisdom that I've been sharing in classes, locally and nationally in workshops. I get to do it online. And so, my abilities to teach have not changed, and I'm offering a free... What is it? Class, a webinar, and it's Take Back Your Power: 5 Steps to Unleash— that was 10, sorry, one hand— 5 Steps to Unleash Your Inner Warrior. And, inside each of us is an inner warrior, and this class is for you if you've ever struggled with what to say in a difficult situation, if conflict drives you crazy and you shut down, or maybe you're too aggressive and you don't know how to handle it, or if you've ever left a situation and you didn't know how to handle it or what to say, and so you didn't say anything, and later, it, it, it You're sleeping, and all of a sudden, these thoughts come into your mind, and you're like, that's what I should have said! Unless I'm the only one, in which case, I totally understand. But, this class is really, it's a chance for you to figure out what keeps you safe, what keeps you sane. And, the interesting fact about self-defense is that most of the time, the work that I've done in teaching self-defense has helped people never, ever get into a situation where they knowingly have to use it. Which, for years, I was frustrated because I didn't have a lot of repeat And then, one of my students said, do you not realize that means that when you're teaching this to people, they get it in such a way that they never have to learn it again? And, if I can do that for you, then that would make me very, very happy, and that means that you would be able to walk with power, and with that inner warrior already intact, and strong, and learning that healthy boundaries. And, boundaries are such a funny thing. It's like, the only way you learn boundaries, any of us learn boundaries, is by practicing them. You learn them by growing up. And, I don't know very many people who had a class in boundaries as a kid, and they practiced them, and they had boundary lessons on the board. We learn boundaries because we live them. And, not all of us lived them well. And so, my goal is for you to understand what it takes to be healthy, and have that inner warrior possible and present for you all the time, and have a life that you love. And, I hope that you'll join us. There'll be a sign-up below, or to the side, or— I'll make it really easy. But— But, Please, take the time, and thank you for taking the time to watch this video. Again, I appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you.
