The Scary Guy describes his violent reaction to a newspaper mocking facial tattoos, then realizes he's fallen into the same hatred he opposes. He left to travel the world teaching people to see each other from the inside out, arguing that hate only dies when you stop fighting it with hate.

My legal name is The Scary Guy. I changed my name in a court of law. All of a sudden, someone I don't know in the tattoo business ran a full-page ad in the newspaper that said, "Are you tired of dealing with scary guys with war paint facial tattoos?" First thought that came to my mind was, "What am I going to do to get that guy back?" You know, revenge. I thought, "Well, I'll jump in my hot rod Lincoln, find out where that guy lives, go to his house, and run over his dog." because a flat dog would get him back, don't you think? I realized I was a name-caller, a hater. I could stereotype and categorize people at will. I jumped down off my pedestal and I told all my friends, "I'm packing my bags." They said, "Where are you going?" I said, "I'm going to travel the world to help people see each other differently, from the inside out." Here's the truth, ladies and gentlemen. We need more people to stand stand up and get involved. Less people watching stuff happen. I don't care about your past. I don't care what you've done. I don't care where you've been. I don't care what you've said about other people. I'm gonna love you the same as I loved the last guy. And that's all the way. No one is safe on this planet until all of the hate is gone. Here's the hard part. You don't eliminate hate With hate. 3, 2, 1.
