7 Dec 2025 · 3 min
Tracy Hazzard shows how a confirmation page after booking turns guests into promoters. It confirms the appointment, walks them through prep steps, and shows them the promotional assets they'll get: website features, social posts, TikToks. Guests feel prepared and professional, and often refer others.

Hey there, Feed your brand listeners. Tom and I are taking a short break and normally we don't recommend reruns. You may have heard us say that.
On the show before, so we're not.
Playing you a rerun. What we're sharing with you is a pretty short video, under five minutes. But it's about something that we have in errand on the show before. We wanted to remind you that there are podcasting tips like Short tips, anywhere from one to five minutes that are available on the podcasters united.org website that can help you with all kinds of little questions you might have about various parts of podcasting. So we're sharing with you one of our favorites, one of the more popular ones, our podcast guest podcast booking confirmation page. And this is a cool element that I use when I do guest interviews. So when I am going to have guests on my show. So I'm going to share that with you right now. You'll get to hear it, but make sure you click on the link. Go to podcasters united.org go to the blog post for this episode, go check out the tip library, go check out the YouTube playlist that has all these different tips in it. And you'll be able to find in a much more granular way, an answer to most of your burning podcasting questions, whatever you have. And remember that you can always follow up with us. Send an email to us, send a message anywhere on social media. Send a message to HelpPoditize.com or Infooodcasters United.org and just send us a message and let us know what your burning question is. If you can't find an answer here. And we'll be back with coaching episodes coming up in less than a month.
Confirmation pages after you've booked an interview is one of my favorite things to surprise a guest. It is an aha. They look at me as really professional and they do comment and share it with others, which gets me other great guests. So it's one of my little secret weapons that I do so remember. Where this goes is that this is confirmation after someone has gone through your booking calendar. So if you're using something like calendly, you can put a forwarding URL here. So normally a lot of people will just put their main website I put forward slash confirmation. So in this case I'm showing you the bingefactor.com confirmation. The point of it is to say your interview is booked. That's the number one Thing you say confirmed, you're booked, you can thank them, you can do whatever you want at the top there. But the important part is that this is the page that they go to that their guest booking was successful.
Right.
The next thing is that I have what I call the next steps, things that I am asking them to do. And I have a few steps this way. We're prepping up for promotion and also prepping up for the guest interview. So you've got both going on there. So I'm asking them to listen to the show so they can check the flow of the show. The main reason for this for me is, is that my guests are also my ideal listeners. So by asking them to do this, I'm getting them into my show before they come on. And I have lots of people who will come on my show. Guess who'll come on, who will go, I binge listen to your show before I came on here. So I've listened to, you know, 10 or more episodes. That's pretty amazing. And it really goes to building a relationship before you start your interview. The second step I asked for is for them to connect to me on social because it makes it easy to tag. They want to do this because they want to get tagged. So it's part of the promotion process. And then whatever. The third thing you might ask them to rate and review the show. I ask them to join our live coaching call and so they go to a page and they can get access to that. Then the second thing that I do after that, so this is actually the third thing in the list. I've thanked them, I've given them a confirmation. I asked them to connect to me and to do some of these steps as preparation. And then I tell them what they're going to get from being on the binge factor. So this is all the different types of promotions. We're going to put it on our website. Of course it's going to be syndicated out. Some of this is new to someone who's kind of new to podcasting that you might get a whole suite of these things. I have six different things, sometimes seven. Depends on what I'm running at any given time. I might add a seventh in here of things that I might do as a temporary promotion or to attract a really higher level guest at any given time. So these are all here. Reminds them what's going to happen. And then I give them examples, promotion examples. Examples of how we show it on Facebook, on Instagram, on YouTube, what it might look like in TikTok, how I might do it in an amazing magazine article where I might create an infographic of them. So I'm showing them examples of what they're going to get when they receive my promotion materials. This is really revolutionary. A lot of people will reach out to me and ask me, where did you get this? And I'd be say, well, would you like a call with my sales team? Because we produce this not just for me, but for all our clients. And sure enough, they will have a call because of that. So this is a great way to show your process, to show you what you're great at and what you're going to offer them. And then I have a little ask at the bottom. That's my fifth thing, my final thing. You might ask them to rate and review again. You might ask them to refer a guest like, I am here. You might ask them to join your community. Whatever it is, make sure you have it. Ask somewhere in there because you've earned it. You've already gotten them to book on your show. You're showing them what you're going to give them. There's no reason not to ask right now. So that's for the confirmation page. That comes after you've booked the guest, but before you've done the interview. This is just a nice to have, but it does give you a little professional edge over other podcasters.
