Change Your Life in 2025 | Audit Your Life | Set The Right Goal

In this solo episode of the "Lead with Confidence Now" podcast, host Travia Steward helps listeners who feel stuck about what goal to pursue for 2025. She begins with a light‑hearted holiday anecdote, then introduces a "life audit"—a quick, free online quiz that serves as a personal GPS to highlight which areas of life are thriving and which need attention. Travia guides listeners through a visualization exercise: closing their eyes, imagining December 2025, feeling proud, and identifying the single achievement that would generate that feeling. She emphasizes that the best goal is the one that creates the biggest ripple effect across health, relationships, career, and confidence, rather than being chosen because others are doing it. She addresses fear of picking the wrong goal, urging a shift from perfection to progress, and suggests committing to the chosen goal for 90 days. The episode ends with a reminder that this is the final 2024 episode, a teaser for changes in the January 2, 2025 episode, and a call to action for reviews, the life‑audit quiz, and personal coaching via email or Instagram.

Last week we talked about setting goals and how focusing on the one thing can completely change your entire year. But what if you're sitting there thinking, I don't even know what the hell I wanna do. I don't even know what that one goal is. Don't worry, you are not alone. I got you. Today we're gonna figure out how to uncover that one goal that's gonna make 2025 your best year yet. This is Lead with Confidence Now, the podcast dedicated to helping you grow your confidence and live your best life. I'm Travia Steward, and for the past 27 for 7 years, I've been on a mission to help you reinvent your relationships and career. My goal with this podcast is to show up for you so that you can rock your own world with the confidence to make that big change in your life you've been wanting to make. Yo, what's up, my peeps? Happy Podcast Thursday, the day after Christmas. So it's the day after Christmas, AKA Christmas food hangover. Stuff as a pig. And let me tell you, if you are feeling lazy, you're feeling like you can just explode, like you can't move off the couch, you just want to lay there all day, you are not alone. Or is that just me after eating my weight in gumbo, dirty rice, boiled crawfish, and king cake? Because that's how we do it. That's at least how I do it. But this also may be a day of figuring out what to do with the gifts that you have no idea what to do with because of some shit you receive from somebody who doesn't even really know you well, but because you all swap names, everybody wants everybody to have something, and then you're receiving the stuff you don't even know what to do with. Or maybe you're just hoping, I can return this, I can send it back to Amazon, or at the very least I can regift it. Or maybe you're actually in full sales mode, grabbing all of the sales from the blow-up Santas and the giant Rudolph for next year's lawn decorations because they're all half off now. I love how I feel at Christmas. I love how the world— well, Okay, maybe not the world, but my environment, the people in Arizona, the people that I interact with, it seems like for the majority of the people, it's a happy time. So I like to be reminded of that very happy time. So enough about me and Christmas and all the things. This episode today is a quick episode. It's a continuation of last week's where we talked about focusing on one goal for 2025. A simple way that I decide on my goal is looking at my life, taking a life audit, and figuring out what matters most to me. In doing that life audit, I am taking a look, a bird's eye view of the major areas of my life, because the best goals don't come from, we should be doing that thing because Troy's doing it, we should be doing that thing because Danielle's doing it, we should be doing that thing because David's doing it. They actually come from your life and figuring out what matters most to you. You can't begin to map out any goals of where you're going if you don't know where you're starting. In a life audit, the quiz that I've designed is like checking your GPS, and it shows you what's working in your life and what's not. It's actually what you think about your life. It also gives you an idea of where to focus your energy, because we've all heard it said that if a plane's GPS is off by 1 degree, it can end up in a completely different state, maybe sometimes in a different country. So that's why I want you to get crystal clear on what it is that you want. One of the fun exercises that I still do, and actually I get my clients to do this as well. So close your eyes. Well, unless you're driving, don't close your eyes if you're driving, unless you can pull over on the side of the road and then close your eyes. And then I want you to imagine it's December 2025 and you're looking back at it and it was the most amazing year yet in your life, and you feel absolutely amazing. You feel such a high level of achievement and satisfaction and just happiness, and you feel so successful. You are proud of yourself. So now, after you experiencing those feelings, what's the one thing that you accomplished in that year that contributed to you feeling that way? And this is taking a moment to actually dream a little bit. We don't want to spend time going, well, is it realistic? You know, this, this just isn't going to happen. Just dream. In that dream, did you finally write that book? Did you finally start that business? Did you finally run that race? Did you finally drop 20 pounds? Did you fall in love? Did you get married? Did you have a baby? Did you get out of debt? Whatever comes to mind, just let that be the starting point. Because sometimes the best way to figure out your goal, is to think about how you want to feel when the year ends. Do you want to feel proud? Do you want to feel accomplished? Do you want to feel confident? Let that feeling guide you to what matters most. So if you don't want to do this audit on your own, I got you. You see, I created a free quiz that helps you figure out where to focus your energy in the major areas of your life. It's quick, takes you like less than a minute, I believe, and it helps you to figure out what areas of your life that maybe you're not 100% satisfied with. Maybe you're not a 10. Out of 10 in that area. And so it will help you figure out what changes do I want to make right now? What area of my life actually needs the most attention? So if you want to take that life audit, head over to traviestewart.com and it's right there on my homepage. Take the quiz today. I believe that this is a great way to cut through and eliminate a lot of the overthinking so you can get some clarity on what it is that you want to do because the best goals aren't just about the result, the outcome of that one particular goal. They're about the ripple effect that they can create in your life. For example, like let's say you have a goal to get healthier, to lose 50 pounds. It's not just about losing the weight, although that's fantastic. It's about having more energy. It's about feeling better in your body. It's about feeling a level of vitality that you may not have felt in years. It's about showing up stronger, showing up livelier, not being like always tired for the people that you love in your life. Or maybe it's if you have a goal of writing a book or launching a business, a side hustle, it's not about just the extra income or switching jobs. Maybe that task is about proving to yourself that you can create something incredible from scratch. You see, the right goal will create momentum and ripple in the other areas of your life and make those lives better too. So if you're stuck, think about the one goal that would have the biggest ripple effect on you. And don't overthink it because I know some of you are sitting there going, well, what if I picked the wrong goal? Listen, shift that focus from picking the wrong goal to if you feel like you picked the wrong goal in the beginning, then make that one goal the right goal. It's never too late to do that. You just have to switch your focus and then you just choose it, go all in on it, decide that this is what it is for 90 days and just start. Focus on that one thing, the actions that will get you closer to that and actually make it happen. Now, it doesn't mean that you can't work on other things later, like in a few months, but starting with the one goal gives you the best chance to succeed, and progress beats perfection every time. So I want you to imagine yourself at the end of the year celebrating your achievements, your success, and now be decisive. That one goal probably has already come up. What is the one thing that will make you feel the proudest? Then go take the Life Audit quiz and see if it confirms what has been on your mind, or maybe even opens your eyes to something that you haven't considered yet. Because you don't have to have it all figured out before you start. You just have to start. And picking a goal, something that you want to accomplish, is less about perfection and again, more about the progress of actually doing and getting started. So trust yourself, trust your decisions, and just go for it. Because 2025 is waiting for you. And I know that you have got what it takes to make it. Your best year yet. That's what I'm focusing on. So let's do this together. You've got this. As I round out this episode and the podcast for this year, this is the last podcast episode of 2024, and I will be making some changes for 2025 because that's how I do it. We'll talk about all of that on the, the what, the January 2nd episode, 2025, baby. But I would like to remind you as I round out this season, if you've ever gotten any results, any value from this podcast. And if you haven't yet, please comment, leave a 5-star review, and it would, it would make my day. It would help other people find the podcast. It will also help it grow. And then going into 2025, if you'd like some help making your 2025 your best year yet, send me an email, hit me up on Instagram. I'd love to help you make your goals a reality. Let's make this year 2025, this next year actually, not this year. Let's make 2025 the best year yet for all of us. Alright, my peeps, I'll see you next year.
