I've been contemplating buying this new curling iron. It's the T3. Everybody's heard of it and everybody uses it, but I have a problem with it and I don't think I want it because I don't like the fact that when you curl with it, you have to spray holding spray on a person's hair for it to hold, or else the curls literally don't last past that day. And I don't like that. Like, I don't like my clients to leave with a bunch of product on their hair. The first day they got it done. So I'm going to show the difference in me curling the same way with the curling iron with no product on her hair versus the flat iron and how tight the curls are, how long they last, and everything like that. So this is a 1-inch flat iron, and I'm gonna curl the other curl with a 1-inch flat iron. I mean, did I say that? This is a 1-inch curling iron, and I'm going to show the other curl with a 1-inch flat iron. Now these curls, I do like using them like at the top of the hair for like that look, really soft like flow look, but these curls do not last unless you use product, and I, I'm just not that stylist. So the curl is pretty, but as you see— it's like a loose little spiral, and I'm just going to leave it. I'm not going to touch it. And then I'm going to do the next one with my flat iron. I'm going to kind of play with these curls a little bit, comb them, and you'll see what I mean. So I'm going to kind of comb that one, pull it apart. Comb this one, pull it, and you see the difference in them. So imagine you see how loose this one is. Like, this one is still maintaining its tightness. This one is just a little bit more loose. So if you want curls to eventually turn into this, you need them to be tighter to start with. So when I curl with my flat iron, the curls initially are tighter but they give the client longer with the fresh install and the fresh hair, whereas this one is already just still loosening up. Like, as the day goes by, imagine going outside, hitting a little bit of humidity, this curl is gone versus this curl is still tight. I'm playing with it, I'm combing it, and it's still just as tight. Whereas this one's just loose. Can you see the difference? Am I crazy? Y'all think I'm crazy? Drop a comment.
