In this tutorial, TT demonstrates a step‑by‑step process for lightening and coloring a set of long curly hair bundles (30", 28", 26", 24") and a 20‑inch lace frontal using Pravana Pure Light Powder and 30‑volume developer. She explains how she prepares the mixture, brushes and partially flat‑irons the ends for easier application, and why she starts with the longest bundle to synchronize processing times. TT details the technique of applying thick layers, brushing through, and stacking bundles to ensure even lift, while also bleaching the knots. She shares a common mistake—accidentally bleaching already‑lightened hair—and shows how to stop the reaction instantly with water. The video covers her rinsing strategy (starting with the longest piece) and emphasizes preserving the natural curl pattern after processing. Finally, she reveals the results, notes that the curls returned quickly, and directs viewers to a separate styling video for finishing looks.

Hey everyone, it's your girl TT and I'm back with another walkthrough video. This video is of me coloring this hair, so tune in. Hey everyone, you can catch me installing and styling this video in the next video, which is in the description below. But for this video, I'm going to show you how I obtained this color, which was a very easy process. I used lightener and a developer in 30. I do have styling videos where I show a few different styles to style your frontal, So make sure you check that out in the description. So here we have 4 bundles and a frontal. I have 20— I have 30-inch, 28, 26, 24-inch, and then I have a 20-inch lace frontal. So here I'm using Pravana Pure Light Powder Lightener, and I'll use 3 scoops of that along with my Pravana developer in 30 volume, and I will add more of the developer depending on the consistency. I want to use all of this for all 4 bundles and the frontal and bleaching the knots. So that's why I used so much of it. So you want to set the lightener aside because it will expand, and I don't want it to expand when I bleach the knots. So I set it aside for a few minutes. What I'm going to do is brush out the ends. I'm going to flat iron the ends to make the application easier. And then I will apply it to the longest bundle first. So I'm applying it to the longest bundle first. As you see, I didn't completely like bone straighten it because it is curly hair and I do want it to revert back. And I will be honest, I was kind of nervous about that, so I didn't straighten it as, as, as straight as I could. I started with the ends of the 30-inch bundle because since it's longer, it's more to color, which would take longer. So I want to get that out of the way first so that when I'm done with the last bundle, hopefully that 30-inch will be ready to go, ready to shampoo out. So I did the 30-inch first, and now I'm on the 28-inch. I do apply it to both sides very thick and then brush it through. And then I put the, the first and second next to each other. Then the third bundle I put on top of the first bundle and just colored it through and let some of the first bundles bleed bleach kit on it. And of course, continue to brush it, brush it through, flip it over and brush it through again. And then I do the last bundle, which is the shortest, which has the least to do, so it's the fastest. So honestly, when I am taking the time to do the frontal, that shorter bundle will be done by the time I get to rinsing out the other 3 bundles. So If you think about it, it all makes sense. Just start with your longer bundle. By the time you get to your last bundle, you can rinse out your first bundle because it has sat longer than the rest of them. If you look on the right side, that 30-inch is already starting to lighten, lighten, so it'll be ready to wash out as soon as we get done with the ends and the bleaching of the knots. So I'm gonna let it sit some more because I want it to be a little bit more brown than that. So I'm going to fold over the plastic and sit the frontal on the plastic where there's no bleach that can touch the hairs. But I made a mistake here, and I'm going to show you how to fix it. If you did not go to cosmetology school and you do not know this, I will teach you something new today. So you see, I put that bleach on my bundles that were lightened. That's a big no. I don't want blotches of color on my non-colored hair. So one thing about lightener is that when you put water to bleach, it stops the process. So if you ever get bleach somewhere that you don't want it, just take some water and rub it down with your wet hands, and that will take care of it. So as you see, everything's still sitting, and I just bleached the knots. And I'm going to rinse everything out after I apply another coat to those ends. I'm going to rinse everything out starting with the longest length, which I applied first. Remember guys, this may be a fast video, but you can rewind, pause, and replay as much as you like, so don't be alarmed with the speed. And here are my results. The hair snapped back so quick. I was so happy, y'all, you don't understand. Most people's fear with straightening or coloring hair is always the curls not being the same, but for this beautiful hair, it was not a problem. So here is a video of it dry, and you all check out the video in the description to see how I styled it and how I blended the frontal texture with the back texture. All it took was a little brushing out of the ends of the back and then cutting the lengths to match the frontal, because of course the frontal was a 20-inch. So check out that video in the description and thumbs up this video. I can't wait to see y'all later.
