In this video LaToya Kelly (TT) reviews a set of AliSugar Brazilian kinky‑curly hair that includes three bundles (22", 24" and 26") and a 20‑inch 4x4 lace closure. She unboxes the product, notes the cute packaging and the included note, and describes the hair’s initial crunchy texture when dry. Kelly demonstrates that wetting the hair dramatically softens the curls, making them bouncy and easier to brush. Using a wide‑toothed paddle brush she separates the curls from the ends upward, creating more volume and a larger look. She compares the natural dry side with the wet‑brushed side, highlighting differences in length, volume, and feel, and emphasizes that the hair is feather‑light and not crunchy after brushing. She discusses shedding, distinguishing between normal pillow shedding and shedding caused by aggressive manipulation, and notes a small amount of shedding while raking through the hair, which she does not consider a deal‑breaker. Kelly also shows how the lace closure can be part‑shifted for different part styles, mentions the lack of baby hairs with a closure, and shares her preference for side versus middle parts. Throughout she offers practical tips—wet the hair before styling, avoid combs that can rip hair, and be gentle to minimize hair loss. The video ends with a call for viewer feedback on preferred styling and parting options.

Hey everyone, it's your girl TT, and this is an AliSugar hair review. And this is kinky curly hair, and I have done nothing to it other than put it in. And, um, I have my little lace closure here, and I did part that and put a little makeup underneath it. I did not bleach the knots, but with the makeup, it looks perfectly fine. So this company is an AliExpress company, but as we all know from other reviews, being on AliExpress doesn't mean that you don't have good hair, so who cares anymore. Um, the hair did come in a cute little box, and it came with actually a note of what's actually in it. And, um, the box is really cute. My hair is Brazilian kinky curly. I have a 20-inch 4x4 lace closure, and then I have the 22-inch at the top, the 24-inch in the middle, and then the 26-inch at the bottom. So I do have 3 bundles and a closure, and as you see, it is super, super full, which who doesn't love? Well, I love it. A lot of people don't. One thing that I was very hesitant about when I first got the hair, the curls were kind of crunchy. It was just kind of crunchy, so I was really terrified, like, how is this hair going to turn out? Now mind you, this hair is in its natural state, so I have not actually done anything to it other than the closure. Of course I had to part the closure, so it was hell getting it apart. But then I wet it, so when I like comb, like put my little comb through and then like try to separate it, it was hell. But once I put water in it, it was like beautiful. So about this much of it is what's been pulled apart and water has been put on it., but you see it just blends in with the rest. And I haven't finger combed through the actual tight curls itself either, so I want to do that for you all so you all can see, you know, up close and personal what it looks like. I wanted to actually kind of brush through it with you all on camera so you can see what it actually looks like. I'm using a really big paddle brush and it's really wide toothed. And you want to start from the ends of any curly hair because you're going to have a problem if you don't. Um, and I'm just kind of going to brush, and I'm only doing this to make it bigger and to just get those curls out away from each other. Like, it's so tight. Um, this is a wig. I did sew this onto a wig cap. So even that quick, like, you see one side versus the other. All right, so again, it is very hard to do this. It's very hard to do this without wetting it, and that was my first mistake. So if you come across this hair and you want to order it and try it out, wet the hair. Okay, so I'm going to show you all what it looks like wet. So this side, of course, still hasn't been messed with. It's in its natural state. Okay, this side, I kind of brushed through those curls just to kind of give it that bigger look. Some people like bigger hair. This, you see, it's just kind of flatter, and that other side got that volume in it, which I love. And it's super lightweight, like it's like a feather, like it's feather lightweight. And it's not crunchy after I brush through it, which is so weird. It must be the way that they get it to this curl pattern, which I'm not mad about. So let's spray some water on it, a lot of water on it. You see how it's just like bouncing, bouncing around? Okay, not going to play with y'all. All right, I don't know if that's enough for now, but we're going to find out. Oh, that was the problem I came across with the closure. If the end would start really raveling up, so I would have to kind of pull the end apart And now it's back to normal. I do have a little bit of shedding when I do this, um, but I mean, I'm kind of breaking through this hair, so I mean, that's not a deal breaker for me. When I wore it out, I didn't actually have shedding. So when you brush through your hair, if there's shedding, that's a different story from you just woke up in the morning and there was hair all over your pillow. Like, that is— those are two different versions of shedding. If you are really manipulating the hair like this and just doing all kinds of stuff to it, I'm okay with it shedding a little bit in my fingers while I'm raking through it like a maniac. And it's also the curls are kind of stretched out when you wet it and, uh, comb through it. If you notice, this side is now way longer than the other side, so that means it's kind of— and it's even in the back, so this is the long side over here. And then as you see over here, it gets a lot longer when you pull it out with the water. Okay, so this is the original side, is the natural state. If you did nothing to it at all. And then this is the wet side. I'm gonna say I like this side better. I like it better after it's kind of combed through and wet. It looks more natural. It looks like I got Indian in my family, and if I do, it ain't nowhere close enough to affect my hair. Okay, so what do you think? Which side do you like? Which side do you like better? The side before I kind of curled, before I wet it, or this side? And you see, I have been like brushing and pulling. People always ask me, do I use, um, do I use combs in my wigs when I make them? And the truth is, I do not. Um, combs, I have heard, rip people's hair out. So when you get those wigs that have like those combs right here, it's constantly just pulling at your hairline, and I don't like that. I'm trying to acquire as little hair loss as possible, if none, you know, like I don't— if any, like I don't want any hair loss in my clients or myself. I feel like my closure is kind of— is that middle? Okay. Um, who wants hair loss? I don't. So, and my hair stays like, and we rolling, rolling, rolling on the river.
Oh, okay.
All right, so let's just kind of show y'all how my wigs stay. I'm like, okay, so of course with lace closures I can change the part if I wanted to. Like, if I wanted this to be like a deep part I can just kind of shift it over and wear it like this. So you do have versatility when you have just a lace part closure. You just don't have the opportunity for baby hairs. And then— oh, ouch. Okay, then I can switch it to that side. If I want to, I can have a part over there. So what do y'all think? Hmm. You all already know Keisha did my makeup. Am I gonna do this side? It's cute. Which part do you all like best? In the middle or on the sides? You all know I'm a side part person. If you follow me regularly, you know that middle parts are not my favorite, but with this big curly hair, I kind of like the middle part. Have you heard of this company? Have you dealt with them before? What's your feedback? Let me know. I want to hear your responses.
