Frontal Sew in (NO GLUE) | 4 Week Touch Up by @TTDoesitall

TT Does It All installs a glueless lace frontal by sewing it straight back and leaving the fringe out for comfort, then shows the four-week touch-up using the ball-cap method. She uses her homemade baby-hair cream on edges, cleans with warm water and dish detergent, and adjusts for new growth.

Hey everyone, it's your girl TT Does It All, and this is a two-part video— the 4-week touch-up and the original install, which you see right here. To smooth her edges back, I am using my baby hair cream, which is available on my website, ttdoesitall.com. I have different sized bottles or jars or containers. They come from 4 ounces to 32 ounces, so depending on your need. I am going to go ahead and smooth her edges back, braid all of her hair straight to the back, and then I'm going to do the sew-in. I do leave that part, um, that's closer to her eyebrow out if they have that smaller forehead there. It is super, super, super, super annoying to have hair from the lace frontal on your eyebrows. Like, it's just so annoying when washing your face so I like to leave that part out when I'm doing my client's hair. This is a glueless frontal initial install, and I am going to simply use the baby hair cream that I make to lay it down. And 4 weeks later, she will come in for the touch-up. When you are cleaning off your lace, when I just use my baby hair cream, or if you were to use it, the only thing you would need is warm water and like maybe some Dawn detergent, um, dishwashing liquid, I mean, to just clean that lace off. And then you come back for a touch-up. So, um, I am braiding her hair straight back. The client did bring her own hair with her, but if you all have seen my videos, it looks very similar to my Brazilian deep wave. So if you wanted to achieve that look, I do have my Brazilian deep wave available for this exact same look. So, um, as you see, I really, really, really, really, really want to thank my client for being willing to do a YouTube video, um, being open to being recorded and to take pictures, because I get so many clients that are afraid to take their wigs off or afraid to show me their real hair because they're really insecure about their scalp underneath. And I have dealt with clients that are completely bald from hair loss, that have just hair in the bottom of the back, that have just hair around the edges and none in the middle. I have clients with just thinning edges, alopecia, um, traction alopecia, some that just had a bad experience and their hair grows back. I have dealt with so many different clients in so many different situations and stages in life, from younger to older, so Don't be ashamed of your hair. I got you. So I'm using my Wild Grow hair oil, and ladies and gentlemen, to answer your questions about Wild Grow hair oil, please listen to my podcast if you have not already. It's called Grown Up Ish, and we talk about grown-up-ish. Okay, so I spoke on what do I think about this Wild Grow hair oil. Do I feel like it grows my clients' hair? Um, and my clients always experience hair growth when I do their hair, always. And I do always put this on my client's hair. So do I think that this is the reason or one of the reasons? Listen and find out and drop a comment if you already know, like, okay, she already said this, you know, because maybe you listened to it already. So I am sewing on my net here, and the net just allows me to stitch anywhere. It does not protect the hair or make it stronger or make it healthier or make it grow faster or slower. It is simply so that I can stitch any direction regardless of a braid. I do have uploaded to my membership channel the what you didn't see in this video. There are things that I did that just aren't seen unless you're a member. So the first thing I do is I stitch the frontal back, um, down and then I customize the front, let it melt as I stitch the back, and then we're good to go. So as you see right now, her frontal is not attached to her head. There is no glue being used for this. And on her touch-up video, I will do a ball cap method and then I will bond it down. Clients a lot of the time are afraid of adhesive, um, and they just don't know why they should get it if not getting it isn't a— is an option. So, um, I just warn my clients, like, don't be afraid of adhesive with me because I am a stylist that really, really, really protects my client's head. Um, so here I am using the baby hair cream when I lay her edges down. You'll see that. But, um, regardless of if I use adhesive or not, I'm always mindful of my client's natural hair. I'm always educating my clients on how to take their hair down, how to maintain it, and when to come back. So you're never in the dark as far as maintenance or anything else when you're a client of mine. And, um, so yeah, here's where I'm using the baby hair cream, and, um, I'm going to just lay her hair down. And I did not like that middle swoop, so I changed that up a little bit. And I'm glad I did it because to me it looked so much more natural afterwards. Too many other swoops is just too much sometimes. So here I am going to stitch the back of it down, left to right, left to right. I do have a mirror across the room so that I can look and see what her hair looks like to the naked eye. That's what's really important to me, is if you see this woman across the room, will you look at her hair and say like, oh, that's a frontal, or 'Okay, that's a— she must have a good relaxer,' or 'I think she keeps her hair slayed,' or, you know, like, 'Oh, her leave-out is nice and straight,' you know, like, what will— what would I think? So I do use my mirror across the room to determine how I lay those baby hairs, how full or thin they are. And again, on my membership page is where you can see the real-life version, a speed of what I'm doing. So here I am using water in a spray bottle just to spray, and I'm using a little bit of mousse on the ends of her hair. This is the Got2b Glued Mousse, which I will link in the description. I'll link everything in the description for you all. But, um, this is her finished look for the actual initial sew-in. This is a double feature, so I will also have the 4-week touch-up video available. It may look a little different because this was originally— the, the 4-week touch-up was originally added to my Instagram, and I finally found the initial install, so I wanted to get that uploaded for you all. So if you like this look, the edges and everything, the texture, the style, the commentary, please thumbs up this video. Drop a comment, you guys. Hopefully we're out of this quarantine pretty soon, but if not, just relax because I got plenty of videos for you. No, you just tie it down. Just tie it down. It's hard. Feel it. Just tap it. Yeah. See it ain't going nowhere. Okay. Now if it was soft, you have to deal with it. But remember, right? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't do that. Um, all you have to do is when you are wearing it, um, I mean when you go to sleep at night, tie down how I had it tied down. Okay, but with a scarf. Okay, and make sure you tie down. Hey everybody, it's TT Does It All and this is a lace frontal touch-up video. This was pictures from her initial install, and this was a glueless lace frontal install. No adhesive was used for this look. And then I'm going to show you exactly one month later. My client came back and she had shampooed her hair, shampooed everything out of it. No glue was used, so she didn't have to worry about that. And now we're back, so I'm going to go ahead and remove the frontal. Sometimes after new growth, the frontal does grow out enough to where I have to remove it and then place it a little bit more forward, and that's because of the new growth underneath the braids not as flat. So right here I am using my baby hair cream that I personally make myself. It's available on my website, TTdoesitall.com. That is what I use to hold the baby hairs in place also. So I am going to leave the front of her hair out. You see those two little sides, and I'm leaving that out because you don't want to waste a lot of frontal space. If I leave it out, it has a natural look, and it's very, very close to her eyebrows. It's very annoying for clients to have a frontal dang near connected to their eyebrows, so I personally just don't do it. It looks a lot better without that tucked into that frontal. So I did my ball cap method and I am ready to put on that lace frontal. And you see those two sides are still left out, so I am just going to repart and cut off any extra lace that's covering what I don't want it to cover. And I am going to just stitch the back of it down, relay her baby hairs, and, and we're going to tighten. So I do just go in through the back and I just kind of stitch together anything that's just kind of loose. Um, that just kind of gives her a sturdier feel, honestly. Um, nothing is coming out, no threads will be coming loose at this point, it's all about the new growth that's under there. So I just kind of bring it all back together as one, and it's not like moving. You know how if you've had a sew-in that you've had in for a long time, you know, it's like you can like move your hair around. Like, I don't know, it's hard to explain. But I'm stitching her frontal down. I always ask my customers, if you have extra hair left from your install, bring that back with you for your touch-up, because with me moving the frontal forward, I sometimes have to bring um, use some extra hair in the back. So if you all want to see the inside and you are part of my membership channel on my YouTube, I will show you what I'm not showing right now, which trust me, there are some things that I'm not showing. So if you want to see those videos, drop a comment and I will upload that to my membership channel for you. And this is her finished look, you guys. Let me know what you think. I am just putting some water on it and then I'm gonna be finished. So if you are watching this, thumbs up this video, share this video with your friends and family, and I appreciate all the love. And also, I'm looking for an assistant, so if you're on Facebook, make sure you submit an application. You never know, you could be my next assistant.
